We are very grateful for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home during our annual thanksgiving vacation in Carpinteria. The home was perfectly located walking distance to all restaurants, beach, and campgrounds. The home is beautifully decorated, fully-stocked with all the essentials, and spacious for a relaxing vacation stay. The kitchen is great with plenty of room for cooking with a large fridge and stove. Our favorite room was a family/tv room where we all had plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every day was capped off by falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves from the master bedroom. Great communication with the owners throughout our entire stay. Highly recommend this property!

Our family had a great stay here. We loved the home and it’s location to the beaches and downtown. Our only suggestion would be to include some more hangers in the closets :) Definitely would stay again!

We welcomed a new baby earlier this year and have not done any traveling during the pandemic — so we knew we wanted someplace special for the entire family to enjoy. Wendi & Brent’s place was perfect! The house was clean, spacious, well-furnished, and was located close to the Carpinteria City Beach, and Salt Marsh, as well as downtown. It was fun to explore the local area, enjoy takeout from the restaurants, and shop at the farmer’s market. Our hosts thought of everything when it came to amenities (beach hats, chairs, toys, and even Goo Be Gone for the occasional tar from the beach, etc.) and they were extremely responsive when we had any issues (key code and internet outage, etc.). Needless to say, the kids did not want to leave and have already asked for another stay here. I’ve also mentioned this place to other family members and friends… but hopefully, they won’t be fighting us for the same dates :) Thanks so much for opening your beautiful home to us, Wendi & Brent! It was the perfect leisurely vacation we wanted with our young children!

This is our third year staying at Wendi and Brent's charming beach house, and it never disappoints. The location is, of course, absolutely ideal, and the house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It's such a pleasure to stay at a rental house with sharp knives and a full spectrum of cooking and baking equipment! We're already counting the weeks until next summer.

This is a very comfortable house in a perfect location. You can walk the marsh and beach in the mornings. Town is just a short stroll away. We will definitely come back here again.

We stayed here with some friends while in the Santa Barbara area. The home is beautiful and well kept! Lots of space to spread out. Short walk to the beach and downtown area. Carpinteria is a gem! Such a relaxing area. We want to come back!

House is even lovelier than in the pics. No garage, as that’s been converted to a den. Very close to both the beach and the cute town area—we walked every day. Seamless check in and gracious hosts. LOTS of towels, both beach towels and bath towels, which was very appreciated since we had a couple families sharing the upstairs restroom. Only criticism was that the kitchen was not stocked for vacationers—there was no coffee, no aluminum foil, no ziplock bags, etc., which made food storage a touch harder. Thanks Wendi for hosting!

Perfect place for our Thanksgiving family gathering. The kitchen was well equipped, especially the incredible oven. We played games in the comfortable family room. We took the boogie boards and chairs to the short walk to the beach. We hope to do it all again. Wendi was responsive.

The house was perfect for our family, 3 adults and 2 kids. We were never crowded. The house is really lovely and has everything to make a vacation comfortable! The location is ideal! Walking distance to everything. Wendi is a great hostess, so friendly and accommodating. She really goes out of her way. We had a great vacation!

This is our second year staying at Wendi’s property, and we love it. The house is spotlessly clean and the kitchen is fully equipped so that it’s easy to cook meals. Plus the location can’t be beat. Our only wish is that there was a sound system in order to play some music while eating in the dining room, but that’s hardly a complaint. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

We loved our stay at this house. Wendi was helpful with tips on the area. The house is beautiful and clean and nicely renovated. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of linens. Cute little yard space with outdoor gas fire pit. Easy walk to the beach which was great for our kids. Also had nice beach chairs and toys. We hope to stay here again soon.

We had a great time at Wendi's lovely Carpinteria home. The house is spotless, modern and comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out. Beds are great, and the kids loved the bunk bed room! The house is an easy stroll to the beach or salt marsh flat just next door. The town's main strip is just a few minutes' walk away, with plenty of restaurants and breweries. Don't forget to try Rori's ice cream! Wendi was a pleasure to deal with and clearly wants her guests to enjoy their stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

This home was perfect for my family of 4 to stay in for one week in this lovely beach community. Short 5 min walk to beach. Big, spacious, bright, cheery, & clean. The den off the kitchen is an added bonus! The house provided everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Large driveway for several cars. I'd stay here again. Thanks so much to Wendi for being an excellent hostess.

This home is beautifully decorated, immaculate and airy. We were a group of four adults and two children and the home was large enough to never feel cramped. We really loved that it was a block from a beautiful, uncrowded beach, a five minute walk to downtown, and right across the street from a salt marsh with walking paths. It all made for a perfect beach vacation.
