I have stayed at this home 2 years now. It is a fantastic place to spend a few days unwinding and looking at the changing colors of the ocean from the porch. Great beds. I always want to buy a new bed after staying here.

House has been recently renovated and had all of the amenities you could possibly need. We had the beach to ourselves which is literally right out the front door! Will definitely be back!

Very clean and one of the best spots on the beach. Not too close to town. My only complaint is had trouble getting into the front door. But the house manager was prompt with letting us know how to do it. The door would stick some. Had no problems after that. Would stay again!

Our check in date was the day after Hurricane Ian hit the SC coast. The owner/manager of the property, Misty, proactively reached out to provide us with status from the ground so we could determine whether to make the 8-hour drive for our vacation week or not. She sent pictures and kept us up all the way through our decision to leave Sunday instead of Saturday and she sent pictures of the outside of the property so we knew exactly what we were about to walk into. I can't say enough positive things about how Misty handled our volatile situation. When we arrived there was still water in the parking below the home which Misty said there would be, but it was being syphoned and was gone within hours after we arrived that Sunday. This home was perfect for our family (4 large adults, one large teenager and one 10 year old). The location is perfect and the home is appointed in a way that you know the owners put lots of thought into everything. They thought of everything! Icemaker, margarita machine, everything you could need in a kitchen, super cool blinds in all the rooms, TVs in every room and a big TV in the living area...i could go on and on. It really was the best house we have stayed in at Folly which we have been going to since 2004. It was perfect for our family and our kids said it was the best vacation we have ever been on. Mission accomplished!! One more thing about the owners. As i said earlier, we showed up a day after our vacation was supposed to begin. I never requested reimbursement for that day and didn't have to. They reached out to let me know they were sending me the money for that day and THEY worked with Vacasa to get them to send the taxes for that day. There kindness was evident in their actions and their thoughtful home aesthetics. We can't say enough about our entire experience on this vacation that we had almost lost from a hurricane. Truly was the best beach vacation ever!!

This was our second time at this property. We love the house so much! We could literally step off the deck into the ocean! My youngest cried when it was time to leave, but we assured her we’d be back. 💕 Protip: the queen beds are more comfortable than the king imo, especially the one with the Jack and Jill bathroom 😁

The house was perfect for our small group. It was right on the beach, private, and had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the wonderful covered porch to eat meals and watch the sunset. The hosts were very responsive. We've stayed at Folly several times and it was one of our favorite locations.

The house we stayed in was not used for the wedding venue, but we did the bridal party staging. It was perfect. The stay was perfect. And having the family together (SC, TX, CA, and PA) was beyond words!

Very comfortable home on one level with easy access to beach. One adult in our trip was recovering from a total knee replacement surgery and was able to sit on the beach with family every day. Kitchen is well stocked, furniture appropriate for the number of maximum occupancy (we had 7) and many added amenities were included in this rental; ice machine, beach towels, chairs and toys to name a few. The location is quiet but close to a public access parking lot which was used by surfers every day. We enjoyed watching them. This was our first time on Folly for our family beach reunion and we had a wonderful time

The description was spot on! Beautiful home with a private beach. They had everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach vacation! My husband and I, our 7 children and our daughter’s fiancé had a blast!! Thank you to the Sand Bar!

I enjoyed the large porch and decks overlooking the ocean. They were the favorite gathering spots. We loved the privacy of the beach and the quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was great. Living area needs updating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Sand Bar. The layout of bedrooms fit our group very well!

Wanted to give a shout out to the owners of this property - there were so many unique and special touches that we haven't seen before - everything from the extra beach toys to the games to the binoculars to the extras everywhere in the kitchen. Made for a really nice week with some extended family. Really enjoyed the back porch area - it was shaded the entire day, and is very private back there. Loved it!

Owners were wonderful, great communication and clear check in information. The house is even better than the pictures show!

This is such a wonderful rental property. The beds are amazing, the kitchen was well appointed and the beach is right outside the back door !! The whole family just loved the week.

The location and home are 10 star. Owners were responsive and available. We had the best week at the beach and also enjoy 2 excursions into Charleston. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great location, a little slice of your own beach!

We stayed three nights in this beautiful home in May. The check in was a breeze. The house was very clean and had all of the necessary needs for a family. The beds were very comfortable and the location exceptional. We walked the beach many times and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, dolphin sightings and the fishing pelicans. It wouldn't take much to convince us to come back again. :)

Absolutely loved this property! The location was perfect for a girls weekend on the beach. Plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out with comfortable and clean bedrooms. The deck overlooking the ocean was perfect for early morning coffees and twilight happy hour. Great restaurants located nearby (Taco Boy and Rita’s) but we also took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and Instacart to make some meals in. We will be back!

Sand Dune is perfect. The owners were incredibly flexible and generous with respect to rescheduling due to COVID. The property itself is beautiful and the perfect location. We felt like we were had our own private beach. The back porch is perfect for dinners and just sitting to read while still hearing the sound of the ocean. Lots of amenities, including beach towels, chairs and boards! We could not have asked for a better experience and will be back.

This home was perfect for our family! We couldn’t have asked for more. The house was so clean and welcoming and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy ourselves. The porch was a dream and where we spent most of our time. This was our favorite beach house we’ve ever rented! Thank you!

Right on the beach where surf lessons are given in front of the house, so bring your surf board. Well appointed with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards, skim boards and even fishing poles already rigged up. Inside has plenty of cooking utensils, games, TVs in every bedroom, upscale showers, vey comfy beds-as good as Hyatt, and even a “shaved ice” making machine that we used to make frozen margaritas. If you don’t have a great time, it’s not the house or location.

This beautiful house was perfect for our multigenerational trip from Nebraska to the ocean. The bedroom/bathroom setup was ideal for 3 family units. The kitchen was well equipped; a modern laundry room with an amazing number of beach towels, and toys/chairs and umbrellas for the beach. If you are looking for a gorgeous setting on the Atlantic ocean this should really be your place!

The house had everything we could have asked for in a rental plus more that we wouldn’t have even thought to ask for! Great location. House is in great shape. We will stay here again.

This home is lovely. Great location and everything we needed was there. We Have rented many houses at Folly Beach, all much larger, and none of them compare with how well stocked this property is. We loved it.

We spent a memorable week relaxing and exlporing with family. The Sandbar is fully stocked with anything you could need on vacation, which made our stay easy and trouble free. We had an amazing ocean view and spent so many hours on the deck. This was the best beach vacation in years, and we will be back!

What a perfect week filled with family memories made! Owning our own family business it is so difficult to plan in advance for summer vacation. This summer was even harder with a baby due less than two weeks away. We are so thankfulbfor the availability of your house. The accomodations were everything we needed.
