The kitchen was especially nice and roomy which was a plus for us as we tend to cook 2 meals a day at vacation rental properties. The kiddos loved the pool table upstairs. The location was perfect, not directly in town but close enough to enjoy shopping and the rodeo! We took advantage of the discounts they offer through local companies for white water rafting and an ATV tour. Our only complaint that absolutely cannot be helped by VRC was the amount of mosquitoes every night. We would have lovedd to use the deck space more at night for games, but even with citronella candles and coils going, we could not stay outside for long. I personally liked not having to do the long list of "take off the sheets, take all trash to dumpster, sweep floors, etc." upon checking out that most rental companies ask you to do. Check in and out were easy and communication was encouraged by VRC. We had a great stay and will book again with them in the future!

A view from every direction - beautiful tall green trees and hummingbirds zipping by. The porch was nice to sit and listen and watch nature - hawks, hummingbirds, robins deer, butterflies, rabbits, woodpeckers etc. with the lake in the background!The house itself had plenty of space for our party of 7. The pool table was frequently enjoyed by us all - and large living room treated us with a family movie night! We were looking for a cabin with the "mountain top" feel but still have access to internet - and 26 Big Pine Trail was a home run! Many wonderful memories made during our stay in Durango.

We loved the property. Big beautiful home. Nice big deck and the furniture was new and comfortable. Beds where comfortable too. My only complaint is that I could have used an egg pan and some small pots. There were lots of big pots but not any small or medium ones. And lots of frying pans but not any with Teflon. Also the drive up from the major road is long and extremely bumpy. The house is beautiful and I would definitely stay again!!

In fact, when we arrived we called to see if there was another location we could stay at. They had 57 inches of show within the 2 days before we arrived. Definitely need snow tires, not just 4 wheel drive. The house was amazing and nicely kept. We had everything we needed.

My Wife, Son, and I came for a few days looking to get some R&R in the mountains. The house looked brand new and was very clean and modern. We loved the huge patio and the views it provided of the cliffs during the day and the stars at night. Pool table was a fun bonus once the sun went down. Town is a bit of a drive, but the scenery along the way is fabulous so you don't even notice. Would definitely come back here again with more friends or family to take advantage of all the rooms and extra beds. There would be plenty of room for several more people. Only downside was beds were a bit firm for our liking, may suggest to owners to do a soft layers in there to add a little squish.

We loved this house! Stayed with 4 adults and 4 children ages 9-11. The views from the deck were gorgeous. Kitchen was well stocked. Kids loved the bunk room and the pool table. The house is very close to the ski resort but a good 30 minutes from town, so had to be strategic about planning our day. Would definitely recommend it.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the home as well how well stocked the kitchen was for all our meal. The outside deck wrapped around two sides of the house giving us options for taking in the beauty. There were two master bedrooms in the house along with another queen bedroom. The fourth bedroom was a bit small and set up with bunk beds that would be great for younger kids, but we had to use that space for my daughter and her fiance, and it was a bit uncomfortable for them. There is no A/C in the house, but that was no problem at all. We loved opening the windows in the evening after the sun went down which cooled the house quickly. There were many fluffy blankets all around the house to cuddle up in while sitting out on the deck. Communication with Vacation Rental was informative and they responded quickly to our questions. We would absolutely love to return to this property again soon and also use Vacation Rental for other trips.

We absolutely loved the house! Plenty of room for the three couples traveling. The kitchen was amazing with high end appliances and cooking tools! Everything was clean and tidy. The only negative was the construction noise from a home close by, but that was not the fault of the owner or manager. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area!!

The house was just as described and provided all the comforts of home. It's a great spot for multiple families and it had everything we needed. It's close proximity to Purgatory allowed us more time on the mountain and less time driving. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't mind trying it out in the summer next time!
