Great place. It is QUIET. I loved it, but make sure this is what you want! The staff is really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fresh food and deliscious. It was easy to drive to beaches, restaurants, etc. The pool area is, of course, beautiful and peaceful.

wonderful relaxing location in the country but only 13 minutes to the beach. we loved the decor and especially the breakfast room, fresh yogurt, eggs , many bread choices and a beautiful selection of cut fruit.Thank you Tess for your warm smile and fantastic breakfast!!

Our hosts, Ana and Jorge were amazing. They couldn't do enough for us. It was if we were part of their family. We arrived late and were not able to find the restaurant that was recommended. When we returned to our room without having dinner, Anna insisted on bringing dinner, delicious soup, salad and fresh fruit, to our room for us to enjoy on our outdoor patio. Breakfast was wonderful and we hope to return on our next trip to Portugal. This is not a fancy resort, but rather a farmhouse-like setting in the country 20 min. south of Comporta.

Ponte Pedra Melides Country House Is a complete gem, we feel so lucky that we ended up there for the second half of our vacation. The stress immediately melted away when we arrived, and the property is comfortable, tranquil, and beautifully decorated. The hosts were welcoming from the start, explained where everything was and gave us recommendations for beaches and restaurants around the area. We each had our own beds for the pool, and pool towels, and there were beach umbrellas to borrow, as well as yoga mats and blocks. The breakfast was outstanding, with options for everyone. And the rooms were lovely, comfortable, clean, and with an amazing private outdoors space for sitting and relaxing. We really can’t say enough good things about the place and the people who run it. We wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely book!

Ana, Jorge and their staff are truly welcoming and always ready to help. The property is charming, our room was big and airy. The fact that this is an adult only accomodation makes it quiet and relaxing. We would definitely come back!

Little piece of paradise! a great welcome, facilities are amazing and in the middle of nature. we got great advice of where to go for dinner, walks, beach. The decoration is great with a lot of taste.

We arrived and felt like home. Its an awesome place to stay and relax. The rooms are more than unique and the breakfast is extraordinary. The staff is doing their best to make you feel comfortable. There are a lots of beautiful beaches around to discover- but you need a car. We would go back there anytime.
