Superb dinner at the restaurant alongside, and a classically generous Austrian breakfast; decently straightforward bedroom, with nice terrace, and astonishingly fast wifi.

The hotel comes across as rather bland, with some disinterested staff and bedrooms due a refurbishment. We knew to expect a busy road alongside, but it was rather difficult to walk anywhere.

Absolutely loved our stay. I wish more hotels would be like this. Service and comfort are number one. Location - Perfect, just a few minutes from the highway on one side, yet surrounded by mountains on the other side, and near a lake. Rooms - Spacious with a thoughtful layout. The rooms seemed also suitable for people with mobility issues. I especially appreciated extra storage space in the bathroom. The view of the surrounding mountains was nice. Facilities - Again, everything so thoughtful. The spa area was wonderful. The saunas and showers are comfy and offer enough privacy if you want it. The relaxation room was exactly that, I could've gladly stayed there overnight if someone asked me to. The game room with pool tables and board games is a really nice touch. My BF and I had a lot of fun. Great idea for guests wanting to stay in and just relax. Staff - Everyone was kind and explained everything we needed to know right from the start. All together a great deal if you find yourself in the area.

Just a suggestion, but I would've appreciated if breakfast foods were all marked with what they were. Otherwise I have to open everything and then ask a lot about what the foods are.

Fantastic location if you arrive by car. The carpark is free of charge and there were not any problem to find park place. The hotel is very good starting point if you want to buy something (Billa is within 3 minutes walk) or to go on excursion. There's a discount petrol station nearby. Villach is only 10 ten minutes by car, the lake is 20 minutes walk. Every room has a beautiful view to the mountains. As we had west front rooms they were very warm by the afternoon but the air condition worked well. The staff was kind.

Though the hotel is well located it's very noisy till midnight. The rooms were OK but a bit of out-dated.

Though the restaurant food was truly fantastic the service was a little slow and chaotic. WLAN / wireless could be a little stronger in the rooms, common hotel room problem.

I booked it for location (being just off the motorway) and price. Both lived up to expectations. in addition I was impressed by the restaurant. excellent breakfast, although the scrambled eggs had congealed, and a simple but surprisingly good dinner.

Perfect place to stay. They have private parking for free, they are pet friendly. Breakfast is very rich, they have everything in the breakfast, there is a restaurant where you can eat the lunch and the dinner...

There is nothing happening in surroundings (walking distance) during winter. Ok, there is restaurant in the building, but if you want to go out for a drink or eg. kebap/pizza/wiennerschnitzel you should take yor car or public bus.
