The house was nice, clean, roomy and right on the beach. It was perfect for our family to hang out and relax by the pool and hot tub. Any problems that arose were taken care of in a timely manner and if they couldn't resolve it, They gave us a temporary fix until it could be resolved. Only recommendation would be to have some kind of patio furniture on balconies of master bedroom and the other larger bedroom to be able to sit out and watch sunrise and sunsets. Otherwise the house was supplied well with whatever you may have wanted as far as appliances, utensils and such. Oh, and we had a broom but could not find the dustpan to clean up sand thru out the stay. And a little difficulty with the front door lock, very tricky and hard to figure out. All in all a nice place to bring your family!

Second year in a row that we have enjoyed staying in an SPI Townhome on Gulf Blvd - looking forward to next year!

Furniture seems rather cheap and leg on dining room chair was about to fall off and actually pinched the finger of one in our group. Refrigerator door was broken and froze fruit we ended up throwing out. The driveway is lined with large rock that is a challenge to walk on and since they no longer let you park in the garage, you are forced to walk on them as we had 4 cars parked in the driveway. Regardless of the house issues, we had a great time. We would return, but probably not to this house.

Great experience beautiful property. Really enjoyed the location, central and easy walking around. Private beach access was great. Private pool and hot tub excellent. Management was extremely easy to deal with. Highly recommend this property! First time in South Padre we will be back.

I selected this property because of the location and high real estates value according to Zillow. Expecting a well appointed property, we were not initially disappointed. Then we noticed the bedroom mattresses looked like some might have been bought second hand or found on the side of the road. When we pulled backed the sheets. They smelled and had multiple stains - on both sides. The bakeware and cookware was very lacking and and better sets can be bought at Goodwill. Then there was the John Wayne toilet paper. Overlooking these faults however, the property functioned as presented.

This house is great and the location is perfect. Where this house lacks is service and amenities. Here are a few examples. There is minimal furniture outside and none provided for the upstairs balcony. This was so odd that they would have a nice balcony with no way to enjoy other than stand. The grill is dirty and older, along with some of the kitchen items, like the ancient coffee pot. They provided one trash bag for the kitchen and when I inquired about where we can find more we were told we only get enough for the first day and then we are on our own. The front door didn’t lock. A few upgrades and this place would be perfect. Missed opportunity to provide excellent service and furniture/appliances. For the price, we expected more.

I rented this property for my wife 40th birthday. The property was beautiful, the location was perfect and the views were simply amazing. the private access to your own pool and the beach were perfect! I will absolutely consider renting this property again.

I rented this house for a family trip with my 6 grandchildren and their parents, and it far exceeded our expectations! It was immaculate, has a wonderful heated pool and hot tub facing the ocean, and 5 comfortable bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils and supplies. We had to call SPI twice for very minor problems and they came in less than 10 minutes to fix them both—very impressive! We would definitely rent this home again if we return to the island! Thanks for such good service!

Our stay was wonderful regardless of the weather being rainy and small issues with the hot tub not heating because of the weather. We had an amazing relaxing time. Communication, service, and staff was exceptional..

There are a few suggestions for improvement; something to clean sand from floors, better toilet paper, better mattresses (old and mostly uncomfortable), and an outdoor water source for rinsing off the sand from the beach. I actually purchased a broom to sweep sand from the porch, door mats, and house. I'm sure there is probably a reason for not leaving access to a vaccum, but a broom and dust pan should be available. I would stay here again for a beach trip.

Needs a few small things, like fixing of bathroom door latch, updating the mattresses, and some little maintenance items. Not worth complaining about because it is as advertised and on the beach. Overall nice place and convenient location.

Excellent property, house was in great condition. Communication with SPI through text was extremely easy and accommodating. Had a temperature issue with the hot tub on our last night there, SPI dispatched someone within 30 minutes and attempted to fix. Only reason the issue wasn't resolved was the pool company's padlock on the heaters control panel. No fault of SPI although it would have been great to have that last night in the pool. Pool company arrived at 10 the next morning and fixed the issue. Loved South Padre Island, will recommend to friends and family as well as SPI Rentals. Thanks, Danny Bates

We stayed at this property November 20-27th over Thanksgiving. The location is great, the beach is amazing and the layout of the home was very nice for our group of 11 people. It's very nice that each bedroom has it's own bathroom and South Padre did not disappoint! If you are really into the beach and pool like we are a couple things to know is that they do not provide beach towels or any beach chairs. We had to go to Walmart and buy portable chairs so we didn't have to sit in the sand. The pictures of the pool area are accurate and there are no lounge chairs to lay in the sun on, only the couches. We did have to buy a fry pan because the largest one in this home was a 10" fry pan that was in rough shape and with 11 people it was not large enough to fry bacon and eggs for breakfast or brown hamburger for spaghetti. If you are bringing babies you will need to bring your own portable high chairs and portacribs as they do not provide them. The location, beach and layout of the house was great but it would be nice at this price point if they would provide some of the basic necessities like beach towels, lounge chairs and a well stocked kitchen. We did enjoy our stay.

Had a wonderful vacation. The unit was very nice, and had almost everything one would need for the stay.We did have a small problem, which when we called they came right over and took care of. Would diffidently stay there again in the future.

Great location and amazing interior!!

Perfect place for a family vacation - we thoroughly enjoyed our time. House could have used more eating utensils - for example there were only 3 spoons and all 3 were serving spoons. AC would reset to 78 everyday. It would be very helpful if there were instructions in the rooms for how to work the TVs and the different remotes. No one was able to watch tv from their bedrooms. Also recommend that you place a sign in the house reminding guests that glass is not allowed on the beach...and they do not issue warnings - they just provide an instant citation.
