Arrived on a Friday and the checkin was a breeze. Talked with the manager a few days beforehand about dinning and activities in the area. Very nice home and had everything we needed. Relaxing fire pit by the river that was really nice with a big open yard. If we are in the area again we will be looking to come back!

This home is beautiful, clean, & peaceful. Jamie, one of the owner/managers, checked in with us before & after our stay & just made us feel so welcome. We were in town for a funeral & having such a restful place to return to was very nice. Our teenager was also well taken care of with the stellar entertainment/living space in the lower level. I would give this place six stars if I could!

Enjoyed the shady tree by the river. There was plenty to do on the property, from the game room to watching boats on the river. My whole family (aged 2 to 88) loved the stay.

Stayed in this house with seven others for four days. It was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Great view of the river. Plenty of parking for four cars. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Check in could not have been easier. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend.

Literally everything was perfect!! Our host went above and beyond and made us feel welcome and at home. The house was spotless, happy, it’s even prettier than the photos. We will definitely stay again. I can’t recommend it enough!

We chose the Rock Riverside Retreat for a belated family Christmas, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The home was large enough to accommodate 14 guests and extremely comfortable. We had enough space to spread out and there were also some cozy gathering spaces, including a sitting area with a wonderful fireplace. The kitchen was large and well-equipped--lots of cooking happened that weekend! Our host, Jaime was extremely easy to communicate with. Rave reviews from all!

The Rock River Retreat was the perfect place for an extended family weekend. There was a total of 14 guests and this house accommodated everyone in extreme comfort. We had ample room to spread out and there were also plenty of great gathering spaces. The view of the river from the west side of the house is breathtaking--we spotted bald eagles all during the weekend! Communication with our host, Jaime was super easy and whenever I contacted her with a question I received a response within minutes. It was a family consensus that we would come back here whenever we wanted to get together!

The house is great! We had 3 generations of family staying there for 4 days/nights. It works very well for large groups, as there is ample space, with multiple living areas. It worked well to gather together, as well as to give different groups their own space as desired. The kids loved the game room and closet full of board games. The kitchen and everything in the house is very well-stocked. They even pulled out a couple of high chairs for our little ones. The big back yard right on the river is amazing. The property owner was extremely helpful and proactively communicated, providing all info needed, including great recommendations on activities in the area. The location is terrific....easy to get to parks, walking/running paths, and downtown. I highly recommend this home, especially for large families / groups.

We found the house to be more than accommodating. Plenty of room for all. It was clean and well equipped. The front yard was huge with a nice little sandy beach. Our age range was 3-84 and everyone felt comfortable. They have so many indoor and outdoor games. We had trouble deciding on which ones to play. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Thanks Jaime for making our weekend perfect! Only raving reviews for the hosts!!

We had adequate room, beautiful views and easy access to the sandy beach! The house was so comfortable, just like home. Plenty of front yard for games to be set up, and, by the way, they have so many game activities that you will find so many things to do both indoors and out. Very pleased with our experience!

You never know exactly what to expect when you book online for a vacation home. This beautiful lake house absolutely exceeded all expectations, seriously! It was so clean, looked recently updated and so comfortable. There was a beautiful downstairs area that had a walk out to a lower level porch, small kitchenette and family room area. Also two bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. This area worked well for our two younger adults and their husbands. The upstairs was roomy, plenty of seating areas and a very well appointed kitchen with room for a few of us to move around. This walked out to a large deck area overlooking a very large yard and Rock river. Upstairs also had three bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms. There was also a 1/2 bath off the kitchen. There were 10 of us for three nights and we had such a great time. We visited two wineries, played yard games, fished of the pier and just relaxed. The owners were easy to contact, helpful and so very nice. We loved it! Thank you again, so much!

The home was perfect for our family (9) Christmas get together. Extremely well kept! The rooms were large enough for all to gather, open presents and play games. Kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs. Rooms have beautiful views of the river, we even saw a couple of eagles. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. Answered our questions very promptly. This property blessed our family with amazing Christmas memories despite a pandemic! Definitely recommend this beautiful home and hope to return!

We stayed with 5 girls for two nights. The place is perfect. We all had our separate bedrooms, lots of space and a good equipped kitchen. We went for a hike on the ice age trail just a few minutes by car from the house. And while we were inside we enjoyed the view of the river. Very nice place!

I have never been in a property like theirs! Usually at the end of a vacation I am ready to get back to my own bed, but in this case it was totally different. My family and I did not want to leave !! We truly enjoyed our get away at the Rock River retreat this past week. The view of the river and the big backyard was a hit with all of the family and children. The house was very clean and spacious. The owners were easy to communicate with and accommodating during our stay. We had a little mishap with the master shower not working, but otherwise everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back in the future!

This was the perfect place to relax and reset during the Covid Crisis. The home was comfortable and clean. The yard was perfect for water play and games for the kids. The river view was serene. Most of all, the homeowners were easily accessible and kind. We cant wait to come back again!

Very spacious house with two separate living areas, great for two families or large groups. Large backyard directly on the river with plenty of seating and fire pit. Perfect for relaxing evenings. House is decorated wonderfully. Everything you need is included. We brought our small fishing boat and had trouble turning into the driveway. It is a shared driveway with a sharp ninety degree turn. If we had known we would have put it in the water and docked it first. Not a big deal at all. Great area, close to downtown. We spent Saturday morning, shopping at the farmer’s market and grabbing coffee in the older downtown area. We visited in October, so it was a bit chilly for fishing and boating, but can imagine during summertime what an active and fun vacation it would be!
