Convenient location to get around the east Bay Area. Beautiful view of the city, Angel Island and some of the Golden Gate bridge from the back patio. House was clean and spacious. Good communication from owner.

The house was very spacious and had all we needed. The host was very kind. My family and I had a great time there.

Fassil was a great, responsive host. We rented the upstairs portion of the house which we liked very much. It's quite scenic to overlook the bay. I'd definitely stay here again. One thing- we couldn't use more than one appliance in the kitchen at the same time as that would cause a circuit overload. Overall the house is maintained well.

Once again our stay at Fassil's home was perfect, with the colorful sunsets and comforts of home. We generally made breakfast before our daily outings to visit our extended family in the area. We hope to be back.

A home from home with just about everything you need in the kitchen, lots of dining and sofa space. Keyless Check In was very easy with no chance of losing the keys during your stay. On a clear day the view was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable house with everything we needed for a long weekend in the Bay Area. The furniture and the beds were comfortable. We especially loved the deck, the cool evening breeze and the view from the dining room while we ate. The owner is very accomodating and responsive. We would stay there again.

This property was perfect for us - my spouse, adult son and my sister and her spouse. We were attending a wedding at a nearby country club and enjoying the region. The rooms had comfortable beds and linens. There were ample towels and washcloths. We generally just ate breakfast there and the kitchen was well-equipped. There was enough hot water for numerous showers (instant demand hot water heater).

This was our first experience and it was great, the views are amazing and the house was perfect for what we needed. Fassil was wonderful and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again for sure!

We were a grandparent couple, a daughter, son-in-law, and their two daughters (12 and 10). 3 bedrooms, 2 baths all located away from the living quarters worked well. Separate area with large screen TV great for the kids. The view from dining, living, and deck of SF Skyline, GG Bridge, Angel Island, Raccoon Strait, Mt. Tamalpais can't be better. Owner/host very responsive, and helpful.

Fassil's place is a lovely, quiet, and spacious home perfect for our family trip to the San Francisco area. There's even a great view of the Bay area. It was a luxury to have this much space for our family and in particular our daughter to convalesce in from her surgery. The kitchen is well equipped and to our surprise even had an excellent blender which came in very handy for preparing smoothies as part of the liquid diet requirement for our daughter. Thanks Fassil.

We had a lovely stay here. Our daughter graduated this year and we wanted to be in Berkeley for the celebration. It was an easy (and beautiful) drive from the house to campus. The house was clean and spacious. We cooked breakfast and ate dinner in the house while we were there. We especially enjoyed the large dining table. We were able to enjoy the views as we sat at the table.

Nice big house but like most houses on rental sites it needs some care. Kitchen could use some work, not enough glasses. TP or napkins. Owner did bring some napkins when we said something. He was attentive. There were 2 glasses for a three bedroom house. Needed more blankets. And light bulbs burned out all over the house.

This is a large, comfortable house on a hillside with a sunny deck that overlooks SF Bay with views of SF, Marin County, Bay Bridge. There is a gorgeous park nearby (wildcat canyon) with short hikes with amazing 360 views over the entire Bay Area. Inside the house, there are multiple sitting areas with couches and two large separate dining areas. Bedrooms are quiet and nicely separated from the living area. Beds are very comfortable. The Wifi is fast. The owner/manager is very responsive and helpful.

Had a wonderful time, and the host was so helpful. I don’t believe he could have been any nicer. With all the directions, places of interest and what time to leave so you can beat most of the traffic.

This is a lovely spacious home with an open floor plan. Fassil was very friendly and easy to reach with any questions we may have had. There are many windows and sliders to keep the house airy and cool. Wonderful San Fran skyline view from deck when "Karl the Fog" is not wreaking havoc on the area. Would certainly stay here again.

This property was very comfortable. Spacious and user friendly. Property manager was helpful and readily available to answer any questions. I was with my family and found it gave everyone the space they needed About 40 minutes from San Fran by car. We used Uber most of the time.

El Cerrito was an ideal location to stay during our 9 day visit to the Bay Area. We had 5 in our party and the three bedrooms were perfectly adequate. The house has plenty of living space and a beautiful view of San Francisco and the Bay when the fog lifts. The kitchen is fully equipped. If you are touring the area, Napa and Sonoma wine country is a short 50 minute drive. About the same to downtown San Francisco. The owner, Fassal, was very helpful and told us about a new passenger Ferry service from El Cerrito/Richmond to the Embarcadero with a beautiful tour of the. Bay. The first two days of our visit, the area was under an extreme heat wave. Since very few of the houses there are air conditioned, the temperature in the house was very uncomfortable. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would have been helpful for the rare times when this extreme heat occurs. Only other negative was the poor condition of the outdoor furniture on the patio. All in all, though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

The front garden area was a good way to get out of the wind and into the sunshine. Super views from the back. We enjoyed the spacious common area for eating, playing cards and conversation with family.

We were in CA for Berkeleys graduation. The house worked out well and travel time to Berkeley wasn’t bad as we could use residential roads and avoid the interstate. House was large, beds were comfortable. We were near Safeway, so cooked quite a few meals. There were various oils, some spices, some coffee left from other visitors, which was appreciated. I did write home owner about lack of mixing bowls and cookie sheets, so hopefully future visitors will have a little more to cook with. There was dishwasher and laundry soap available, as well as shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms. The table sizes were nice for card playing and eating. Quiet neighborhood, close to a BART station. Good neighborhood walking. All in all a very good stay.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love the spaciousness of this house. Fassil is aan excellent host and responds to all our questions and issues Immediately. We had a lovely week. The three gedroomd and 2 bathrooms Made it possible to have family over and we were able to give diner parties. Very clean and well kept.

Surprisingly easy to find, this home provided us with a perfect base to visit our son's family for the holidays. We appreciated having two dining tables for food and crafts. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view was lovely. We will look forward to returning when we get the chance.

Lovely, roomy, well appointed home in nice neighborhood with a complete unobstructed view of SF, the Golden Gate and Mt. Tamalpais. The owner is very gracious and accommodating. Lots of room for a family to spread out. 5-10 minutes drive to restaurants, shopping, BART, Tilden Park, Wildcat Canyon where my son ran on the trails. It would be perfect for warmer weather when you can take advantage of the terrace and patio.

We (four adults and one pre-teen) had a very nice experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The appliances were in excellent condition. The house was showing its age with a number of little things that could be repaired or replaced, but nothing that impeded the enjoyment of our stay. Shower stalls were small, making it a bit of a challenge for those of us taller than 6 feet. There was an issue with the door locking mechanism, but Fassil was quick to replace the unit, and he responded quickly to our questions.

The property was very spacious, but somewhat dated. Beds were very comfortable, and appliances were modern and worked well. The grounds were not well kept, but that was not a problem for us. Also, the property was in need of some maintenance, but nothing that affected our overall experience. We left the property almost 2 weeks ago exactly as it was when we arrived, so I am awaiting a refund of the damage deposit - haven't heard anything regarding this matter as of yet.
