Die Lage dieser Anlage ist außerordentlich gut inmitten der Natur, mit Springböcken, Warzenschweinen und anderen ungefährlichen Tieren, die sich frei auf dem Grundstück bewegen konnten. Ferner sind die durchgeführten Touren durch einen hervorragenden Führer eine ganz besondere Freude gewesen - es gab 2 Touren, morgens und abends. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, freundlich und zugänglich, wenn es um etwas außergewöhnliche Wünsche ging. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Betten sehr gut und gegen Moskitos hervorragend geschützt. Toiletten waren auf dem gesamten Gebiet sehr sauber, die Bäder mit einer gut funktionierenden Dusche ebenfalls. Ganz klar eine Weiterempfehlung mit mindesten 5 Sternen - Ich fahre dort wieder hin

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Steven unser Safariguide hat den Aufenthalt noch perfekt gemacht. Mein Mann hatte seinen 60igsten Geburtstag und bekam zur Überraschung, eine sehr leckere Schokoladen Torte und ein Ständchen von der ganzen Crew . Vielen lieben Dank 🥰

We enjoyed the game, game ranger Agatha, and the facilities. Food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Would do it again.
Only comment was being able to hear the N2 at night.

the iniyala and wart hogs roaming around the property added to the ambience .
the chalet we stayed in had issues - air con/heater didn’t work; we were told they don’t give hand wash dispensers in the wash basin…eventually they provided ; ranger didn’t show much passion and enthusiasm for showing us around and finding game and knowledge wise didn’t appear to be well versed ; menu options extremely limited especially for vegetarians .

Everything was wow! Fabulous food, beautiful accommodation and an excellent game ranger. Animals came into the garden of the cottage to drink from the bird bath. Absolutely loved our stay at Rhino River Lodge and cried when we had to leave.

Guided game view trips were good and receptionist service was good
The food was absolutely below par and you had 2 options for dinner - your problem if you don't eat or like a dish. The breakfast at a Wimpy is better. The service at the restaurant was pathetic. The dishes etc in our cottage were dirty. Towels were not changed. The cleaners did not even change the empty toilet roll or clean the dustbin in the toilet.
Absolutely not wort the price. 25% value for the price. Worse experience ever.

We loved the stay in the two bedroom cottage which is perfectly appointed and really suited us as a couple and another family member. Lovely to have a private pool, although the main pool looked like a good place to relax as well. The staff were great and made sure my birthday was well celebrated. Very good Covid protocols, with dining tables and other guests kept appropriately socially distanced. The environment lends itself to this, in providing a variety of areas in which dining can take place. They also applied an impressive intuitive manner of separating us older folk from a family with a young child. Our ranger Bongani made the safari experience interesting, safe and most enjoyable.

Meals were good.however a South African brain around the Boma would have been great instead of Pork Belly served.as an African experience for foreign visitors
Our ranger Stuart drove too fast sometimes on game drive and not having patience for animals to cross our path.
Twice I thought he was going to hit the buck with the Jeep.it’S unacceptable

As the overall host Claire was amazing.
Extremely friendly staff who all work together as a team to make your stay memorable.
Game drive was very good with the ranger Hala who is extremely knowledgeable.
Games are included in the price.
Catering is very good and we loved the boma evening.
Absolutely nothing you can complain about at this winning lodge.

Food was excellent and staff were friendly and welcoming . Had a lovely atmosphere.
The room could have had a little maintenance done to it . Toilet leaked - although staff sorted that quickly .

Staying at Rhino river was a real adventure, we went on a total of 4 game drives with our ranger Bongoni. Bongoni is really skilled when it comes to spotting animals and their tracks, he carries a lot of knowledge for such a young ranger. The breakfast, lunch and dinner where nice and the general staff was very friendly and accessible.
Our room was in need of a bit of fresh paint, new kit in the bathroom corners and a new toilet brush, furthermore the bed linnen was a bit heavy and uncomfortable

We had a wonderful stay at Rhino River lodge. The facilities were fantastic and location was great as well. Their dinner around a fireplace, lodge bar made from wood and of course the wonderful rooms were beautiful.
Jo, the manager at the lodge, ensured we had a smooth check-in and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome drink. The lodge rangers were fantastic informative and made the game drives that much more interesting. We had Wilmi who was a fantastic guide.
All in all an amazing experience and a must do if you want a true feel of a game park.
Nothing really, I m sure the facilities will keep increasing which is something i guess would be a constant improvement.
