The penthouse itself leaves nothing to be desired and was a great space for 2 couples and 2 friends for commutes to Lake Louise and Banff. Private hottub the cherry on top. Communication with the host was quick before booking when asking questions to ensure the space was ready for us. Once we were at our stay we never got a reply to any questions we had for the host. Just feeling fortunate nothing serious had come up.

This place was super clean and new and a great set up for three couples. Awesome location close to downtown Canmore. The hot tub was a great amenity! Unfortunately the communication with the host was awful. We didn’t have enough face towels for everyone which isn’t a problem, but he didn’t respond to my message and the front desk couldn’t send any as it is a private condo. Additionally, we had the smoke alarm beeping for an entire day until my husband fixed it as we didn’t hear back from the host. He didn’t respond to a single message we sent throughout the duration of our stay. Great place but the host left something to be desired.

We (2 adults, 2 teens) loved our stay at the Grande Rockies penthouse. The condo was very clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. The private hot tub with a view of the mountains was a great way to wind down at the end of a day of hiking.

A small group of my girlfriends spent the weekend here. The condo was beautiful, clean and spacious. The check-in was easy. The hot tub and patios were such incredible bonus spaces to catch up over a couple drinks. My only reccomendation would be too add a couple more towels (specifically an extra dish towel and cloth).

It was cold and rainy the week we stayed, the hot tub was a blessing after our hikes. Location was excellent. Plenty of work for our adult family. Property was excellent!

Having stayed in Canmore many times, this is definitely one of the better options available if you are a small group / or you are looking to host a small group. The condo is on the top floor, has a fantastic layout including a rooftop hot tub facing the mountains. The property gets docked a point because of some required TLC: - BBQ left extremely dirty / BBQ brushes need to be replaced - Hot tub never really got about 96 degrees even after hours on the heating setting - One side of the sink plugged - Kitchen missing utensils / not really enough plates / dishes / cutlery based on the total capacity for occupancy

We had a great time, and the unit was great, especially the hot tub. The only suggestion I have is that the tub in the Master Bedroom had no grab bars and was very slippery.

Super clean condo with everything we needed! The master suite was separate from the other bedrooms which we really appreciated. The view from the hot tub was amazing and the complex is well sound proofed, we didn’t hear a neighbour once. Location was great and underground parking with 7ft clearance was super convenient. Would definitely return to Romans place again!

We loved the space, lots of room for our kids, they (and we) loved the private hot tub. Great location to start outings from for biker rides, runs, walks. Comfortable and well-stocked. Would definitely stay again.

Property is fantastic! Perfect for a family. Clean, great layout with the 2 floors, amazing location. Parkade was a bit tight if you had a truck. Close proximity to Banff, Sunshine and Mount Norquay. Pool was very busy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Roman!

Roman's suite was a perfect getaway for my wife and I celebrating a special anniversary. The suite was huge and had all the amenities we needed. The private hot tub with the amazing view of the mountains was the highlight of our stay. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Needed a winter get away and this fit the bill

This property was absolutely fantastic for this trip! The rooms were all spacious, view was great, private hot tub was out of this world. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and organized, every applianced we needed was there! All in all we would return to this property. Roman was very quick to respond and assist. My only complaint was there was an inconsistency on the listing. There was only 1 parking spot available, instead of 2 which resulted in the other guest having to park far away or risk getting a ticket.

This condo is lovely. The hot tub is fun and they layout is great for 3 gals just trying to get away. The location is great for restaurants and all the fun stuff within the town. Very nice place.

The property itself is impressive, from the layout to the amount of space to the hot tub. It has a great sized dining table, plenty of space to entertain, etc. But this place needs some TLC and more of the basic items required for your stay. It had 4 bowls, 4 plates, 4 glasses, etc which required you to do dishes after every meal (which they supplied 3 dishwasher tabs for our whole stay). It says "no glass" by hot tub, yet they only supply glass cups (so we bought plastic cups and left them in the unit for the next people...and since we told the owner there was no plastic, he changed his listing to say there are some in the unit now...convenient). There was no BBQ brush, remotes have no batteries, no throw blankets or extra blankets, fridge icemaker doesn't work, not even a pen or paper in the unit (people were using the "unit information" book to write their card game scores in), zero kitchen items for children (no kids plates, cups, silverware, etc even though this place is "family friendly"), no kitchen rags (had to use face cloths to wash dishes), kitchen table has cross members falling off, no tupperware to put left overs in, not a single game or deck of cards to use, the list goes on. It has the bare minimum of items, so we either had to borrow from other units or go buy our own items, which should have been there. Frustrating that you pay a premium price for a unit that is missing so much basic stuff. The write up says it's a 3 bedroom which is incorrect. There are 2 bedrooms and a den. The den has no window, no closets and no furnace/AC vent, so if you close the door at night, it is super stuffy in there for the kids. We were told check in was at 3pm, just like the listing says, but the owner tried to tell us 4pm on check in day. We were told it had 2 parking stalls, then on check in day it changed to one. I tried to reach out to the owner to let him know about everything missing and that it almost ruined our stay, but he didn't even bother to respond to us. If you want somewhere just to sleep in, this is your place. If you are looking for a place to spend some time at, this probably isn't the place for you.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. Particularly enjoyed the super comfortable beds and the hot tub. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and I would definitely book again.

This was the best place to wind down, relax and enjoy the scenery. Really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a day of skiing. Beautiful place, can’t wait to go back.

The condo unit is nicely furnished and a unique lay out. Would be tricky with young kids as the stairs to the master are cumbersome. Hot tub was great (except that we could hear and smell the Neighbours smoking all night). Kitchen dishes could definitely use some updating- very few plates, bowls which meant we had to run dishwasher after every meal/ snack or wash by hand. No drinking glasses except big wine glasses which are not conducive for kids or the hot tub. A bit of attention and this place could be fantastic.

The location is wonderful as are the accommodations. Roman was very easy to talk to and quickly addressed one minor issue (bad sound coming from one TV, nothing major). I would not hesitate recommending staying at this VRBO, it was a great experience. Thanks!

This place was excellent- it is beautifully finished, very comfortable, and the location is excellent. We enjoyed lots of space for us and our two little kids. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely space. The shower is awesome and the beds are very comfortable. Only slight downside is the tv in the living room - with the vaulted ceilings it is very difficult to hear the tv without turning it way up. The sound quality was poor but as we were on a getaway to enjoy the lovely location this didn’t really bother us at all. The owner responds quickly and check in was very easy. We love staying at this place!

Highly recommended! Will definitely rent again.

The condo was very well laid out and met our family of four's needs. We had space to spread out and make ourselves at home. The kitchen was great and we cooked all of our meals there during our trip. Having the ability to do laundry throughout our stay was wonderful. We also enjoyed the hot tub after our long days of hiking. We were worried that Canmore was farther away from the areas we were visiting in Banff, but it was actually turned out to be a great home base. It is in a very convenient location and the town of Canmore is great. Canmore, Banff National Park, and Jasper National Park were all incredibly beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the area.
