Lucio could not have been more helpful. Met us even though we were late and even got us booked into nearby restaurant for a late supper.

Third bedroom is really too small to be advertised as a bedroom. There is room for a bed but nothing else.

The view

The son of the owner met us and rushed to show us around the little house. The pool was not cleaned and had several millipedes, other bugs and leaves on the bottom. Kitchen desperately needs an update, the fridge hardly cools. There were no tabs for the dishwasher, Lucio told us we had to buy our own. The grill outside was nice but for the price per night it would be nice to have also some coal there. Furniture was old and smelled musky. Soap-holders in bathroom was falling apart. Needs a general update. On Booking it was mentioned that there would be a free baby cot available. When contacting the property they wanted 10 euros per night. When I sent them a screenshot where it was written that the cot was for free they still demanded 10 euros per night. Only after I contacted the agent they offered it for free but unfortunately no bed-linens were provided for the cot. We asked to check out a little later because of a late flight but even though Lucio told us that he himself would be moving in, this was not possible. Last but not least, Lucio threatened that we had to pay 200 euros per trash bag if we didn’t sort it correctly. Shame, a little hospitality would make up for a lot.

Everything about the villa was amazing! The view was beautiful, the space was great and the pool was fantastic. We really enjoyed barbecuing one night as well. The location was great - only a 5 min walk to the shop or restaurants.

The only thing was the journey to Sorrento (a 50 euro taxi ride at midnight which we felt was quite extreme - but the bus was easy if you didn’t miss it like we did.)
