We came to Bayfield purposefully after the AppleFest to avoid some of the crushing crowds. We appreciated the text that notified us of an early check-in opportunity but we had some stops on the road, so didn’t get there in time to take advantage of that. The communication emails prior to the trip were very concise and nicely organized. The property is well represented in the VRBO listing. There were no surprises, and we were quite pleased wiith everything. We wanted a place that was fairly spacious yet somewhat private and close to downtown, and all of these features were provided by our stay at the Carriage House. We appreciated the off street parking and the full featured kitchen was wonderful. The space was cozy, yet spacious at the same time. We were able to relax and really enjoy our stay. My wife and I would stay there again when/if the opportunity arises.

We felt like we found a great place to stay for the annual open water swim. Great location, parking, and all of the essentials you would need. We had small kids and took them to the library around the corner.

Had a one day conference and wanted to add some relaxing time with my wife. This was very comfortable. Location is amazing, neighborhood feel yet right around the corner from an amazing ice cream place, 4 blocks from the marina and everything in town is less than a 15 minute walk. The unit is very cute. Loved having a kitchen area and everything was clean. While it could word work for up to 4 people, I think it is best for 2 people. I would stay here again.

Very cute, clean and comfortable. Centrally located if you want to do in town stuff (we didn’t). Missed on a couple of counts where you can see some unrepaired water damage and bathroom fans not working. Kitchen accoutrements were a bit sparse so we did only minimal meal prep. Overall though, a great spot for a couple to get away.

Great location very close to everything.

My wife and kids had a great time with this location. Almost everything in town is a short walk. Only used the vehicle twice while we were there. Smart TV allowed us to access all of our preferred content for late night family time. The kitchen was just right for preparing meals if we didn't feel like going out. I would for sure stay here again!

Clean, accessible, owner available; perfect for two adults but two more would be possible. Charming facility and Bay Field is amazing.

The carriage house was a great choice for our trip! It's a beautiful property with a full kitchen. Everything is clean and well maintained. It was perfect for my wife and I, but might have felt a little crowded for 4 people. Saying that it's close to everything is not an exaggeration! There's a hiking trail 2 blocks away, and the downtown shops are about the same distance. The ferry dock isn't much further away. Seeing how fast the available parking fills up on the weekends made me appreciate this even more. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Carriage House. It's location is perfect, off street parking, and it has a fully kitchen. We would stay here again!

We were so impressed with this sweet place. Centrally located in the heart of Bayfield. It was a perfect escape that allowed us to slow down and enjoy the area and amazing sights.

The property is very centrally located and walking distance to all restaurants, shops, and the ferry stop. It was very clean with a great little kitchen.

We enjoyed our extended weekend here. Cozy quarters. Easy to get to ferry to Madeline Island. Wonderful town with quaint little shops and food options. We especially enjoyed The Candy Shoppe with their wonderful choices of ice cream.

We had a great stay in Bayfield and the property was just the right size for the 3 of us on our weekend girls trip. The location was great as it was only blocks from restaurants, coffee, shops, and the food mart. We would highly suggest kayaking through the "sea caves" with Krek& Trail, dinner at the Copper Trout, and the iced mocha at Gale Force Coffee is amazing!

This cleverly adapted lower level efficiency was perfect for our stay in Bayfield last week. It has a full kitchen, comfortable shower bath, and a queen bed with a folding futon couch. All is Bright, cherry and very much of the place. I have stayed at one of the Armstrongs’ other condos, so this was not surprising. Look no further for a centrally located rental with east walking access to all the city and county have to offer.

This is a very place for a couple, very inviting and cozy. We would go back there any time!

The cottage house was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was impeccably clean. The bed was really comfortable. Great location; you can walk everywhere from here. Wi-fi was spotty, but I’d advise *against* contacting the property manager.
