We had such a lovely stay, communication from Dionysia was excellent, she arranged for someone to meet us in the neighbouring village to guide us to the Villa. The property is situated in a quiet location, it was so peaceful there, the photos don’t do it justice. Supermarket, bakery and 2 tavernas are about a mile away but we never walked it, the car was necessary. Panayiota (housekeeper) was so lovely, she welcomed us like family. I can’t express enough how lovely both Dionysia and Panayiota were, my wife was ill on arrival and both ladies offered help and checked in the following day to see if we needed assistance. Thank you both for making this a special holiday, we were sad to leave and would return without hesitation.

We have stayed in many private holiday rentals and this one lived up to all our expectations. From the direct communication with Dionysia which was prompt and efficient, to meeting with Panagiota, whose hard work meant the Villa was perfect in every way. It had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. Thank you both for your attention to detail. We will definitely be back.

Kalliroi lived up to all our expectations. We were met by Penny in the village and led to the villa, where we had the pleasure of meeting Dionysia in person as well. The villa is beautifully situated, and delightfully presented; everything was just so ... perfect! As everyone else mentions - the shower is wonderful. But so are the pool, the terrace and the gardens. Tranquil and relaxing. Penny came to change sheets, bedding and tidy up on three times - she is a delight too! No wonder she is referred to as Dionysia's Right Hand, and a fount of all knowledge. You definitely need a car, but that allowed us to enjoy the highlights of wine tastings near San Gerasimo, and near Lixouri, as well as getting to several of the beaches. The underground lake, and the caves were well worth a visit. Agia Effimia is a few minutes away, as is Myrtos Beach - both worth several visits. But it was always good to get back to "base" and enjoy the pool and the villa. Many thanks to Dionysia and Penny - it more than exceeded our hopes and expectations.

We knew that Kalliroi was going to be special as soon as we booked and it more than lived up to our expectations. So private and peaceful, we spent our evenings watching shooting stars, bats, owls, and listening to the goats and the donkey down in the valley.The villa was exquisite and the pool beautiful. We slept brilliantly and didn't want to leave. Dionysia was charming and helpful, assisted brilliantly by Panayiota who looked after us during our stay. Would love to come back it was bliss!❤️🇬🇷

We had the most wonderful time at Kalliroi! It was just perfect. The villa is beautifully designed both in terms of comfort and aesthetics. I could have cried when we first arrived at just how wonderful it all was. The pool was amazing with beautiful views and such a nice, warm temperature! I could have spent the whole time just swimming up and down with the sun on my face, surrounded by the beautiful scenery and listening to the gentle buzz of insects and the occasional bray of a near by donkey. The gardens were so pretty and lush. It was easy to see just how much work went into creating such a Utopia. The villa itself was so comfortable with great air-conditioning, a large comfy bed, a fab bathroom with a loo you could flush paper down (yay!), and so many beautiful touches which just heightened the experience further. We both felt so lucky to be there! The villa is well situated close to Agia Effimia which has lots of Tavernas. Dionysia, the host, was resposive, helpful and just lovely. You could tell she wanted her guests to have the most amazing time. Panagiota, who came in to clean twice during our 10 day stay, was so friendly and warm and welcoming and did an amazing job. She is a credit to Kalliroi. I literally can't praise this place enough. There was, however, one quite large problem - we didn't want to leave!!!!! Thank you so much! We hope we can return one day! Absolutely gorgeous villa on the beautiful island of Kefalonia. Really good location for visiting all parts of the island and really kind and attentive host. The villa is well-equipped with everything you could need and extremely clean and picturesque. We had an amazing time-thank you so much!

We had the most relaxing holiday staying in this amazing villa set in beautiful gardens overlooking the countryside and mountains beyond. Dionysia has created a fabulous home with an interior that we loved. It had everything we could want to make our stay comfortable. Panagiota the housekeeper was lovely, always greeting us with a smile as she started her morning. The villa is a short drive to the little port of Agia Effimia with lots of lovely tavernas and close to the beautiful Myrtos beach. We also visited Assos and enjoyed the walk to the castle ruins with its amazing views. We would highly recommend this villa, its exceptional with a great host.

What an amazing property, in the peaceful hills above Agia Efimia. Dionysia has created a wonderful space - ideally for couples looking for a fantastic villla, very private but also less than 10 minutes from Agia Efimia. Done to a very high standard, it's bright, well equipped and comes with it's own swimming pool and wonderful views. Communication throughout was really responsive, friendly and proactive. We had the most wonderful 11 days here and would recommend to anyone looking for a private space, to a high quality, yet with easy access to the best Kefalonia offers.

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Kalliroi. The villa is incredibly peaceful and private and we had the most relaxing time. The highlight was the beautiful swimming pool and garden, but the villa itself was well furnished, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed (including excellent air conditioning). It was great to be just a short drive from Myrtos Beach, Assos and Agia Effimia, and we have to give a special mention too for Panagiotta, the housekeeper, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, very highly recommended.

This property looks even better in real life as in the photos. It’s clean, well equipped and stylishly furnished. We loved our lazy days by the lovely pool, enjoying the setting. The villa is a great base to explore nearby beaches and restaurants. Dionysia couldn’t have been more helpful. If it’s available, book it, you can’t go wrong!

The villa is just like the pictures show - perfect size for a couple and decorated beautifully with well equipped kitchen and fantastic shower. It's also in a great spot, away from the more touristy areas and you can only hear goat bells and donkeys - bliss! Dionysia was helpful and prompt with any questions we had and Panagiota was great, meeting us nearby and driving us to the villa. The eggs and strawberries were delicious and they had left wine and flowers for my birthday which was lovely. The place is immaculate, there is a utility room underneath with a washing machine and iron and the pool and hugely comfortable loungers were great when the sunshine appeared. We had a lovely time and found it a very relaxing stay. We are planning to visit different islands as we love Greece but if we returned to Kefalonia, this would be where we would stay.

Palace of Serenity is the best way to describe this beautiful villa, we have stayed in many villas and Dionsyia has created a home from home, its has a strange calming effect which is perfect to help you wind down, it’s a perfect base to explore everything Cephalonia has to offer. We was met by Panayiota on our arrival and she welcomed us like family, she was really helpful with tips on where to eat and explore. The fridge was laden with fresh Eggs, Strawberries, Water, Milk, we were also supplied with Coffee Pods & Tea, We will definitely rebook Kalliroi again in the near future. Thank You Dionsyia👍

Kalliroi is wonderful in every sense! Whilst the villa itself has been superbly designed and the attention to detail in every aspect is second to none, as always, it’s the human touch that makes the difference. Dionysia always responds to emails promptly, offering great tips and advice to ensure we got the most out of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Panagiota was there to greet us from the moment we arrived; her friendliness and genuine pleasure to provide advice on places to visit (with a bit of local history too!) as well as coming in to clean a couple of times during the week was more than we could have wished for. She’s an absolute ‘gem’. I know we were your last guests for the season (end October) and so pleased you were able to accommodate us. We loved it and couldn’t have wished for anything more perfect. Villa Kalliroi is the personification of the word ‘sublime’. The location of the villa is perfect. Perched up on the hillside with complete privacy and stunning views across the valley. Sami, frequented by the boating fraternity with its laid back vibe and plethora of cafes, tavernas and bars ended up being one of our favourite spots. The same could be said for Agia Effimia. A bustling, yet relaxed and ambient atmosphere, is truly lovely! Assos & Myrtle Beach are spectacular and all of these are all within a short drive from the villa. It really is the perfect spot in Kefalonia. The villa itself is stunning. In every regard. From the fully equipped and practical kitchen, to the wonderful shower in the bathroom (water pressure is great!!), to the linen bedding, and supremely comfortable and large bed). The way the living spaces spill into the outdoor spaces are fluid and considered and the swimming pool is an absolute feature of the property. The outside shower with both hot and cold taps was immensely useful (we loved the shower taps) and the outside space as a whole was perfect. The attention to detail is absolutely commendable and the feeling that you are staying in someone’s home, as opposed to a holiday rental, is palpable. Dionysia has impeccable taste and this is apparent in aspects of the villa and Panagiota who does the housekeeping is an absolute delight. There were so many highlights of this particular trip that it makes is impossible to list them all. It’s such a shame that Dionysia has not created additional properties with a similar specification as we have already noted you need to book quickly to secure your dates as Kalliroi gets booked up very quickly, and understandably so. I could even imagine that Dionysia would no longer need to list her property from the repeat business that she must enjoy. Bravo Dionysia! If you can find an available date, book it! We can absolutely assure you that you will not be disappointed…

We absolutely loved every moment of our stay at Kalliroi. The villa was stunning : 5 star with a creative flair that was exquisite and tastefully delivered. It continued into the outdoor space with an amazing pool area, a relaxed place for coffee or reading a book and a simple dining area with stunning views. It is a very accessible location - car is required, if you, like us want to explore this beautiful island. After the days adventures it was wonderful to know you were coming home to this sanctuary. Dionysia, the host was extremely helpful from the moment we booked to supporting us with car hire, restaurant options, taxis and ensuring a warm welcome even though we arrived late at night. A wonderful, luxurious escape, with wrap-around, beautiful views. The lovely chic style of the villa is so relaxing; comfortable bed; amazing shower; pretty views from every window and a kitchen that makes easy work of meal preparation. The beautiful terrace, gorgeous pool and garden (so many lovely flowers) made it difficult for us to pull our selves away to explore the wonderful island!! We will miss breakfast/dinner and sundowners on the terrace, listening to goat bells, the irate donkey, cicadas and bird song. Loved seeing the turtles at Agostoli, the lovely Agia and Sami where tavernas are virtually on the beach. Also thoroughly enjoyed a walk from Ag Gerasimos monastery and old Valsamata ruins from the earthquake. Thank you to the kind and gracious Dionysia for sharing your stunning villa! Kalliroi was absolutely immaculate and beautiful. Felt like a place straight out of a magazine. The pool was incredible, and large, positioned so it has sun all day round. It's very close to some of the best areas in Kefalonia so you will always have something to do. The interior design is super modern and classy and you feel at home as soon as you enter. It's very private and you'll only hear the nearby wildlife and cicadas, truly peaceful. And to top it all off, the owner Dionysia stopped at nothing to make sure we had the best stay and gave us some amazing recommendations. Panagiota the housekeeper is an angel and helped us out with anything we needed to know. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. 100% recommend this to anyone contemplating it, don't have doubts about it!! Josh & Mae

You honestly couldn’t ask for more, this place is just wonderful in every respect. The house is really well equipped (must also say that the shower is excellent!) and the pool is one of the nicest we have seen. The grounds too are beautiful and you can really see how much thought has gone into them. To top it off, the location of the villa is excellent, giving you quick easy access to many top spots, including Myrtos beach (10 min drive), Assos (20 min drive - a must!) and Fiskardo (35 min drive) We will most definitely be back!

This property is truly beautiful! Such a gorgeous setting! Private, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Dionysia is a graceful and helpful host! Her maid who met us was full of information and suggestions for island activities and ferry schedules. In our two weeks of travel across Greece, this was the perfect spot to relax and wrap up the end of our journey. Myrtos beach is so close and a must see!! The Black Sheep restaurant just down the road was right up top with the best meals we experienced in ALL of Greece.. must try!! Villa Kalliroi lives up to its title - it is beautiful. The villa, internally and externally, is finished to the highest craftmanship standards. Very tranquil location and ideal for visiting various places on Kefalonia (also Ithika if desired) and/or just relaxing. Well equipped for cooking in and would recommend local taverna Makrotika (4 min. drive) and Paradise Beach taverna (12 min drive in Agia Efemia). Richard & Arlene

We had an amazing stay at the villa. From the start we were made to feel welcomed and settled with a lovely greeting from the house keeper. The small touches of eggs, bread, milk and chocs were a really lovely touch. The Villa itself is set in the most idyllic spot, surrounded by mountains and trees, there is complete privacy. It is also equipped with all the amenities you could need! The nearest tavernas are around a 20-30 minute stroll away which serve amazing local cuisines. From the friendly host who couldn't do enough to make our stay special, to the beautiful tranquill villa, we couldn't recommend this place enough. We left feeling very relaxed and wanting to return. Thank you for a wonderful trip 😊

If you want to get away from it all then I can't think of a better place. Well equipped, private, lovely pool. Nearest taverna is 30 minutes walk.

If you are even thinking about booking this villa, just go ahead and do it. My husband and I spent almost a week here for our honeymoon and there is no way to overstate the perfection of our stay. The villa is beautifully appointed and Dionysia has considered every possible need - basic groceries we’re waiting for us as well as a celebratory bottle of Prosecco and a sweet card. The location was excellent - after the first half of every day by the pool we’d go explore the many available beaches and it was an easy drive to town for groceries and wonderful dinners. This was absolutely perfect and we will back as soon as we can manage it.

Such a beautiful little house for 2. Wonderfully designed and thought about to the smallest detail to ensure we had a superb stay. Quiet and so peaceful - a really perfect escape. Excellent Swimming pool and landscaped garden, comprehensive kitchen and laundry facilities. Only 25 minutes to Antisamos beach and 10 mins to Myrtos and inexpensive eating places in Agia. The owner Dionysia and the housekeeper Penny are a real delight and so helpful. We will return!
