location, location, location. roof top deck was great, but, unless you are staying several days and weather is perfect not as impressive.

while I knew when I booked the room that we would have to park a short distance away, it was never stated that we could not unload luggage near the property. apartment is nice and yes, it is a 4 story walk up ( all known) but the entry way door does not lock and the entry way smells like someone gas been urinating there. top flight of stairs are worn down concrete and slippery (saw previous reviewer from year ago mentioned same). no coffee left in apartment, had to contact owner for coffee owner; only available by email . coffee for the provided machine arrived late the next morning by the property manager. no water or anything provided. decent place if you need to be in the specific area.

The flat is truly exceptional! We really enjoyed staying there, and spending as much time as possible on the beautiful terrace :) And the hosts are very thoughtful and kind. We greatly recommend the place!

There was no breakfast. The location is super, but Jean-Daniel must alert his possible visitors that the apartment is up 4 flights of narrow steep stairs. This means that it is not really pet friendly, since my pet was a bit freaked out by the stairs and I had to carry her up and down. I think it is the perfect eyrie for a young romantic couple. Beautiful rooftop terrace and wonderful location, but for an elderly couple like us it was very inconvenient, even though JD had made every effort to make it comfy and attractive. He even left a lovely bottle of rose in the fridge, which was a lovely touch.

The keys are very hard to find. We had to phone JD to find out where they were. He needs to think of another option. I think that he needs to market the property differently for people who are young or youngish or very fit, and who love the urban funkiness of it.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and was fully equipped with all that you needed. The terrace was really lovely, we spent most of our evenings up there 😊 there was a welcome booklet in the apartment with recommendations of places to eat and visit. This was a lovely touch. The apartment had aircon which was fab and was very central. Great location. Would definitely return!

The apartment was on the 4th floor with no lift - this was not a problem for us but it may be something to keep in mind when booking.

The apartment is lovely. The upstairs patio is incredible to enjoy both morning and night.

The indoor stairs are steep and some of the bannisters were loose. However, the host explained that the landlord will be fixing it soon. Worth it. Just need to plan.

Amazing place, everything was nicely decorated and properly renovated with attention to detail. It’s perfect for two, very cozy and the roof terrace is wonderful. Equipment like airco, tv, speaker and Netflix just worked flawlessly. All information presented in a clear and kind way, and everything was super clean. Also there are more basic food items like tea, coffee than you need which is refreshing.

The Apartment is fabulous, really clean, awesome easy to get to location, lovely evenings with cheese and wine on the terrace, perfect to just take in the sounds and unwind

There is nothing to not like about this apartment.

The rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing. The rest of the apartment is also absolutely fine. Spacious, well appointed. Beds are good. Bedroom quiet & dark. Did not use the kitchen but it looked fine. Great place!

The apartment was very clean and tidy, it is very central but as it is on the top floor it was very quiet the terrace is charming with a great view of the city we had a great stay

Absolutely loved our stay in this flat. The private terrace and washer were the selling point for us during our stay. Jean-Daniel and Lili were very accommodating: great communication, kindly welcomed us with a bottle of wine and information guides on the area and apartment. The apartment itself had beautiful views (waking up seeing the sunrise through the small bedroom window was priceless, the apartment felt very comfortable throughout. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Blankets and candles for colder days in, and a beautiful private terrace to enjoy a smoke or a drink. The location was great. Don’t recommend bringing a lot of luggage as there is no elevator and it’s a bit of a hike up the stairs, also quite dark when you first enter the building.

Everything was tidy, well kept but some of the dishes definitely needed a good wash before use. The shower heads had calcium build up as well that could use a good clean

The entrance is a little scruffy but once inside the property it's lovely- stunning views of Nimes rooftops Nice flat centrally located in the charming old part of Nimes.

This is a fabulous apartment in the best location in Nimes for easily walking to the main attractions. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with a lovely little roof terrace.

We didn't know that the apartment was up so many steep and winding stairs, which were very shabby. We are pensioners and found it quite hard going up and down, if we were a few years older and a bit more infirm, I doubt we would have been able to have done it.
