Great location near glacier road hikes or into Yosemite Valley. Parking, the neighborhood, the deck and yard were a nice luxury staying within the park. Hosts were amazing to deal with and gracious during possible park closure due to government shutdown.

This is a spacious place and more economic than others in the area. The View is Incredible and the cabin has old rustic vibes.

I’ve never seen a more beautiful sunset through the trees than from that back porch! Beds/pillows were comfortable. It is dated, but we enjoyed the rustic feeling for the two nights. Couch newer and comfortable. Spacious master bedroom. Lots of towels. No a/c so a little stuffy, I guess we could have opened the windows but were afraid of bears. Could use a deep cleaning as it was dusty but things that mattered like bathrooms and kitchen were clean. No tv, couldn’t get the Roku working, but we were in the mountains. Overall a nice stay and convenient to the sights of Yosemite!

This home is in the perfect location. The owners communicated well and everything was so easy. This is not a luxury place - more beautiful cabin like, but we had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and was generally clean (a little dusty) - I think expectations may have affected other reviews. The location is perfect looking over part of Yosemite valley - great central location and lots of wildlife (bear, birds) and family time! We loved it!

Needs some maintenance. Refrigerator was not cooling correctly. Off and on problems with cooling. House was hot especially upstairs. Fans helped but not enough. Overall enjoyed our visit. Liked the location.

We enjoyed being within the park and having a kitchen. Lots of windows with beautiful view. Printed directions were helpful, as we had spotty cell service on the way there. Place was not well cleaned (cobwebs, dirty bathroom floor, island had not been cleaned from the prior guests) and is dingy and dated. Kitchen could have been stocked better. For example, only 3 spoons small enough to eat Yoplait. This place was priced lower than other 3 bedroom houses.

Nice cabin with good view

This house was really nice, great view from the back porch. Only about 35 minutes from Yosemite Valley. We will recommend to our friends.

Property location in the Park a BIG plus as no need to go through the Park Gates on a daily basis. Great view off the back deck looking back towards Hwys 120 and 140. House is a bit rustic and dated but everything worked, hot showers and comfortable beds! Host was easy to communicate with, especially snce we had no problems, other than a short power outage most likely due to construction in the neighborhood.

We selected months ago, had contact with the host via email. Responses were very fast, helpful and nice. The house was perfect for our family of three generations.

We were very happy with this home for our stay. It was nice to be close to the valley floor. The kitchen was stocked with dishes needed for our meals, great if you want to cook on your trip. The grill on the deck was used nightly! We would recommend this home!!

Our family of 5 adults stayed here for a few nights in July. It is in a perfect location with under a 30 minute drive into Yosemite Valley. We spent our days hiking and exploring around Yosemite. The beds were super comfortable after hours of hiking! We also appreciated having a washer and dryer to do laundry after hiking in the heat. The view out back from the deck is amazing! Chelsea was always quick to respond to my questions before the trip, and I had so many questions so I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend staying at this property!

This property is in an amazing location. Great access to the park - specifically the valley! View off the deck is beautiful, too. Would book this spot again.

We loved how close the home is to the sights of Yosemite, being located in the Yosemite West community . It takes a bit to get down to the house once you enter the community entrance, but it was worth it... the home feels more connected to the natural scenery. We loved seeing the footprints of wildlife in the snow off the back porch! And the view was so lovely, it made it easier to wake up for early morning outings. The kitchen was well stocked - we found a type of pan for every purpose. The living room and beds were very comfortable. The layout is a bit strange, but as it's an older home that makes sense. We weren't too fond of the very open master bath -- there is no door so privacy with a roommate really isn't possible. That, and the general wear-and-tear of an older home, are the only reasons I deducted a star. Though absolutely the benefits outweigh the minor inconveniences. I would absolutely recommend this home to family and friends. One last note: the artwork in the kitchen, dining and living room area looks to have been completed by the homeowner's family member, which we found a warm and charming addition.

great spot for a Yosemite visit; good base to begin your exploration of the park. some upgrades and renovations would enhance the stay . the upstairs has a great kitchen/common area with nice deck with great view to relax after day in the park. downstairs with 2 large bedrooms has a shared bath awkwardly layed out. manager/owner was fine, communicated and responded when needed. reviews and descriptions were honest and accurate. I would recomend this property.

Lot of small things Need some attention. Screen door as well as sliding glass door off the track. Bathroom fan extremely noisy, we fixed it. Only 3 coffee cups and no trash bags. These are only a few of the things that need some attention! Beds were comfortable and location is good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Staying inside the park was a real bonus this year with Yosemite's reservation system in effect all summer. Everything was great - we would definitely come back!

Back porch is amazing with that cup of coffee. It looks over a valley. No houses obstructing the view. There is a stove in the middle of the house that give this mountain feel. Would rent again!

Outstanding house with all the necessities for visiting Yosemite NP. While a bit dated, it is budget friendly compared to other vacation homes in Yosemite West and truly has everything needed. For sure, I would not hesitate to rent this home again. The view from the balcony was awesome with a nice table and chairs to enjoy the beauty. Highly suggest visiting Glacier Point the early evening from the house. We did so the first day upon arrival and it was nice to easily find parking. The next morning, we arrived at the parking lot for the Sentinel Dome/Taft Point Parking lot at 8 am and there were about 3 spaces left. Communication with the host was excellent. Only suggestion would be a drying rack and a few more hangers for air drying laundry. We really enjoyed our stay!

It's a great location for anyone wanting to explore Yosemite Valley or the Mariposa Grove of sequoias. The home is well-equipped and we were able to find nearly everything we needed for our 5-day stay.

This was a great cabin for our family of five adults. Beautiful view from the deck and close to Yosemite Valley hiking. We only had two days, but we made the most of it The owner was very helpful to me when planning the trip which I really appreciated.

Bears, bears, bears!!! It was awesome! We saw a bear almost every trip from the house to the valley (which wasn't far at all). They never bothered us or our stuff, they were just cool to see in the wild. The location of this home alone made it the best place to stay. I'm glad our original plans were changed and we stayed here instead.

The cabin was the perfect location to access Yosemite. It was rustic and charming and the view from the deck is amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this cabin, super close to the valley and to Glacier Point and was extremely well stocked. Chelsea did an amazing job communicating throughout the process, as COVID regulations changed some aspects of park entrance. The only negative is the bottom master bedroom is quite bright at 530/6am, making sleeping a little difficult. Bring a sleep mask and you’ll be fine!

I enjoyed staying in this location. The big wood stove and great views make this a good winter destination.

Well-stocked, Clean, Warm and Comfortable. Great location for skiing at Badger Pass or visiting Yosemite. Our family of 5 did both, and it couldn't have worked out better for us. Chelsea is a great communicator and everything was as advertised. Look forward to going back again next year. No need to look anywhere else!
