This is exactly the cabin we hoped to find - plenty of room for all of us to have our space. And the best location! Loved being walking distance to everything!

We had such a good time this weekend. This home is beautiful and there was plenty of room for our entire party without feeling like we were in top of each other. The massive dining room table was perfect for our large family. The property is beautiful and the is plenty of parking. Communication with the manager was easy and always pleasant. We will be booking this cabin again. I’m the near future if they will have us.

My family and I stayed here for a family reunion and absolutely loved it. The cabin is clean and comfortable with plenty of space to hang out and enjoy each others company. It’s an older home and with that has some quirks but nothing we didn’t mind too much. The pros far out weighed any cons- like small beds. Parking is awesome. And the neighborhood and surrounding area is walkable and so cute. The best part is having access to the private beach and park. My family spent so much time together here playing volleyball, bocce ball, and paddle boarding. Janet was so easy to work with. Just a fabulous experience from beginning to end.

Great property located on a quiet street yet accessible to everything. Access to beautiful lake front private beach, walkable and appropriate for all ages. We’ve been coming to Tahoe for 50 years and this was a great place to revisit old, and make new, memories.

We loved the size and location of the house. Plenty of parking. Kitchen was very well stocked. Enough beds and bedrooms for privacy for all members of the family. Loved the park and easy walk as well as easy walk to the cute market for a breakfast treat or deli sandwich. Lots of nice hikes nearby as well. We also enjoyed large patio area with grill. Janet was easy and prompt to communicate with. Would recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Kyffin Cabin! It worked great for our family (two families with kids, and two uncles). So nice to have all the bedrooms and sleeping arrangement options! The vintage feel was fun - the kitchen supplies especially reminded me of my childhood. The cabin was warm and well stocked - plenty of dishes, silverware, towels, bedding, and even shampoo/conditioner/body wash available in the bathrooms, and spices/oils/flour/sugar, etc. in the kitchen. The owner was responsive, helpful, and friendly. Only wish the mattresses were a bit more comfortable, but otherwise had a great time.

Very good house and super equipped. For you who want to have pleasant days with your family, this is a great option.

I am the grandmother of a large family ranging in ages from 9 to 49. Kyfinn home has a place for everyone. The fire burning stove give that homey warmth and the large, full stocked kitchen, gives a place for all to be around while meals are being prepared, laughing and catching up on everything going on . This is our 2nd year - thank you for having such a wonderful home you let us share.

This place is amazing! It supplied everything but the food and clothing! Our families were accommodated comfortably. There was detailed instructions on almost everything which we were grateful for. The best part was getting together meeting up with family from Oregon to celebrate Thanksgiving, birthdays and our dad being cancer free! He got to see his family play in the snow.

We had a lot of fun in the property. I like the atmosphere at night in the living room. The property has a lot of stuff that will help you have fun and prepare you at night like lamps and flashlights. Everything was perfect for my family and friend’s winter short vacation!

We totally enjoyed our stay. It was a surprise for my husbands 70th birthday. He loved it. We didn’t want to leave. Janet has the cabin stocked perfectly and the only things u need is ur food and personal things. It is described exactly how it is. Janet is a gem to work with also. You won’t regret renting this place. We didn’t It was just perfect for our family and for many memories we now have. We definitely would rent it again. Thanks Janet for the great time

The place was PERFECT, for the weekend getaway that me and my whole family had. This house was very warm and inviting. The location is fantastic and location superb. It was very quiet and our there is something for everyone. The house is well stocked and the owner is most accommodating and most helpful in answering all your questions. Hope to stay again. Even saw a bear!

We have had the best stay here. The house is awesome. So much room, so many spaces to escape to. We loved the “private beach” and all the activities it had to offer kids if all ages. The location was perfect and we had a great day exploring the area on push bikes. Janet couldn’t have done anymore to make our stay more enjoyable.

Great time at this property- location is perfect. Loved how clean it was and how well equipped the kitchen was. My only caveat would be if you have an infant or toddler, you’ll need to bring your own crib. This was a hassle for us, but ultimately we made it work.

My family stayed in this cabin for New Year Holidays! Everybody (14 people) loved it!!! Enough rooms, sits, plates, cups, even restrooms :) !!! Communication with owner was easy and quick. We defiantly recommend it for a big family or company, and will come back again!!! Thank you!

Where do I start - This home was an amazing place - The kitchen was fully stocked and large enough that we loved all being in the kitchen cooking, visiting and catching up. Each bedroom was not only comfy but cozy. There was place for everyone (all 15 of us). The great room and fireplace made an inviting area for games, puzzles and family interaction and the table sat all 15 of us for our Christmas Dinner. This was a great choice and I thank the owners for letting us stay. We will be back.

The Kyffin Cabin was everything we hoped for and more! When it can time for our family to come together to honor the passing of our brother, the Cabin's location worked out perfectly. And host Janet was very helpful to work with! Thank you for letting us come together at your beautiful place!

It was a great place for a very large family to gather during the day. Most of us stayed the night there and it was more than enough space for the 16 people of all ages that stayed there. We actually didn’t end up using all the beds. Especially our two little ones loved the bunk beds. We did get a second house for the rest of the family that was located less than 2 miles away and it was great that during the day we could gather at this house that was big enough for all of us. It is really a great location, with a private beach that has wonderful view of the lake. It was great to just stay there, enjoy the whole families company and eat. We took enough food for 3 days and everything that was needed to cook was in the house. There was even baking items. The house had everything that our own house has so we did not need to take anything but the food. We really enjoyed our stay at this house.

Wonderful house, even better location. Truly could not have found a better spot for a large group of friends and family to stay while in town for a nearby wedding. 10/10!

We were absolutely thrilled with all aspects of this property and our time spent there. The home is comfortable, wonderfully well-stocked, and spacious enough for your group gathering. My extended family (party of 14 between the ages of 4-69) fit nicely into the space with room to sneak away for quiet time when needed. We were so pleased with the proximity to the beach and really appreciated all off the little extras around the house that were available for our use. Thank you Kyffin family for sharing your home! We were impressed with the amount of parking since we had three cars. The cabin was abundantly supplied with every piece of cooking equipment one needs as well as seating for us all. Our grand children had a fun time floating on the Truckee, and going to Kings beach and relaxing at the beach at the house. Many fun memories were made and we hope to return in the future. Thank you for a perfect stay!
