Stayed here for a wedding and it was absolutely beautiful! Seamless check-in and check-out process!

I have stayed @ Terranea last year. This was my first time with VRBO. The unit is exactly as described. The owners have great communication and extended themselves. A PERFECT stay. THANK YOU!!

We went here for a last minute stay to splurge for a big birthday and absolutely loved the stay. The place was quiet and relaxing and perfect for a get-away.

Everything went off without a hitch. Brad and Paula were communicative and a pleasure to work it. Will definitely stay there again!

It was wonderful to stay at the beautiful Terrenea resort and have use of all its amenities. This spacious room is conveniently located near pools, golf, oceanside paths, resort lobby and restaurants. Owners were very responsive to our inquiries before we booked the stay. Note that there are daily parking and resort fees added to the rental price. We would stay here again.

Terranea has been our favorite place to stay, since it opened, whenever we return to California to visit family and friends

I’ve stayed at Terrenea several times in the past. I knew what to expect. We like the peaceful area. This casita is good for two people. One thing, this casita is located right next to a busy pathway which is frequented at all hours by guests but also by very noisy staff metal carts. If you’re a light sleeper, this can be an issue as we were woken several time each night. Otherwise, good stay.

The property and casita are beautiful However our casita was not available at our check in time of 4:00 pm. On another day after returning to our room after a full day out our room was not made up and no towels. Had to call front desk for towels.

Terranea is a big and beautiful resort with views of the Pacific Ocean from the entire length of the property. This makes for some lovely walks as there are scenic paths everywhere. The condo itself is very nicely appointed and conveniently located to the main building of the resort. Because it is part of such a large property or perhaps because it is privately owned, we did not received the daily housekeeping services. While they were apologetic that we had been overlooked, I had to make several follow up calls before someone arrived with fresh towels and to make up the room.

Beautiful resort. Casita is a large-sized hotel room perfect for a couple/couple with young child. We enjoyed our stay.

The resort is something unbelievable! So beautiful and plenty of things to do. We had a minor issue upon arrival, but the owner communicated quickly, and I could tell she really cared and made things right ASAP. Highly recommend.

This oceanside King Guest room was in a great location at the resort. Close to all the pools, Mar'sel restaurant, and a short walk to Sea Beans and the lobby. Great view from balcony in this end unit. Beth, the host, was easy to communicate with and quick to respond after booking. Glad we had the opportunity to book with Beth on VRBO at a more affordable rate than booking through the resort. The resort staff was fantastic. Absolutely love the Terranea resort and we look forward to going back!

Renting this property was great and owner was great with communication but the hotel staff was poor and rude multiple times

Terranea is a magnificent property on the California coast with unparalleled views. It has very convenient access to LA attractions. The property has excellent pools and a beautiful executive golf course. Beth, the host, was responsive and helpful. Everything was as advertised. I stayed in the 1BR casita room, and it was in excellent condition and cleanliness. The only negatives I could raise had nothing to do with the host - Terranea appears to have a shortage of workers in these times. That is probably true for most hotels, and more acute for large resorts with many employees and services. In any case, Beth was a pleasure and accommodated my questions and requests. I organized my stay on short notice, so I was very appreciative. The Casita is closest to the Vista, Family, and Spa pools and it has reserved parking right in front of the Casita. The room has a private entrance so you do not need to walk through an indoor lobby or hallway to get to the room. That made me feel a bit more comfortable with regards to pandemic safety. Thanks to Beth for a great stay!

This VRBO at Terranea Resort is a gem! Full resort amenities, with the privacy of a detached casita and affordability of reserving directly through owner. Honestly, this is a win win! Very convenient location at the resort. Adjacent to two pools, Mar'sel restaurant, a beautiful walking path, and quick walk to lobby. The room itself is the same quality as all rooms in the resort. Great view from balcony, luxurious tub, and added bonus of being an end unit. Beth was available, friendly, and quick to reply. There is a direct relationship between the owners and the resort for the purpose of check-in and check-out. Just like booking directly with the hotel. We had a snafu with check-in and our room was not ready, but hopefully that was a one-off. The hotel was quick to make amends and Beth was very responsive as well. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed in one of the Casitas for a weekend getaway for our 30th wedding anniversary. The room we had was very clean and beautiful with the ocean view from our bed. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony after walking throughout this gorgeous property. Everywhere you go the staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoy the excellent restaurants, have somesome drinks walk around, enjoy the ocean views and beautiful landscape, and relax here!

Perfectly quiet, peaceful space that allows for social distancing and safety during Covid (no inside hallways or stairwells!). This was my second stay and hopefully will not be my last. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

A wonderful, peaceful, quiet, and Covid-friendly getaway. If you're familiar with the Terranea property, this casita is the first one located just left of the path that skirts Mar'sel restaurant (so quite close to the Vista pool, when it's able to open again). The unit is accessed from outside, which is particularly appealing during Covid times- no shared interior hallways to traverse! There is a shared outdoor fireplace in the entryway, which I took advantage of one afternoon and never saw another person. The unit is clean, comfortable, and with a lovely oceanview balcony. The layout is different than a resort room, but with all the same components (and a few more, like in-room iron and air mattress). Overall, I had a wonderful stay and can't thank Beth enough for her hospitality.

Property was just as advertised. Had a great time and easy to deal with Beth. Location on the property was great. Close to the adult pool and the steak house.

Looking for a quick get away, and found this listing. Area was beautiful, and location was great. Service was impeccable, although food at the resort was not the greatest.

The resort is heavenly. The communication with the property manager was exceptional. She gave us all the necessary information needed. The only thing I’ll say is to set your expectations before you stay here. When we rented a “casita,” I thought it would have a kitchenette. Or a small sitting area. You know ... like a small house, or a “casita.” However, this is a hotel room. A bathroom and a bed. It was fine since it was just myself and my husband. And it did have a small little balcony where we sat and ate breakfast. But if you expect to have more than 2 guests, you should probably look for a bigger option. But the location is amazing and it has a nice view of the ocean.

My wife and I were amazed at the natural beauty and restoration of the land of Terranea. Simply incredible-truly! Our casita was lovely as well, our beautiful ocean view was a wonderful wake up each morning! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you! From breakfast to dinner, each meal was delicious and presented with artistry care. We look forward to visiting for years to come. Well done!

Resort is so beautiful! Check-in process is very easy at the reception desk. Pools, restaurants, staff - awesome! And views😍�😍� Room is clean, comfortable and very quiet! That was a perfect place to get over jetlag
