The stay was alright in retrospect, but we were pretty salty about the posting saying there is a hot tub when there hasn’t been one there in 5 years. Also the pool was supposed to be heated but that too didn’t work. Please amend the amenities section of this listing as I made my choice based on false info.

This condo is conveniently located with a pharmacy, supermarket, and restaurants within walking distance. We had a nice visit, and this was a comfortable place to stay. it is within a short drive or a walk to the beach.
The condo was mostly clean and in good repair. The glass top range had not been cleaned recently. Burners had built-up dirt around the edges and the surface of one burner appeared to be badly damaged. The appliances all showed stains, and the dishwasher was not functional and was not anchored to the countertop. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty.
Basic supplies were lacking, i.e. there was only a partial roll of toilet paper; a partial roll of paper towels; no tissues; dish towels, kitchen sponges, dishrags, extra kitchen trash bags, or kitchen stove top cleaner were provided. While we expect to purchase/replenish some supplies when renting a condo for a week, we had to purchase all of these the day we arrived.
The washer/dryer worked well and were an incredible convenience that we have not had in many places we have rented. The heating system was efficient and worked well to provide heat, but it was noisy in some rooms.
The living room was comfortable and the electric fireplace was cozy. There were no small tables or a coffee table on which to safely place drinks and other items.
Overall, it was a convenient location and a comfortable place to stay. We would recommend it to others and rent again.

This property was ideal for our family all around. It’s proximity to restaurants, Wells Beach, and nearby sights was perfect. The extra amenities like outdoor pool and clubhouse were also a valued part of our vacation. The home itself was quite comfortable for our family of three!

Came with my husband for a long weekend. The place is so clean and adorably decorated! The clubhouse was wonderful (ping pong, air hockey, and comfy couches). We had the clubhouse and pool to ourselves multiple times. This property is the perfect location for everything in Wells!

Long weekend getaway
Spent a long weekend in Wells and this condo was in a great location for our short visit. Walking distance or a short drive (a few minutes) to everything we did. Beach during the day and pool pretty much to ourselves in the evenings.
The condo was comfortable for our party of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Jenn and Mike were very organized for check-in and check-out and things to do/places to eat during our stay.
We'd book again for another long weekend for sure!

Perfect!
This property was clean and quaint! It perfectly fit us and out two adult children. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with when a question arose. We shopped several times at the Walgreens just steps away and enjoyed the many and varied restaurants nearby. The beaches were a short drive away and we loved our beach days. I highly recommend Mike and Jenn’s property for your stay with family and friends!

Great family sized condo
This property was perfect for our little family of 4! Originally booked for July 2020, but COVID forced us to postpone a year. The owners were very responsive from the get-go, answering any questions we had, and check in was a super easy process. Access to a washer and dryer right in the unit was a blessing, especially with a toddler and baby! Beds were very comfortable, and the AC's quickly cooled the unit after returning from a day out in the hot sun. The location can't be beat. Conveniently right off the main road, and centrally located to everything! There is slight traffic noise as to be expected being so close to the main road, but really only noticeable when a loud motorcycle or emergency vehicle goes by. Upon arrival I was a little worried about potential noise from neighbors, the unit upstairs, and the nearby campground but we literally had ZERO issues. Not a sound or disturbance at all, it was great. We loved our Wells vacation!

Disappointed
The air conditioning in the master bedroom smells musty. The washing machine has mold in it, there are ants, when the camp ground in the back of the condo burns a fire, the smell comes into the condo through the air conditioning system. The floors were very dirty when we got there.

Perfect Stay!
This was a last minute decision and we could not have been happier with it. The location was perfect for grabbing take out or for going to the beach. Located near all the main areas, we loved this condo. The pool was a quick walk, the area was quiet and the condo was exactly as advertised. The beach accessories were great to help having to bring all that with us. The condo was perfectly sized for our small family. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly go again. It was great for a socially distant getaway.

Barefoot Cottage, Unit 121
We had a wonderful stay in this unit. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The pool was a nice break from the beach! People were pleasant and accommodating! The location was great because you went out the entrance and straight across onto Mile Road. This was a straight shot to the beaches and you could avoid the traffic on Route 1! We truly hope to return next year to the same condo!

Great place to stay!!
We had a terrific stay at the condo. The condo is tastefully decorated and clean. There were nice “little touches” left for us, including a nice bottle of wine, a welcome book with lots of great tips, and a toiletry basket with sample size essentials. The intersection with stop lights , where the condo is located , was a blessing as the traffic can be difficult to pull out into. The pool was nice. My only negative comments would be that the dumpster is pretty far away. The pots and pans in the condo are in need of replacing. Overall, a great place!!

Excellent week! Great location!
We love to come to Wells every summer. This location was great, super clean and easy to get to. The owners were quick with responses. They left us toiletries, coffee pods and a bottle of wine! Plenty of linens to use made it easier for us! Washer and dryer was great to have. The salt water pool was a big hit with our kids. We will definitely be back and want more time there! Highly recommend.

Perfect Vacation Getaway!
We really enjoyed our time in Maine and we loved the condo. Perfect location to get to places to eat and the beach. We loved the beach theme decor which put us in the right mood for our beach vacation as soon as we entered. Great communication with owners and they were very helpful and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Place was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We loved sitting on the deck! We loved going to Congdon's donuts for breakfast. Congdon's after Dark for the food trucks. Yodeling Lobster Pound and Wells Lobster Pound and of course, Scoop Deck for ice cream!! We were there for a wedding so moved to the wedding hotel in Ogunquit for the end of our leg and wished we had just stayed at the Condo. We loved Wells beach so much and Drake Beach. We explored a little bit of York and Ogunquit and they were nice as well but really preferred the Wells area. So happy we found this gem of a vacation spot. Our family had the best time. We would love to come back someday and would definitely stay here again!

Memorial Day Getaway
We had a great time, and felt comfortable where we stayed. We did not get a chance to go to the pool but it looked nice from a distance! The beach isn’t within reasonable walking distance but it’s a short drive and our 10 month old had a great first beach trip!

Clean, bright, well-maintained and homey!
The property and was very clean and well-maintained and the decor was beachy and fun! We were very close to the beach, a Rite-Aid (for last minute runs when we needed something), food shopping, mini-golf, restaurants, Congdon donuts, food trucks, shopping - you name it. Jenn and Mike's thoughtful touches made it feel like home - a bottle of wine, a binder with all the information we needed, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, water for the Kuerig machine and a linen closet full of clean towels and beach towels. It was great having a washer and dryer too. The whole house was full of thoughtful touches and all the supplies to truly make it a home away from home! The pool was great (lots of seating and tables), as was the clubhouse. We spent a couple of cloudy afternoons there playing ping-pong, pool, board games and watching TV waiting for the weather to improve. They even provided a beach cart to help us get all our stuff to the beach as well as a grill for cookouts! The patio set on the porch area was a fantastic spot to hang out or eat outside. As an avid A/C fan, I was happy that the A/C units worked well and kept the house cool even on those crazy hot days. My whole family asked if we could come back next year and stay there again. Clean, great amenities, close to everything.
My family and a friend stayed at this location for a week and it was marvelous. The washer and dryer was a life saver, the whole place was very clean and neat. The on site pool and clubhouse were fantastic! Being located right on a major roadway was great, made getting where we needed to go so easy. Groceries right across the street as well as a movie theater was perfect for the one rainy day we experienced. The beach is just a 2 minute drive which is always nice. Overall I highly recommend this rental and I'll be sure to look here for my next trip to Maine. Thank you all so much for helping make our family vacation so great!

Long weekend escape with the family
Easy walk to Congdon's for dinner at the food trucks and breakfast in the morning.
Nicely appointed 2bd with air conditioning, relaxing living room and deck...and kitchen if you are planning to cook anything. Hannafords is diagonally across Post Rd as is Reny's. Also, easy access next door to Rite Aid for grabbing a soda or ice tea. Perfect place for our family of 4---including a 20y and 17y sons---excellent TV for watching the red sox game.

We loved our stay !
Our family of 4 recently stayed here for 4 nights (me, my husband, and 2 girls ages 8 and 12). We had a blast! We have been coming to Wells for over 10 years now and this has been our favorite place to stay by far. The condo was beautiful and everything was very clean. The location is perfect as it is close to the beach, grocery stores, Rite Aid, and our favorite Wells restaurants and ice cream. The owners were extremely accommodating. We will absolutely request to book again in the future ! Thanks again for a great stay.

We will come back!
We stayed at Mike&Jenn’s home for 5 nights. It is really well located! Close to Wells beach (2 min), Ogunquit (15min) and also York beach (20 min) We loved that there was a Ride Aid just across the street and a Hanafords also. We slept 6: 4 adults and 2 kids and we were really confortable. It is bigger than on the pictures! We did not cook a lot though because we dine mostly at the restaurant and had sandwiches a the beach for lunch. Breakfast time was nice but we ran out of coffee and had to buy two boxes of keurig, we do love coffee!
The owners were really helpfull and even left a beach cart, cooler and beach chairs for us so we can use during our stay. It was clean and well maintained but we had to buy some bleach to clean the laundry machine before we use it. I think you have to make sure it’s dry before closing the front door otherwise meldew acumulates there (thats what I do with my own).
Anyhow, It was clean, close to everything and we will definitely be back!

Great experience, great location!
We’ve been coming to Wells for years and last year found this great condo. We wanted to book it again for our vacation this year, but found out it was undergoing a change of ownership. The new owners, Jenn and Mike were super accommodating during the changeover and made our booking experience incredibly easy. They couldn’t have been kinder in answering all of our pre-trip questions. The location and the provisions were excellent. My husband and I and our two young kids were able to drop our bags and start our vacation right away. The kids loved watching the trolleys from the deck,walking to the pool in the complex and sleeping in the great bunk beds. If you want to be in the center of everything Wells has to offer and know that you are staying in a great place, look no further! Can’t wait to come back next year!
