The room wasn’t clean. The staff yelled at me because I arrived late although I wrote to them about my flight delay.
They didn’t leave me any key or the pass code of the safe and on top of that they yelled at me for arriving late.

property was not according to what was agreed
I book the stay with payment at the property and mentioned that I will arrived at 11 PM.
Even so I just received an message on booking that reception is closed at that time. after several message on booking and try to call property they told me if I want to arrive at that hour i have to pay in advance. I try again to call to provide card details and several call when I got phone closed several times by reception I managed to pay in advance and get the code of the seif to enter.
when i arrived in the room the was a big smell of dampness in the room. the next morning when I took a shower all water went inside the room.

The two ladies in the morning were nice.
Breakfast was fine.
I was tolerating the poor service by the staff, but one lady crossed the line when, to give me the invoice, she went to my room, knocked the door and inmidiatly after, using another key, SHE OPENED THE DOOR. I was walking towards the door to open it from inside and she just opened it. This is unacceptable! It is not only about safety but also about privacy. When I told her that she couldn't open the door just like that, she didn't seem to care at all, just had a fake smile and closed it again. When I complained about this with the other two women the day after, either they did not understand me, or they did not think it was a relevant complaint.
Also, but less important compared to the privacy violation mentioned above, there were no dark curtains, so the light woke me up at 5 am.

Disgusting black mold around the shower, everything in the room felt like last renovation was 40 years ago . Cracks in the lower part of the wall and dirty spots in all corners. I was happy not to find any bugs.

no cleanliness. no soap in the toilet. no facilities for tea coffee etc. broken and outdated table in the room. if we complained the lady in reception was aggressive and loud mouthed.
they don’t change the linen for my entire five days of stay. even used glasses were not cleaned.

Room was very spacious and I loved the decor, very special interiors; The house is a lovely old villa. The neighbourhood is green with quite a few nice restaurants and cafes.
Breakfast was surprisingly good considering the inexpensive accomodation. Very friendly people running it.
Pillows too fat 😊. Bathroom a bit dated but fine.

furniture: beds, 1 sofa 1 desk with chair and 1 plus broken chair...
Toilet OK. Bathroom, Okay, but sometimes you have to clean the tiles in the shower too ...

The hotel charged us twice. One rate was charged through booking.com, but when we entered, teh hotel maanger asked us to pay again. After finding out that we were charged twice, we contacted hotel staff. We went back to the hotel and left the phine number wwith hotel staff, tried per phne call more than once - all to no avail.

Very welcoming and friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
Wifi was a bit slow, but still functional.
