Rustige plek aan een mooie tuin, waar we ook mochten zitten. Veel parkeerruimte.

We konden bij aankomst de ingang niet goed vinden omdat we via een andere route aankwamen dan in de omschrijving van de host. Veel trappen met ongelijke treden om van parkeerplaats bij appartement te komen (we hadden een senior bij ons die daar wat moeite mee had)

Parking

Riccardo was a helpful hoist. We arrived and couldn't get the key box to work so he drove from Lisbon immediately to help us. The garden is so lovely and the views were wonderful.

There was a strong drain smell which was unpleasant. We were told it was due to the wind and a problem in all the old properties in the area but I wonder if anything could be done because it does spoil things a bit.

Stunning views of the hills and mountains, trees and plants and gardens everywhere, endless trails winding through the woods, dog-friendly accommodation, a bottle of local wine upon arrival, this might be the best guest stay I've had anywhere, especially for the money. I mean, wait, nevermind, it was terrible, please stop booking it six months in advance so we can go back. What a great spot.

This has nothing to do with the apartment itself, but Colares is super sleepy, especially in the early summer when we went. Aside from the Hopsin brewpub, which is great, there aren't a ton of places to eat. But there are some, and what's there is good.

Beautiful and cozy environment outdoors and indoors. The many clever design details, from the cork that makes it so warm on the cool autumn nights to custom furniture pieces. And the host is awesome!

There really wasn't anything we could think of that would have made it better. We were looking for a comfortable cozy place near the center and greenery. So it was perfect.

Easy check-in. Great location between Sintra and the coast. Good communication from Ricardo who was very friendly. We hired bikes from Ricardo and they were great quality and perfect for riding to the coast.

The cooking facilities were more basic than we expected.

It was just perfect

Quiet. Basic needs fulfilled.
