Our second stay at Brees cottage this year. Suited us perfectly because we just needed a little place that was comfortable for the two of us and had easy access to the beach. Bree is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. More than happy to stay there again. Definitely our go to.

We enjoyed our off grid stay at the cottage. The cottage is exactly as described. Very clean and tidy and has all required basics for a relaxing getaway. Bree was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

An oldie but a goodie! 🌴🌿 What an amazing private little piece of paradise, with walking access less than 5 mins to the beach, No drive by cars so very safe for the kids even with a sneaky ocean view to enjoy our happy hour drinks each afternoon. Loved our stay and will be back again. Thanks Bree for sharing your little hidden gem.

No doors, tiny rooms, no real entertaining area. To be fair, it is an old property and for its age I guess it did the job. We were not aware it would be soo small with no doors and snoring kept us all up. It was clean and usable.

Good location. Property manager Bree is very helpful and friendly. Cottage is clean and comfortable enough however some ceiling fans would be appreciated as it gets very hot at night with no breeze. Good fridge and separate chest freezer to keep your food cold. Could not get the oven or grill to work and was frustrated there were no tongs anywhere we could find, otherwise cuutlery and dishes selection good and BBQ cooked well enough. Would stay again but next time I'll bring a fan.

Lovely surroundings. Bree is a welcoming hostess, with good local knowledge of flora and fauna. Great to be able to see native bees, birds, and lizards.

It was off grid and easy to live in.Bree was great to deal with and generous with info about the island, bait and anything else we needed to enjoy our stay. I recommend this groovy little cottage to anyone.

Four years ago my wife and I stayed at Bree’s cottage in Happy Valley with my brother & sister-in-law from UK and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were impressed by Bree’s thoughtfulness for her guests. So this year when our daughter and two children living in UK suggested a visit to Fraser Island we immediately thought back to our previous visit and were delighted to find Bree’s cottage was available at a price which compared very favourably with other advertised accommodation. We were not disappointed. Bree welcomed us back on our arrival, gave us an overview of the property and area and, given our two grandchildren were there, ensured that any safety issues were covered. The property is basic, but clean and good value as a base for exploring and enjoying Fraser Island. We knew from previous experience that Bree is concerned for the welfare of her guests and is knowledgeable about the area, providing valuable information and advice. The same applied this visit. The fact that Bree’s property next door was occupied by a family there for the ninth time sums it up — basic but sufficient accommodation with a welcoming introduction and personal attention to her guests.

Great location but property is tired and needs renovation. Having said that for a fishing trip stay it's fine. Would not stay here with wife. Bree the manager was very helpful.

Our stay at the cottage was amazing. So simple and prefect. If your truly a Fraser Island person you will love the cottage . But if you want 5 star Gold Coast, stay at the Gold Coast . Bree was so amazing and her place reflects the true meaning of being with one of the island . Thank you Bree for being a amazing host and giving us the chance to experience one of the last Fraser Island beach holidays cottages experiences.

Great communication with Bree and she checked in on us to ensure we were comfortable, definitely recommend for location, clean basic accommodation.

Good value for money - this quaint little fishing shack was a great jumping off point to explore K'gari. It was brilliant to have a well equipped kitchen to cook our own meals and a outside cooker for some lovely bake ups. Communication with the host was great and she was very generous in helping us to get the cooker working etc, We enjoyed our stay.

Read the reviews I did. We stayed a week, location is fantastic. Clean enough, take your own linen and food. Utensils provided.

An original Fraser Island holiday shack that was perfect for our stay. Great for 2 people in the most amazing location. Hostess was helpful and accommodating thanks for sharing your place in paradise with us.

Bree was wonderful to deal with, she even checked with us during our stay to make sure all was good.

Absolutely perfect for three blokes going fishing for a few days. Bree was very accommodating when we arrived and made sure we had everything we required. Very easy access to the beach and general store. No TV but that was all part of the experience. We all came back totally relaxed.
