Although it rained during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed the location and amenities. We travelled with two small dogs and the backyard and verandah were both very comfortable and accomodating- thank you Jock and Robyn

Fabulous location only 3 mins walk to water with lovely waterfront walkways, cafes, shops, parks and amazing views. Only 3 min walk to RSL club which has good meals and a dog friendly daytime cafe. This is the best part of Bribie Island with beautiful areas and nice beaches. Our host was lovely, welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the spacious, comfortable and lovely, furnished 2 bedroom, downstairs apartment which was thoughtfully supplied with everything one could possibly need. Pets are welcomed and our little dog had a great time too. We would really love to go there again.

What a lovely unit, Robyn and Jock have done a great job decorating this unit with some wonderful fixtures, furniture and art work. My partner, myself and our fur baby had a wonderful week here. I would recommend staying here to everyone if you get the chance. The garden is like being in a tropical forest with many flowering plants.

We had another good break away at Bongaree, this property is perfect for us with our small dog and the location is great, thanks Robyn and Jock. Whilst there are 3 good pedestal fans, ceiling fans or a/c in the bedrooms and screens on the windows, would make this a perfect summer holiday house. Will definitely be back in the cooler months.

The house was amazing. The garden was a masterpiece.
It’s the best holiday house I have stayed in and at 75, I have stayed in hundreds of places. My dog loved it, the birds were amazing, I will be back.

Modern with an old world charm. The pool was great and so close to the beach, club and shops. Robyn and Jock were great and very accommodating for anything we needed.

We had a lovely stay at Birdsong. House was lovely. Owners met us on arrival and showed us through the house. It was pet friendly too which was important to us. All the basics was there too like towels, including pool towels, linen and kitchen cleaning stuff etc. Highly recommend the house.

Robyn and Jock were amazing hosts and gave us our privacy but were always on hand for any advice.
Our stay was amazing with a very secure backyard for our two puppies. Lovely home with fabulous deck area for chillin out on.
Pet friendly RSL was a bonus.
Will definitely be returning again.

This ground level property, located at the end of a quiet lane, provides a perfect location for peaceful relaxation in a tropical garden setting. The owners are on hand to welcome guests & assist with any enquiries, but otherwise are no intrusive. A separate entrance leads into a spacious cool retreat with 2 bedrooms, easy access bathroom and a large open plan living area with comfy couches, dining area and kitchen . Full length bifold wooden doors open out to the swimming pool & outdoor dining/seating area, all framed by the beautiful garden. Birds abound. All this is a short walk to the Esplanade, Museum and beach area of Bongaree, not far from the bridge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here and are happy to recommend it.

Thank you for our short stay. Our aging puppy was quite rejuvenated. We were relaxed enjoyed the beach walks and the friendly atmosphere at the RSL, including puppy. Accommodation and gardens were perfect for our stay. Looking forward to staying again.

Overall a little disappointed.
Listing says lap pool and spa..there was no spa. Direct front beach access was not available and its not a dog friendly beach.
The 2 single beds are ridiculously high, very hard to get up in to. Would be a hinderance for an older person. Queen bed was good. Lighting in the house needs to be better than it is.
On the plus side, its a great location, clean and well stocked. Great yard for dogs and the pool would be great in warmer weather.

‘Birdsong’ is a home away from home, the tropical garden and patio was a perfect place to relax and is very private. Only a short walk to the beach, RSL and restaurants.

So much care and attention has gone into the set up of this accommodation. Spacious, airy and bright rooms that spill out on to the lovely patio. Short walk to the beach. Very enjoyable stay.

Secluded but within easy distance of all amenities. A brilliant place to recharge the batteries. Not far from the sights or even popping into Brisbane.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s a beautiful property, close to everything. It has very accommodating hosts who were happy to assist where necessary. The space has a great set out, is tastefully decorated, and is wheelchair accessible with a shower and toilet seats, which made a big difference to us (thank you). I can’t praise our stay enough. And very dog-friendly! Thank you for the opportunity to stay here, we highly recommend it.

Lovely property. Great communication with the hosts. Close to off leash beaches and dog-friendly cafes. Stunning decor and surrounding garden. We throughly enjoyed our stay and look foward to a another visit. Our Labrador enjoyed his holiday as well. Highly recommend. Quiet and private location.

We were greeted by the owner who let us into the property and was told to sing out of we needed anything.
We were surprised by how spacious the accommodation was as it looked smaller in the pictures.
The garden was great for the dog to sniff around in and the deck has a nice outlook over the pool.
Unfortunately it was a bit cold for a swim, but maybe next time.
The RSL is an easy 2 min walk away and shops are not much further.
Would recommend and would stay there again.

The living room leading out to the back deck was superb - extremely peaceful and inviting. The decor was delightful with the parquet floors and the leadlighting. A truly lovely stay.

While a very attractively decorated stay, it was also ideally set up for people using a Wheelie Walker or Wheelchair. Very restful surroundings and within easy walking distance to the RSL for someone using a Wheelie Walker. We always used the Courtesy Bus to return though. The single beds are quite high so that would be a consideration for older guests. We can thoroughly recommend and will be returning.

Lovely chilled vibe. Great indoor outdoor living area. Nearby off leash dog beach, which our pup, Freya enjoyed. A beautiful spot to relax and unwind.

A lovely place, we had a relaxing time with comfortable accommodation including an outdoor deck surrounded by tropical gardens and a pool. Handy to waterfront, local cafes and clubs. Friendly hosts

What a good spot. The managers were friendly and loved our little dog. There was a bowl full of water and a spare for food. A real spot to think about life and revive. A very therapeutic holiday.
