Descrevendo nosso emblema americano, a águia americana, autora Maude M. Grant escreveu "Viver como ele faz nos topos das altas montanhas, em meio à grandiosidade solitário da Natureza, ele tem liberdade ilimitada ..." Certamente a criatura majestosa Ms. Grant descreve estava circulando esta bela casa na montanha. Eagles Landing fica no alto de cabana na montanha cercado por 15 acres de esplendor arborizada. Não importa a estação, os visitantes poderão aproveitar a "grandeza solitária da Natureza". O piso plano aberto é realçado com uma parede real de janelas permitindo oportunidades ilimitadas para a observação da vida selvagem. Ficar um pouco mais perto da natureza do ofurô privativo fora, onde as estrelas é praticamente uma exigência. Dentro os confortos são infinitas. Desfrute de Wi-Fi, TV de tela plana de 42 "HDTV com serviço de satélite, lareira a lenha e cozinha bem equipada. O loft acolhedor serve como espaço kid extra e oferece um retiro de leitura para os dias chuvosos. Então, muita privacidade e conforto será certamente difícil de sair, mas fácil para voltar ao em qualquer estação. Os visitantes do inverno por favor planejar veículos de 4 rodas motrizes.

WOW. the view is breathtaking!!! It was the perfect weekend getaway for hubbys 50th birthday. We relaxed,enjoyed the hot tub,and mesmerized over the beautiful view on the mountain top.Eagles Landing is the perfect name for this spectacular home.My husband stayed on the porch in the rocking chair from dawn to dusk.Thanks for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise!!

Booked this property for a weekend getaway with my three gal pals from college. We checked in Sat and did not leave this beautiful home until checkout on Tues. Great spot to disconnect from everything else and reconnect with friends. Hot tub was clutch on the sunny but chilly days of our trip. Recommend packing starter logs for the fireplace, however house has firewood split and stacked to keep the place cozy. The open common space with the wall of windows melds the indoor comforts with the outdoor beauty. Will rent again.

We were all very comfortable staying in the cabin. We loved the privacy, the hot tub, and loved having a kitchen to prepare meals. So much better than staying in a hotel

Beautiful house with everything you'll need. Clean and well laid out. Only item we found lacking was the outside fire pit. It's off to the side in the woods and poorly situated. There is not a second firepit as the add states. This was a minor thing though given the proximity to all the great things to go see and do in the area!

Area and property location were nice but house had mice in living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. It made for a less than relaxing vacation experience . Also not a major concern but the internet was very poor

We love this part of Cabin Mountain!I wish the house had a few more kitchen gadgets since I forgot to bring our garlic press. But we had wonderful hikes even in the pouring rain and picked bounteous blueberries. Who could ask for more??

Great family trip. The house was wonderful, had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the week. The deck and Great room with windows overlooking the forest was amazing.
The house is in a perfect location. Just minutes from Windy View and access to the Dolly Sods and a short drive to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley. For a less strenuous hike the lake off Timberline Rd. offers a great view if the valley.
Can't say enough good things about the Eagles Landing. We would definitely recommend for families looking to get away.

Quiet private house in the woods
House was great if you are looking for a quiet home nestled in the mountains. Picture is misleading as it looks like there is a meadow but it is surrounded by trees. House well stocked with kitchen items and other necessities. We did see a doe and fawn one morning at breakfast outside the dining room window and many deer and wild turkeys on the trek up and down the mountain. Be prepared for steep gravel drive.

Not for the Faint of Heart
LOVE the house, property and location. There is a lot of great hiking and good food in the area. The driveway is steep and gravel. We were there a week, saw 5 mice, and were able to catch 2 of them. We believe the property owners and management company are actively working with an exterminator, but if you're squeamish, you'll want to confirm the mice are under control before you book.

Easy Mountain Experience
The property was as described. It had all the basics for living. The hot tub was nice and ready, they had cable and internet that all worked really well. The Best of Cannan agency we worked with to check in and out was exceptional. They were really easy to work with and very responsive to inquiries before the trip. We had zero issues during our stay, which I think is because they are such a well organized team. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future.

We had a great time, the staff at Nest of Canaan is very courteous and helpful. The first evening our hot tub was not working and they were there first thing the next morning to fix it. The cabin had some mouse droppings in the lower cabinets,but that can happen to anyone. And you could see they have been working on the problem as there were a few traps left. Other than those minor issues, which were addressed in a timely manner, it was great.

Amazing
My stay was perfect from start to finish. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, spacious and clean. Bedrooms are well equipped as the kitchen. The views are beautiful. The jacuzzi and fireplace work to perfection. The entrance of the cabin was high and the street has rocks no pavement, a 4x4 is required due to all the mountains specially with snow. Other than that The Eagles Landing is perfect.

Beautiful Cabin and Location
The cabin was great, exactly as advertised. Check-in and check-out were simple and the property and location were absolutely beautiful. Just FYI, the cabin and road leading up to it is a dirt road, windy, and a little steep. Without snow, we had no problem. However, with snow it probably would have been different. The cabin was remote, spacious and clean. It had all the utensils and appliances as advertised and everything worked well. My whole family absolutely loved this place and we will definitely go back next year.

Mountain Get Away
My husband and I enjoyed our time in this cozy mountain chalet. Despite a long string of rainy days and even a snow day, it was delightful to be able to stay inside and read by the fire, work puzzles and watch movies together. We ventured out to shop a few times and take in the scenic countryside.

Eagles Landing
Property is located in a wildlife preserve and very quiet and private which was perfect for us. It's close to an unending number of hiking trails. The property is older but very well kept and clean. The outdoor hot tub is great and clean. The property has a charcoal grill. We had to make a special trip into town for charcoal, lighter fluid and matches. A gas grill would be a nice upgrade for the house. Loved our stay here.

Exceeded my expectations!
This place has all you need for a rejuvenating vacation - beautiful and quiet natural surroundings, plenty of space, all your essential home amenities, a smart TV, a fireplace, fun interior decor, a hot tub, and even a little fire pit and some trails leading up to the edge of the Dolly Sods Wilderness. Just spent last week there, and couldn't get enough of it! Make sure you bring your own charcoal if you want to use the grill. The pull-out bed in the sofa was a bit dirty, and the hot tub controls were a bit wonky, but these hardly detracted from all the positive aspects. Thank you Best of Canaan for what was truly the best vacation rental I've experienced!
