Service was excellent - friendly staff that were always more than happy to help. The special arrangements for the local Etape event were greatly appreciated. Also, great water pressure in the shower.

The receptionist in the health club was a little rude.

I had to go ask for fresh towels and was informed that you need to request them. Which I found rather strange

Excellent breakfast, fresh fruit on offer which I like.

The evening meal (delicious) was served & the cutlery arrived 5 mins later.

Leisure facilities.

Food was terrible and over priced. Very noisy. Bed sheets had blood stains on them. No blanket provided for cot bed.

Room was surprisingly very very spacious and comfortable. Room was neat and tidy and welcoming as guests were given access to the drinks and snacks without extra charges. Advanced check in very convenient.

The menu need a look at. You should be asking the question why people are not eating in very much.

Hottest jacuzzi we’ve used during a hotel stay! Lovely lukewarm pool also, the rooms were snug but clean and comfortable, all staff were lovely and accommodating especially the day shift as we were given a free breakfast after complementing them on the food, to enjoy the last morning of our stay. Would highly recommended and will be staying again.

Rooms were a little warm at night but that’s just my preference.

The bed is comfortable.

The toilet and shower are moldy. The door to the toilet is faulty. The doors to the rooms shut very loudly which wakes everyone up in the middle of the night.

Pool, spa, beds.

View from room window to the leisure centre roof with rubbish on the flat bit, so not a nice view. Just like at the theatre you should let the customer know when views from your room are low quality. Room needing paint, lots of marks on walls made it look dirty. Shower had slow drain, dirty floor, mould on grout, bottom of door peeling. Food from restaurant was poor. Cheese and spinach "Pizzeta" and kids pizza was a cold roll bread with cheese on top, and 3 spinach leaves... didn't eat it as it tasted as it looked. Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Far too expensive for what we got. We thought it would be a little treat on our holidays from Australia but not worth the money we paid. So disappointed. Husband stayed there 20 years ago, unfortunately the passing of time has not been kind to the hotel.

The room was clean.

Unfortunately there just was not enough staff on for how busy it was, considering it is the height of Inverness tourist season and there were plenty tourists the staffing level just didn't match, the ones they did have were trying there best however you definitely felt they were under manned. When asked about menu items the young girl unfortunately didn't know the menu items and went as far to say shed never seen the dish which didn't give us much faith. The menu itself reads well however whats presented doesn't live up.

- nice staff - clean room - nice indoor swimming pool and spa area, although not only for hotel guests so can be busy - good location if you have a car

- small room - swimming pool is open to external guests and can get busy - outdated bathroom without manual shower
