The best breakfast selection ever. Cordon blue cookery! All the little extras - fridge in room, fresh milk in fridge, welcome afternoon tea and home-baked cakes. Such beautiful antique furniture and silver service. Everything was just perfect!

Wonderful hosts who had thought of every last detail to make our stay a memorable one. The most comfortable and luxurious surroundings, fabulous home made cakes and the best breakfast spreads we have had, all presented beautifully. Could not recommend highly enough.

Kilmeny is an absolutely wonderful location with a great view over the nearby hills. But most of it the hosts Margaret and Blair are such lovely and nice people! Strongly recommend to stay at Kilmeny if you are on Islay

Excellent place to stay with excellent hosts - and the breakfast was amazing.

Margaret and Blair went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great local knowledge and very accommodating of any and all requests. Delicious breakfast, quiet and serene location that is still within minutes of distilleries and the ferry. Will be rebooking in the future.

No phone signal but that could be seen as a positive (WiFi was excellent).

A stunning location, cutely decorated, amazing food, super clean and truly lively hosts. very comfortable beds and a good shower. everything there you could ever want. You could not ask for more and would love to ask to simply stay here forever

Everything was perfect and then some! The hosts were wonderful, and the stay was one I won't soon forget. I liked the quiet location, too, and closeness to Port Askaig

This accommodation is exceptional. The finest bed and breakfast we have ever experienced. We were in the suite which was exquisite in its quality and comfort. The attention to detail was incredible. The breakfast was fulsome and magnificent. Margaret and Blair were the most convivial and considerate hosts.

It cannot in our view be faulted

The location was nice and peaceful. Our room was very spacious and luxurious. By far the best breakfast of all the B&B places we have ever stayed in. We also loved being invited to see the lambs which had been born the previous night! What a bonus surprise!

The peace, the amazing friendly owners and the superb breakfast

Breakfast was wonderful. The freshly baked scones were delicious, as was the cinnamon toast. Fresh fruit, overnight oats, amazing. Our room was exceptional and the peaceful surroundings also. Margaret and Blair wonderful hosts.

Absolutely everything especially the attentiveness of the hosts, facilities were incredible, modern features without ruining authentic country look, the little touches including freshly baked goods on arrival and at breakfast as well as the vast selection for breakfast.

We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room with a bath and it was magnificent. This was our final and restful stay after a couple of nights in a hotel. ​ A delicious homemade cake and tea on arrival.It was very Scottish style. The bedroom is a haven of comfort. I didn't wake up until morning:) The breakfast was fantastic and served so well. You really do not need to go anywhere. There are, however, lovely walks on the grounds you can do. Otherwise, settle into your robe, pour yourself a pot of tea whilst reading a book or looking out to the wonderful views! Would happily stay again:)

Welcoming hosts, very tidy, great location and Fantastic breakfast. :)

The breakfast was fantastic. A generous spread of fruit, cereals, juice and granola to start off and then options of various eggs and meat for the main breakfast with specials available. Delicious homemade breads accompanied the meal. Spacious room with very comfortable large bed. The bathroom was also impressive with a club-footed bath and separate shower. The welcoming and accommodating hosts are clearly knowledgeable about the local area. Would happily stay again.
