It looked like Fawlty Towers.
The room was nothing like the pictures on booking.com. There was massive holes in the carpet and no door handle on the inside of the toilet so you couldn’t get out. Bed was very small and mattress felt very old. The room was like a box. Random hanger on the window curtain rail. It was damp as well.

The location
The hotel is very rundown, the beds are not comfy, no coffee in the room on the tea caddy, the walls were filthy in the room and looked like it had something sprayed all over it. went to try and find a staff member to get a pillow for my sons bed as he didnt have one and no one to be found.

It was peaceful during the day, although not always at night. I think there was an incident of some kind in the early hours of one morning and there was a lot of banging and talking, with sometimes the sound of water. No explanation was given for this despite waking me at about 0300hrs. I enjoyed being left in peace and quiet during the day as I was working without interruption.
The place could have been much cleaner and the towels were far from white. There were little niggles like the mattress squeaking every time I moved, the kettle wouldn't fit under the tap to put water into it and the tray the cups etc were on was pretty mucky-looking. Luckily I had my own cup with me. There was nowhere in the shower to stand toiletries so had to stand shower gel and shampoo on the floor while showering. All in all there was no clean, fresh feeling to either the room or the hotel but it was a very low price so didn't expect the Savoy.

A little dated, but friendly staff.
No tv temote, would have liked tea and milk renewed daily.

Close to the town centre lot pubs around the second room we was put in 10 times better all I can say
Staff and cleaners very polite apart from the receptionist very very rude! When I pointed out few bad things in the first room just basically called me a liar
I rang the owner she soon sorted my problems move to another room such a pleasant lovely lady
The receptionist very nicely fake after that didn't let it ruin my holiday

Can't think of anything
Really old and outdated. Parking is a nightmare. The room I stayed in was tiny and stunk of cigarettes I had to buy an air freshener and even that wouldn't cover it up. There was cigarette ash on the freshly made bed so could have been the cleaner. The bed was terrible after 4 nights I was in agony. There was blood stains on one of the pillow cases. No heating and I kept getting woke up because you can literally hear everyone and everything. I wish I seen the reviews before I booked. Never again.

Location was the only plus side.
Size of rooms, Booked certain beds not given. Overall cleanness of rooms was poor mold on windows etc. Very rundown. Staff making accusations about noise but when confronted and we offered that we leave and take a refund for the 2nd night ,changed story seemed like just wanted to have a moan. Just avoid
2.8
staff very good and room was very worn and bed not comfortable but it was spotlessly clean
the street wasn’t in a good area but the outside of the property was well kept
2.8
location was great - very close to beach and walking distance to town centre
Very dated accommodation - triple room was very small - not much room for the 3 of us to move around. Very little storage space, no mirrors at all apart from one little mirror in bathroom. Shower door was stiff with scaly shower heads. Rooms not cleaned unless you requested it. No options offered to have breakfast if required. Manager was not accommodating with a lot of issues

There was nothing to like about this hotel.
It was very outdated, cold and feels run down, booked a 1 night stay for 2 adults and 1 child but ended up with three single beds, no table, kettle was just left on some side board, no accessible plug socket, no tv remote;only to be told the following morning that there wasn’t one. The bathroom looks and feels dirty, finished loo rolls we’re just left on the floor. I could go on forever

Nothing. There was nothing to like
What did I like Is the question.
I wouldn't have paid £10pn to stay here let alone the £75 pn I did pay and I know it costs even more then that to stay here sometimes
Not enough parking , no receptionist- you have call someone
It's old, it's dated.
I was given a very dark dinjy room.
The bathroom was disgusting. It wasn't clean. There was mould on the ceiling and on the tiles.
The bed was so uncomfortable, it was like laying on springs and when I went to get in it, the sheets were stained , the under sheets and mattress protector were stained with blood and whatever else there was hair in the bed and on top of the under pillows. I called the number at reception and the person on the phone said there's no one in the hotel to help and I'd have to sleep in the dirty sheets and wait until the next day!! I was absolutely disgusted!!!
So I refused to stay there . !
I contacted booking.com who contacted owner who agreed to refund my 2nd night there but not my 1st as I had opened the door and actually been in the room, so I paid for a room I didn't stay in and then had to go round Bournemouth at 10.30 at night with my son trying to find somewhere else to stay and then had to pay out for another hotel room.
I really do wish I'd read the reviews before booking. It looks nice in the pics but massively false advertising and I hope booking.com takes it off their site.
