My husband and I hosted our 3 adult children and their families to a week in South Haven. This home was the most comfortable rental we have had for the past 7 years that we’ve been doing this. Comfortable, clean, roomy, and well stocked. The extras in the way of toys and beach equipment from the garage were a huge plus. Location was a 5 block walk to Kids Corner and the stairway for the beach which was perfect for our family. We hope to stay there again next summer.

What an outstanding home.... Clean and well appointed with lots of toys, games, and activities for the kids. Great location with easy walk to the beach and downtown. The front porch was icing on the cake! We'll be back!

Wonderful host, beautiful home, and a surprise bonus for our four-year-old and one-year-old: TOYS! We had a fantastic weekend and would 100% recommend this home and host to anyone looking for a family-friendly place to stay in South Haven!

The house was perfect for our family fall gathering. The house was clean, spacious, provided many options for sleeping arrangements, and had everything we could possibly need. The garage has everything you need from bikes to a kids wagon, which we used to walk to town with our daughter. The house is well located, a short walk to town and to the water plus the cool kid's corner playground. Communication and flexibility with the owner was great too. Would love to visit again and stay at this house in the future.

We had an amazing experience at this beautiful, spacious vacation house! The proximity to the beach and downtown bars / restaurants was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely stay here again!

Joyce was gracious enough to rent to us last minute when the property we’d planned to rent flooded, and despite the short turn-around, communication was excellent and the property - which has ample space and everything we needed - was immaculate. For our family with young children, the location was perfect - 3 blocks from the immense Kids Corner playground, which is across the street from access stairs to the quiet southern end of South Beach. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay so much this beautiful home. Front porch was a favorite hangout for morning coffee and after dinner refreshments. The little guys loved everything there was to offer in the garage. Looking forward to next year.

House is ideal for multi family with 2 master bedrooms and 3 blocks from big park that works for 2-11 year olds. House has everything you need including beach toys, bikes, firewood for fire pit, and more. Plenty of kitchen seating as well.

Big, clean place and a great location!

This house is well situated a few blocks from downtown. Walking to morning coffee is a quick walk. To do a beach day, one still has to drive to either South or North Beach as it's a bit more of a hike if you carry a lot of beach stuff. The house itself was well appointed with necessities and plenty of rooms. There were plenty of towels. Sleeping was better in some rooms than others as far as the comfort/quality of the mattress, sheets, blankets and pillows. The main space was one open-concept room for living and dining; perfect if you want to be together all the time. The front porch was lovely and an escape to quiet from the teenagers during our stay. The backyard was smaller than anticipated so if your family expects to enjoy lawn games that require a net or ball, it may not be for you. Surrounding neighbors were quiet so we opted for playing our nightly lively game of cornhole on the front lawn so as not to disturb. I would recommend this house for families with smaller children and those that want a neighborhood feel that is quiet.

Our first visit to South Haven, and the 5 bedroom house was a big hit, especially the bikes and riding toys in the garage for the kids. We quickly got used to the walk to the beach - the shore at the end of Monroe involved steps but was less crowded than South Beach. Overall it was a great experience.

We stayed at this property for the week of the Fourth of July and had a fabulous stay. Joyce, the owner, was immediately available for questions we had regarding the house. It is well appointed with interior fixtures you would find in your own home, as opposed to a rental. The garage (it's contents really) was the star of the show for the kids. There was every floatation device imaginable (already inflated!) so they could just hit the water and go. The kids from the rental next door were so intrigued they would come over and want to play with my children. Each bedroom was stocked with abundant toys for any age. The location was close to Kid's Corner, in close walking distance to the lake and 'downtown'. I would highly recommend using this house for a multi-family get away and would definitely rent from Joyce again in the future.
