The room was a large room in a Swiss Chalet type building. It included a large kitchen, bedroom with very comfortable bed, large bathroom and sitting area with a shared outside patio. When we arrived there was no crockery or cutlery in the apartment but you just need to ask reception and they brough a whole crate of crockery and utensils to the room. The site is just a 10 minute walk to Gate 3 of Plitvice Lakes National Park, so access to the park was quick and easy. The park itself is stunningly beautiful.

The restaurant food was OK but nothing to write home about. As the hotel is a little off the beaten track we didn't really have any choice but to eat there or take the car to the next village.

would definitely recommend etno gardens! it was so pretty and peaceful and the apartment was amazing. bed was so comfortable, shower was hot, grounds are well kept and peaceful. suuuper close and easy walk to the national park. breakfast buffet was great! note - they are cash only and the dinner was “meh” so might be worth bringing more food to cool, they have everything you need if you ask for kitchen supplies.

Excellent location, no more than 300m to entrance number 3 to the Park. Peaceful and beautiful facilities, with delicious food and great and friendly staff. Dominic recommendations make our stay really enjoyable. Also, they are really pet friendly and our dog Siena had a wonderful time.

We liked everything

Personel was very friendly and helpfull, handover of keys was very quick. Apartment is nice, specious and very clean. Bathroom was big and modern. Bed was comfortable with great pillows. Accomodation had A/C. Surrounding nature is very calm. Parking in front of the building. Very close to Plitvice lakes. You can go there by walk if you manage to buy online tickets.

It was not possible to pay by card (but staff helped and navigated to ATM machine 5 minutes by walk). Breakfast was quite expensive. Dinner even more, so we skipped it and choose restaurant in the city. Even when we paid in local currency and in room was price list in local currency, stuff calculated it from EUR so it was slightly different (higher).
