Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. It’s close enough to everything, but also far enough away to be perfectly private. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood, beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked. All I needed that wasn’t there was a dish rag or sponge and I would have loved a mirror in the bedrooms (preferably full-length). Check-in and checkout were a breeze. We arrived 20 minutes early and it was no problem to check in early.

This was my third visit to this property. Great communication before during and after the stay. The house is very close to campus so this 3 bedroom house was perfect for two friends and I rent for the Clemson FSU game. As always the house was very clean and on arrival there was a complimentary bottle of wine and jazz playing. The living room is large and homey. There is huge deck with a grill and outdoor furniture. On the second floor are three bedrooms with king beds. In addition to the full bath on the first floor, the second floor bath had a washer and dryer. I highly recommend this property.

You would never guess that you are less than two miles from Clemson University. Very nice area. The airport is not a concern at all. And the hosts are fantastic. Available, but not intrusive. The house is exactly as advertised. We would stay again.

I truly felt as though I were at my home away from home. The property was clean, cool, cozy and convenient for a weekend getaway. Well appointed and clean.

We rented this lovely house for my daughter’s freshman move into Clemson back in August of 2018. Rented it again for graduation this weekend. Once again greeted with jazz music playing from the smart TV and a bottle of vine. The place was immaculate. We were able to have a small graduation party for 10 on the huge back deck. The gas grill was great and the kitchen had all the bowls, pots, and utensils for me to make a big graduation dinner. Thanks again Tookie for your hospitality and sharing your lovely Clemson Basecamp I highly recommend this property.

Choosing this rental was a great choice. We wanted to get away for spring break but didn't want to be around crowds of people. The house was as described on vrbo. It was clean and very inviting! We loved the deck, and the location. The owners communicated with us with all the information that we needed prior to check in, and responded quickly when we had questions or concerns. There were lots of little touches that made the stay even better. ( Seasonings, K-Cups etc) There isn't a master suite, but the hallway bathroom is easily accessible for all three bedrooms. There are only two televisions, one in the living room and one in a bedroom. Our children traveled with tablets and laptops. So they were able to use those when in their rooms. Overall the visit was great! Will definitely visit again. It was just what we needed!

It is kind of a nice treat. We love nature so we enjoyed hiking to the waterfalls - 1hr 30 min drive. We also drove to Helen, GA and to Stone Mountain - about 2hr drive each. Town of 96 is interesting for the History buffs. The owners are very nice and the home was very comfortable.

This was the second time we stayed at the basecamp. Cant beat the location and the amenity's. Property manager a pleasure to deal with.

The house was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed. We had 3 trucks each with a boat and parking was great, definitely accommodated us. We would be happy to return!!

Nice and clean Fun watching the planes come and go!

with everything going on I was able to book the day before and didn't have to be in contact with anyone. They gave me the code for the door and everything was smooth. The property and home are beautiful and quiet we loved. To top it off I asked if it were possible to have chocolates there for my wife because we went for mother's day and sure enough even with tookie and jim living their own lives they managed to bring me chocolates for my wife. It was an excellent and appreciated experience. I highly recommend.

We loved the location of the house. Loved The thoughtfulness of the owner to have the house cooled down. The weekend was very hot. The amenities were great. Plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The coffee lovers have every thing they need. We will definitely use this house again.

It was perfect for us. Older boys attended Clemson Football camp and the little boys and I went to the lake. :)

The property is very nice and was beautifully decorated. There is a large dining/family room area for gathering in. We really enjoyed the back deck (when it wasn't too hot). We were there during a major heat wave, but the A/C unit worked great. It was fun watching the planes come and go right across the street, but there was very little noise. Only small planes taking off and landing.. The only thing to note is that there are some very short (though made with beautiful wood) stairs going up to the bedrooms that could be a little hard to navigate for an older person or young child. We very much enjoyed our stay.
