The house itself, and the location were fabulous - on the water, in a great area of Delmar. I have stayed in dozens of rentals like this . Where this house really lacked was in “amenities.“ There was no user manual to explain the house, there was no coffee, even a small amount, to get you through to the next morning. There was no sense of welcome or personal touches from the host. The fireplace was dirty - no firewood on site. I had to text management regarding where to buy firewood. This lack of attention was typical: no ice, (the ice maker was broken,) no broom - it’s on a beach, so there’s sand in the house, no soap - It all added up to a lack of good service. But we had a great time, and it’s a lovely location.

The location is hard to beat. The management was very responsive and helpful. A few things could be improved, but we had an overall pleasant stay. We had a minor ceiling leak with some dripping water for a short time. The stove was a bit hard to use. It took a really long time to boil a pot of water. The house lacks some of the comforts of a modern home or comfy furnishings, but that’s probably why the price is so much lower than anywhere else with a location like this. Worth it!

The house is tremendous in size and location. This ocean front spot is perfectly situated and it feels like a private beach. the HUGE living room is perfect for larger groups and the bedrooms are spread out so there's still great privacy. There's enough parking for six or seven cars, which is always an issue near the beach. the media room is a bonus!

Location, location, location. Hard to be the location.

This is an excellent location with lots of room! The weather was wonderful and we had an amazing time with our family at this house.

This house is perfect for a many, many person get together. So many rooms and floors, everyone can find what they enjoy. The location is like no other, biggest reason to rent this house.
