Very comfortable and cosy. Very clean and lots of towels etc. Nice pool, plenty of great loungers and shades.

The lack of Wi-Fi and it’s just that bit too far to walk to Skala beach and town so a car or good walking shoes are essential.

Good location surrounded by greenery and nature about 10 mins drive from centre, although a little too far to walk to the beach in the heat. Lovely pool that was regularly cleaned and good facilities. Loved the swinging sun bed!

The entire experience was wonderful. The villa is great, the location is fab and Skala is a beautiful place to visit. Beaches are in the main covered in pebbles, but Kamina beach is only 10 mins in a taxi and it is a safe, shelving, sandy bech, great for kids and adults alike.

Beds were very hard .

The location of the villa was good. We had not hired a vehicle and found the walk into the centre of Skala to be 45-55 mins. The villa itself was in a very peaceful location and we were never aware of other people or nearby traffic. We made good use of the kitchen facilities and found the sun loungers very comfortable too. All bedrooms were of a good size. Top marks for cleanliness and although we only stayed for one week, the beds and towels were changed halfway through our stay.

The hill leading up to our villa was incredibly steep and certainly would be unsuitable for elderly or less able people. Occasionally we found a taxi driver willing to take us to the top of the driveway but most were reluctant to do so. The only issue we found with the villa itself was that there was a foul smell coming from the drain in the bathroom downstairs which we were never able to mask?

From start to end our holiday was fantastic, the communication from the owners was quick and friendly. The lady that looks after the villas was lovely! We stayed in Artemus, it was spotlessly clean, well furnished, secluded with fantastic balconies and a beautiful pool area. The pool was heated which made it useable for our entire holiday despite being very late in the season. A hire car is a must to explore the island, although we walked the steep drive on many occasions it was a workout! Skala is a really friendly place with lots of restaurants and tavernas, all of the locals are genuinely pleased to see you. We love Kefalonia and would definitely recommend this Villa.

Stunning views over the sea. Beautiful pool and well equipped villa. A perfect escape to peace and quiet. Will be back!
