Extremely clean place and centrally located to beach and restaurants. (It’s a full mini-home even with washer & dryer!). Quiet neighborhood! My daughter and I traveled to work / do school remotely while enjoying the nice weather & beaches in San Diego! Loved the stay!

Clean cottage with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Owners were very kind, accessible and helpful when I had questions. Might be a tight squeeze in bedroom for more than one person, but workable. Took a while to figure out all the options on the TV, so would be nice to have some simple instructions

The best thing abt this rental is the location. PB is only 7 blocks away & with lots of bars & places to eat. The place is clean & tidy, but small. The patio is in full sun in the afternoon, and the umbrella does not provide usable shade b/c the porch is narrow, except early morning, and later in the evening. We stayed here in August, which can be hot, even in SD. The A/C unit cools the front room, but you need the floor fan for the bedroom & even then, it's warm. The biggest problems we had were the TV & the wifi. The TV/entertainment devices had three unlabelled remote devices. No instructions of any kind, not even to tell you which remote to use for what device. When we tried the Roku button on one device, it said that Roku was not connected. The TV has only 5 channels - all local TV. No national channels. The wifi was weak - the TV would freeze. Our Surface Pro & Ipad had weak/slow connections too, and we could not get a signal for our computers on the porch. Three internet speed tests gave an average download speed of 12.5 Mbps, and upload speed of 15.6 Mbps. No tissue paper & no bath soap for the tub/shower. Plenty of TP. Weird.

Renee and her husband are extremely responsive and wonderful hosts. They not only gave my girlfriend one of their personal bikes to use but they upgraded the internet during our 3 week stay to allow me to work from home. The place is quaint and very clean with all the necessities for a good home cooked meal. The front deck/grill is wonderful. Location to the beach and bay is wonderful. I’d stay at Oliver again without question.

Property was comfortable except for the living area furniture which was very uncomfortable and worn bad.

We booked this accommodation after reading the reviews that mentioned bycycles being available at the property. On arrival we asked where they were and was told that they had been removed due to liability issues. However our friends who also booked accommodation with Renee in the propery behind had no such issues. We had to rent cycles that cost 150 dollars from a local cycle shop for eight days that we did not budget for. Cycles make this property handy for shops, beach and downtown via cycle paths that we used everyday. Property would have got 5 stars is the cycles were present, so if you want bikes be prepared to hire and ignore the reviews that mention them.

Very nice property. Very conveniently located close to where our son lives in Mission Beach. Very clean and modern. Air conditioning was very good feature since San Diego was having a hot streak when we visited. Comfortable bed. Very nice. We would recommend to others and stay here again in the future.

This property was quaint and clean and perfectly located close enough for a quick scooter ride to the beach but far enough to be out of the crazy. :)

My son and I had a great time at this cozy cottage in Pacific Beach. We were able to walk three blocks with paddleboards down to the bay. We were also able to walk or take electric scooters about 7-8 blocks down to the Pacific Beach boardwalk. This cottage is really meant for two people, no more as it is small, clean and well appointed. Dishwasher, full sized fridge, spacious shower, and a nice TV setup made our downtime comfortable as well. Communication with the property owner was prompt and we had a great stay! Would recommend to anyone interested in a private cozy cottage stay near the beach in San Diego!

Our stay was amazing! VERY clean and perfect location. We used Birds (scooters) and Uber! There were a few days we walked! Not a bad walk. Loved the bathroom and washer/dryer! Thank you for a great stay!

Great communication no problem with keys or combination to locks. The mattress could have been better, the floor fans are loud when trying to watch tv, vanity in bathroom is to low above the sink and toilet is way to close to the wall you have to sit a little side ways , no tv in the bedroom and couches could have been more comfortable

Apartment well equipped, very clean, nice neighborhood, easy walking distance to Sail Bay. Bikes very handy for getting to the beach (longish walk otherwise). A few rough edges on the servicing, so had to send multiple texts to owner as we identified things that were missing/not working (toilet paper, light bulb for bedroom, heating to be turned on, correct WiFi password etc). Owner very responsive but it was a minor irritant to have to be asking for so many things in succession. Would probably be helpful if they used a checklist at turnover time, to ensure apartment was fully ready for new occupants. Also, a basic 'user guide' in the apartment would be useful (WiFi code, combination numbers for padlocks, bike cable, how to use the TV and Roku, how to use the heater etc). That said, owner very charming and easy to deal with, would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect rental for a long weekend getaway. Close enough to everything PB has to offer whether you use the bikes provided, or take an Uber ride. We had a great trip, and the stay here was fantastic! The owner was responsive and helpful. Will most definitely look into this place again for future trips.

This place was a great value for the location. Like other reviewers, we found the bikes indispensable as we explored the bay, the boardwalk, the beach, and even La Jolla! We found the cottage updated and well stocked. The owner was responsive to our requests. We would definitely stay here again.

This cottage had everything we needed. Newly remodeled, very clean and tastefully decorated. We cooked meals inside, the kitchen was stocked w/ a lot of pans and utensils. We rode the bikes everyday to the boardwalk/beach. The cottage is located in a very quiet area, but yet so close to the beach/bars/restaurants. The owner was very professional and so easy to work with. Would stay here again for sure!

Was a very quiet area and I felt very safe. The bay is really close and the ocean although a bit of a walk was maneagable expecially if you start at the bay area instead of going straight down some of the main roads. The bikes were a life saver and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I recommend staying here.

This was a comfy cozy cottage nestled within easy biking distance to mission bay and pacific beach. Very clean and well priced for everything you get. Highly recommended.

The cottage was very convenient to the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Quick walk or bike ride to the bay or the boardwalk. Very quiet safe feeling neighborhood. The photos on the website matched exactly. Loved that we had a parking spot for the car. Only negative was the lack of bath towels and kitchen towels. We were having to hang our towels to dry and reuse.

Well described. Very close to the beach which is a great amenity. A few small details keptthisreview from being higher. 1. Gas grill had no gas, had to change all meal plans. 2. House was not ready upon a 4pm check in. 3. Needed to call owner to beach towels and bathroom toiletries. Very responsive owner just maybe an off week.

Quiet, quaint, and cozy! This condo is perfect for a couple. Ate every meal on the patio, used the bikes every day, 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. Quick bike to the beach/boardwalk. The owner was very responsive and quick to help with any questions. We will definitely be returning here and highly suggest it to others!
