Our stay at this beach house was wonderful! The house was beautiful and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Checking in and out was super easy and management kept in touch to ensure our stay was going well. The house was very cleaned and I was even able to smell the cleanliness which was so important to us during the pandemic The location of the home was amazing as well. This is a well maintained, clean house. I was delighted to find this house on the ocean outside of the Folly Beach city center (it was crazy crowded during Memorial Day weekend, but thinned out considerably after the holiday). This house is smaller than what I typically rent but suited our family fine. Large kitchen with comfortable great room. It was so nice to sit on the front porch (when it wasn't too windy) and watch the surfers. The back deck is nice too and you can see the lighthouse and sunset from here. Great location with the beach right in front of you and two wonderful decks! Next to a pier for easy access- Enjoyed watching sunrise and moon rise! Big kitchen, plenty of communal space. Really wonderful place for cooking and watching movies. All the bedrooms are far apart so there was lots of privacy as well. We’re already thinking about our return trip!! This was our first time at Folly beach but we’re hooked!

Great location, great views. Could use more blankets (each bed had only a sheet and a coverlet) and more seating on the upstairs deck (only one place to sit). Kitchen nicely stocked, clean, good response time to my questions.

Paradise at The Washout is a lovely beach house in a quiet neighborhood that is a short golf cart ride to Center Street with its restaurants and shops. The house has wonderful views of the ocean with immediate access across the street. Know that Folly Beach has 2 low AND high tides daily -- at high tide there is no beach. We had 6 people which was perfect - everyone had their own bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and there were plenty of bath towels. The washer/dryer is great to have, especially if you're there for a week. The only suggestion we have is to update the guidebook with the following: Front Door Lock: Wait 10-15 seconds for the code to activate. Otherwise, you'll think it's not working (like we did) TV: Uses 2 remotes - one for power/volume and the other for channels. We called the property management company who promptly sent someone out to show us (thanks Tripp!) Thermostat: Never figured it out. There are remotes all over the house but none seemed to adjust the temperature. It was icy cold so we just turned them off which did the trick. However, for those who stay here in the hottest months, you'll want to know how that works! The above were small things and nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the home. We rented beach chairs, towels, umbrellas (doesn't come with house) as well as corn hole which we played in the backyard - fun pastime for get-togethers! Enjoy!

Our family of 6 stayed here while we visited Charleston. It was a great combo of beach and fun city. The property was just as described. Very clean, we enjoyed our stay. Property owners responded quickly to any inquiries we had. We would return again !!

We really enjoyed the house. Because it was a late summer trip the beach was so nice.

The house was in a good location but the house needs some attention, we couldn't open the blinds since the cords were broken on almost all the windows, lots ants, outside hose had hole so it was hard to wash down our fee from sand, bedroom tvs didn't work, didn't find any big pan to cook for a larger famiky, etc.

Had a great time. Didn’t know there was no beach at high tide and needed to go to the pier to find beach. Had a great time. THe surfers in our group we’re very happy.

This is a perfect beach house in a great location at the washout! The house had everything we needed to stay in and grill for dinner every night. We had a maintenance issue with AC leak, and only reason I am mentioning is because we had a prompt response from Mgmt. and a vendor was sent quickly to repair on Sat nite of a holiday weekend. Great customer service!!

reserving, pre-arrival, check-in were well-coordinated and efficient. property was open and offered splendid views of beach and ocean. kitchen was well-appointed. parking accommodates 5-6 on driveways. Four Mitsubishi inverters provide customized temperature control.

9 neighborhood ladies needed a place to get away for some beach relaxation & shopping and this was exactly what we were looking for! Great location for relaxed beach time, fun trips to Charleston to shops, great restaurant choices on Folly and Charleston & Mt Pleasant. House was great!

This house has a wonderful, quiet location just across the street from the beach. My sisters and I loved walking the beach, watching the surfers, and enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If We came back we’d think about renting bikes to get into town (lots of fun restaurants) instead of always having to hop in the car.

We had a party of seven. The house was very clean and everything was ready for us. The location was outstanding. About fifty feet to beach access in the quieter area of the beach. Loved the sound of the surf! The home was well stocked in the kitchen area but we ate out (heck, we are on vacation!) except for breakfast. We had two minor issues: the blinds were not functioning well so we asked for maintenance to manually lower them all and we just used the controls to open/close the slats. We had an immediate response & fixed it the next day. Same when the ice machine portion of the refrigerator stopped making ice (critical!). Again, quick response & fix - changed the water filter. Al did a great job and Ocean Rentals is very responsive to ensure everything is good for you! All in all, a memorable family get-together and definitely worth a return.

This is a great house and location. Our grandsons loved every minute of the beach and watching the surfers from the balcony of the house. Everything was clean and neat. All the beds very comfortable for everyone in our family. No complaints here.

House was just as described and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, everything was clean and ready upon arrival. Stayed here with 2 young boys and they loved their room. Plenty of space for everyone to have their area. Had a small air conditioning issue, that was our own error, but the property manager was swift to come by and take a look as AC took priority! We were thankful for that and for his quick response to our small inquiries. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house. Lots of surfers in the water. Wonderful entertainment while sipping wine on either of the two front porches!

This is a beautiful house with perfect distance from the beach. Plenty room for everyone and fully stocked with most of what you will need for your stay. We did have some issues with the door deadbolts but let front desk know. Even with them not working properly we felt very safe! Great neighborhood.

Wow! What a beautiful property in a spectacular location. We had so much fun watching the surfers. We took the 2.5 mile beach walk to Morris Lighthouse and got to see dolphins playing in the water. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the sunrise/sunsets were gorgeous. If you visit Folly, this is the perfect place to stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
