Our Family of 7 stayed here for our visit to South Dakota. Great location not to far from town (or anything else for that matter) and BEAUTIFUL scenery. I could have stayed on the deck all day! We saw lots of deer, geese, hawks, osprey, turkeys and other birds. The house is beautiful we never felt cramped and all the beds were comfy. We would stay here again on our next trip out hands down.

Our family of six stayed in early September. The biggest draw to this rental are the views! Looking out at the lake and hills each morning was so breathtaking. Our kids also loved fishing in the pond and they all caught quite a few! The size is tight for a family of six, but we got by just fine; just don't expect the full size amenities you may get at a regular condo. We liked eating meals on the deck overlooking the pond and even grilled one night. It would have been nice if there was a door to the upstairs where the kids slept. The fan in the bathroom did not work and either did the exhaust fan for the stove. Other than that, we did not experience any big surprises. I would definitely recommend this rental.

As the other reviews warned, this place is 15-20 minutes out of town. But it’s so worth it. The scenery is amazing. It is so peaceful and quiet. My boys went fishing at the lake and had some luck. We enjoyed riding our side by side around and through the trails. The condo was well stocked. It was a bit small, outdated, and only one bathroom, but that’s just our own issue. The place itself was wonderful- it was clean. One con was that no bonfires are allowed. The beds were comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful property in a private community. Very quiet and peaceful.

This was the perfect quiet place! So beautiful and peaceful to unwind from my daily grind! It was centrally located for daily motorcycle rides to some of the most beautiful places! The manager was very helpful and friendly allowing me to bring some very special friends that really needed to enjoy life again! This property and people made that possible! I can’t say enough so I’ll just say thank you!

5 night stay, 4 adults, 2 children (13&10) Spent most of our days away from property. Beautiful setting and view of the mountains. It was nice to get away from the town, Hill City is a nice place, fun to walk around a bit, grab a coffee at Caboose Coffee or a drink at one of the saloons. But loved staying up in the national forest—expect a 15-20 minute drive from Hill City! Worth it for the peace and quiet and lovely accommodations!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin/condo. The neighborhood was quiet and the cabin amenities were nice. The upstairs was a bit warm our first night but the outside temp dropped and we we were able to open the windows the next night. The beds upstairs were comfy for the kids. The queen on the lower level was satisfactory but not great. The lake was beautiful and we definitely took advantage of the paddle boat and fishing. I would definitely recommend. I only wish we were able to relax at the condo a bit more. We were so busy taking in the surrounding area during the days that we had minimal time to just relax at the condo. Great place for our family of five.

We absolutely loved staying here! You can't beat the view. It is a beautiful home. Very clean and provides extra things like games and even a little food in the kitchen if you need it. It's very peaceful and beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here! We will be back! Thank you so much!

Everything was as in pictures even though it was raining all of our stay we enjoy staying there it was an escape from our jobs and a perfect place for our kids they had board games, we got to see deer, and eagles fishing, it was just beautiful Hill city is close by so we were able to get groceries from there.

I looked last minute on my App and found this amazing cabin. It was perfect for our family of 5 and the views and scenery were amazing. Everything you could ever dream of is provided. Great place and we hope to be back!

This was exactly what I was looking for in my get away to the Black Hills. Great location, secluded, nature, quiet, just wonderful. Condo was besutiful, full of everything we needed. Monte and Diane are wonderful to work with, very attentive. Will be looking them up again for next year.

Our stay was even better than we had hoped. The view was amazing. The little cabin was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting. This condo overlooks a beautiful valley with a trout lake in it. We went in early October and it was very quiet. The unit is a little bit older and the living area not large but it worked just fine for the two of us.

We got to see lots of wildlife. Wonderful views. A nice out of the way location to have a home base to view the black hills.

We loved our stay. The stars were beautiful at night and the sunrises were spectacular.

Anytime you find a property online in a place you haven't been to before, you never know what to expect...this cabin exceeded any expectation my husband and I could have ever imagined. Traveling a little past Hill City onto a dirt road into a gorgeous oasis was just the getaway our family of four was looking for. The cabin is so clean and the view is breathtaking, both during the day and at night. I can't say enough good things about this stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking to adventure the Black Hills.

Very nice cabin with everything you'd need and perfect location to visit mount rushmore, crazy horse, and the town of keystone.

We loved the house and everything that was provided....fishing poles and tackle box...games..items in the cupboards..... everything was perfect...hope to come back sometime

We had a great time. The home is lovely, clean and perfect size. The lake was awesome. My son loved fishing. It is quiet, peaceful and has a gorgeous view. Sitting on the deck looking at the lake and beautiful view every morning and evening was tranquil. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great time in the Black Hills. We rented 3 units in this complex and had zero issues with any of them. The units were nice and have great views! I would recommend them to anyone who asks!
