Great Apartment, balcony spacious

Too clinical inside, not enough home comforts, no kettle/toaster, pictures on the wall. More like a Hotel room.

The apartments are a 10 minute walk from the hotel we cillected keys from. Fantastic views direct line of beach. The amazing roogtop pool area is pretty quiet and private a lot of the day. The only other person tthere was a guy with his dog who took over one pool entirely. Then there were a family with a few smaller children(5c 3yr-8 yr old who took over the other pool entirely. Even tbough there is a sign saying NO DOGS or children under 10 at the roof pool.

Apartment did not have any basic equipment, only two toalet papers in each bathroom. Everything had to buy from store in the first place - handsoap, dushsoap, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap etc. Basic stuff that should always be there as a standard.

We had to pick up the apartment key at a hotel about a kilometer away, and put a 300 Euro damage deposit. We were given two sets of key and no other assistance. This “luxury apartment” does not have Wi-Fi and has NO internet. Which in 2022 is hard to imagine. Hotel reception told us to use the unsecured public beach Wi-Fi. We tried to connect, but had no success. Upon arrival to the apartment, it was very hot. We opened the door to the balcony to try to get some breeze. The temperature was 32 C+ and humid. The balcony sliding door was not an ordinary sliding door. We were not able to close it, then called several times hotel reception, but we got no assistance, other than sometime next day a maintenance person would attend. Reception was not able to tell us how to close the balcony door, nor program the AC. There were no instructions at all. The AC does NOT run unless all doors are fully closed. The AC control is also very complex, and needs to be programmed for each day and each hour of the week. It is not a typical AC control: heat or cool, temperature, and fan speed. The AC was not programmed. By 10:30 the next morning finally a maintenance person showed up to close the door, but we never saw the AC working. As a consequence of these problems, we had to book another hotel at 05:00. We checked out by 11 am the very next morning, because our 4 year old daughter could not sleep and was very uncomfortable . The maintenance person did confirm that there was no damage to the apartment and both sets of keys were returned. We are still awaiting confirmation that they have credited back the damage refund. So far, they have not refunded for nights not used (only one night should be charged). Never got to use anything in the apartment. Our experience at the Palmas 7 apartment, was the very low point of our holiday, which wasted a whole day our vacation, and very stressful. The rest of our holiday was fantastic. We definitely DO NOT recommend this apartment.

collect keys from a hotel so taxi had to stop & wait- if reception busy u might wait a good bit. too far away to walk with luggage

The top floor apartment had great views, apartment building directly opposite Platja de Ponent beach which was lovely. The apartment is modern in style and has a very open plan aspect. Room sizes were good. Well equipped kitchen with both washing machine and tumble dryer.

The floors were not washed before we arrived. There was no vacuum cleaner so we had to use a hand held dust pan and brush to sweep floors which is ridiculous! I mopped the floors clean myself and everyone’s feet and socks were literally black with dirt. Not good considering the high price we paid for this accommodation. The other thing which we did not like was the fact that the children’s bedroom had no bedside table or lamp. This is needed for future guests. The apartment should also have operating instructions for things like air conditioning, hob, microwave etc. No instructions or helpful information were provided.

Spent a fortune on general kitchen cleaning products..ie Kitchen Spray/Anti bac,washing up liquid,washing clothes tabs,liquid hand soap,would have loved a teatowel and a hoover,we did sweep and mop floors everyday.Left all these products behind wouldn't have minded paying extra for necessities instead of wasting them so kitchen welcome basket could be reviewed
