I am writing to submit a strong complaint about the cashier of your Chalet Hotel Kaya! When I checked out my accommodation on 15 Feb 2023, I stated very clearly to the cashier that the room bill was to be settled in EUR, not in HKD. As Chalet Hotel Kaya is a deluxe four-star hotel, I trusted your services so I didn’t check the credit card receipt before rushing for the car pick up. However, I now just found that the cashier has made the credit card payment in HKD, which is absolutely against my instruction in EUR on site! Being a deluxe four-star hotel, your staff should not have committed such a wrong doing, which has caused the loss of unnecessary currency exchange amount to customers. Here, I strongly request your Hotel to investigate my case and refund to me the loss of difference in the wrong HKD settlement! LO Tak Shing

Excellent hotel with authentic, cozy, natural wood design and stylish details. The atmosphere is very friendly, like being home. Kids friendly with play room. Delicious food in the restaurant, wonderful and very rich breakfast. Very comfortable beds, all new. Nice spa and warm swimming pool, excellent spa treatments. There is free ski shuttle bus service, the stop is just in front of the hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! The staff was very helpful in arranging transportation, storing our luggage, etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a short or long-term stay for either couples or familes.

Staff were amazingly friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet selection was extensive & excellent quality. Room was warm & comfortable with great features including direct casting from your device to the TV and in wall USB sockets

To shower in the bathroom you had to hold the shower head in your hand which was our only dislike about the property.

Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help us with some lost luggage, booking restaurants etc. We had a few dinners at the restaurant and the meals were fantastic, staff were also incredibly lovely. The hotel is ski in ski out which is very convenient, and there is a ski shop on site which makes renting equipment quite easy. There is a regular shuttle bus which stops right outside that takes you straight to Les Menuires in about 15-20 minutes if you wanted to browse local delis or shops.

Shower needed an additional bracket at standing height, otherwise you could only take baths or would have to hold the shower head whilst having a shower. Otherwise facilities and room were great!

super nice staff ready to help you in everything! perfect room and restaurant. Perfect location you simply go out and you are in the slopes! They have a shop next to them where you can buy or rent the ski material

Nothing, is the second time i go there and i will sure come back again. its a pity that they are closed in the summer season.

Restaurant was excellent. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location superb. Room spacious, clean, well appointed. Separate bath and shower a definite plus.

More snow, but it was mid-April so cannot complain.

It has been an excellent ski holiday for all 4 of us: from the location concept and design, facilities including swimming pool, sauna and spa, restaurant with great food, bar with very creative drinks to the very professional and effective staff.

From the moment we arrived with the friendly and informative welcome from Victor we knew we were on for a memorable stay. The refurbishment is very cool and having booked a suite we certainly weren’t disappointed with a lovely large, well appointed room. We had two evening meals in the Kairn restaurant which was very good. A special mention for Salome who was a great waitress and lots of fun. Looking forward to our next stay already.

Couple of minor issues with a kettle that didn’t switch off and wasn’t repaired and then a shower door which didn’t shut properly but fairly minor. If I was being really fussy the mattress was too soft for me and didn’t sleep that well but that’s quite subjective.

Room: spacious and comfortable.

Room was cold when we arrived. No instructions for adjusting the heaters. When thermostat set at higher temperature it would immediately decrease.

Breakfast incredible, rooms clean and modern. Pool nice not crowded.

The lift is crazy and located right outside our door.

The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The rooms were great and had a chrome cast to connect to our iPad to watch series on the TV which was amazing!
