We enjoyed the property and the host, who was wonderfully communicative and helpful with advice on places to eat, shop, visit, park, and play. Great location for anyone visiting with a rental car, and some bonus items: 2 bedrooms for visitors is great Laundry to clean wet or dirty clothing is very helpful Off-street parking was nice Really wonderful, tasty food and an incredibly clean country compared to many places in America. Shockingly beautiful geography, and I can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing trip to Iceland only made better by a clean and comfortable place to stay. Helga was so responsive and kind. Her place is spacious, clean, and very well equipped and just a few minute drive to downtown. We would stay here again if we came back.

We had a wonderful time staying in Reykjavik 108. The apartment was more like a house, very spacious for us (3 adults) and had everything you would want for an extended stay, even private parking! The only slight bothersome was the shower door, it leaked water on the floor, but there were plenty of towels to use each day to act as sponges. The neighborhood was perfect, only 3 minutes away to a park, groceries, restaurants, and a first-class Crossfit box. The less than10 minute drive into town was perfect. Our host Helga responded to every question we had prior to the trip, and was very friendly and conversational when we met her at her downtown shop, a perfect host with a great property in all aspects. Thank you for giving us a stress-free experience to see your beautiful country.

This lovely apartment work really well as a home base for exploring Iceland.

My husband and I brought our children (14 and 11) to explore the southwest of Iceland for a week. The check-in process was straight forward. We all loved the apartment and felt very much at home. After exploring during the day we were always so grateful to return to "our place" for a good night's sleep. The beds and linens were very comfortable and my 11 year old (who is immensely picky about her sleeping situation) enjoyed sleeping on the couch. It was great to have a kitchen full of utensils to make the occasional meal at the apartment a breeze. We all liked the shower but make sure to have a towel ready to wipe up the water that gets on the floor...the way the shower doors are there really is no getting around it (very minor complaint). All in all - I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, safe, and comfortable stay. Thank you so much, Helga. We will definitely return!

Helga was accommodating with our request for a rollaway bed for the living room so our twins had separate spaces. The location is excellent… it really is only 10 minutes to town & near the Perlan museum plus shopping needs. There were plenty of linens, towels, and space for four. I’d recommend blackouts for the living room in case it’s used as a bedroom rollaway place again. Thank you!

Helga’s apartment is beautifully appointed with her art work (paintings). Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, it is about a three mile walk into the heart of downtown. The apartment had everything we needed for a memorable family vacation.

The location was great, close to the beach, not far from the mall. The host was very pleasant, helpful, and easy to communicate. The place was clean and spacious. The beds and sofa were comfortable. The kitchen had every piece of equipment needed for cooking, and baking. We truly enjoyed our stay, we will be back there.

Helga has a wonderful unit, perfect for two couples or a small family. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We rented a car and found it very easy to do day trips as well as go into the the city center. Also close to bus stop.

Great little apartment with its own parking space that was close to a grocery store, downtown Reykavik and just about anywhere we wanted to go. Had a nice kitchen and even a laundry room. Perfect for our four-day stay.

We had such a comfortable stay and loved the proximity of this home to both Reykjavik and the Golden Triangle where we focused our sight-seeing. The home was a perfect temperature, the kitchen was easy to use and the beds were very comfortable. Even our 12-year old who has trouble sleeping slept soundly all night! Check in/out were smooth and easy. We felt very lucky to find this home and stay here for our trip. Thank you Helga!

Our stay for a week at this property was awesome! It's located in a quiet part of town that is conveniently located to all kinds of things in Reykjavik, 9 minutes to downtown, 40 minutes to the airport. Helga was welcoming and quick to communicate with us. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to make her apartment our home for the week. HIGHLY recommend staying with her!

The apartment itself is perfect. It is spacious, spotless, well equipped and furnished and looks just like the photos. Helga is a great host. She met us, showed us around and even drove us into town the first day. She is an artist who, along with thirteen other women artists, runs a gallery in Reykjavik, so an added bonus is the original art throughout the apartment., The only reason I don’t give it five stars across the board is the location. The description says ten minutes to downtown, but upon closer reading, the ten minutes is by car. However, there are bus stops close by, so that was not an insurmountable drawback. Other than that, five stars all the way.,

Helga's stylish apartment provided the perfect stay for our 5 day vacation in Iceland. Being only an 8 minute drive into the centre of Reykjavik and not far from Route 1 it was a perfect location. The apartment had everything we needed including a very convenient parking space right outside. It provided a great relaxing space after a day out busy sightseeing. If we do come back to Reykjavik again we would hope to stay here again. Helga was very was prompt with her communication which was always very clear and detailed . She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Very comfortable, bright, spacious, well equipped property in a nice residential neighbourhood. It is very close to a bakery and a small grocery store. Roughly a 50 minute walk to downtown Reykjavik. Helga was friendly and was willing to be flexible with our scheduling. She was prompt in her communications with us. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

My stay at Helga's cosy apartment was comfortable and relaxed. I had all the comforts of home. Helga checked in and I had a wonderful interaction two neighbors; one took his time to provide me with extensive directions to visit several sites off the beaten path after I asked if there was one thing I should do while I was in Iceland. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Iceland.

What a great place! Nicely furnished, very clean, and plenty of unique Icelandic picture books and decor to really immerse yourself in the country. Host also provided us with some great local recommendations. Helga was very responsive to all inquiries and was a great host. If we ever find ourselves back in Iceland (which hopefully we do) we will definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I spent a lovely 6 days in Reykjavik in May, 2022. Helga was a perfect host, so personable and friendly and willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay a delight. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and the beds were so comfortable, which we liked after 8 long days on the Ring Road. The location was perfect, a quiet neighborhood, but close to main roads and only 10 minutes from downtown. and less than that to a local grocery. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We loved staying at this cozy apartment. The neighborhood is quiet enough but within easy reach of supermarkets, many bus lines, and a few cute restaurants. It was the perfect place from which to explore Reykjavik and Iceland. Everything was spic and span, kitchen was fully stocked with pots & pans for cooking. The washer is easy to operate and there is a nice indoor balcony / sun room. Would absolutely stay here again.

It is a beautiful apartment! We loved staying in Reykjavík. I wish we could have stayed longer. The host was very helpful and very easy to contact if we ever had any questions.

The place is very spacious for a family of 4. Great kitchen. Helga always answered messages and phone. Location is very accessible. 10 mins or less from downtown. And easy access to main roads to the attractions. Would stay again.

Helga is really helpful and nice..everything worked great but there is no dryer, so we couldn't do laundry. Shower is really busted...leaks copious water all over bathroom, but Helga said she is fixing that. We enjoyed staying there and the unit is very comfortable and homey

This was the perfect home base for our week-long family adventure in Iceland with our two boys (ages 4 and 6). The set-up was perfect for a family, with plenty of room and a great kitchen for family meals. It was only a short drive to downtown and we appreciated the extra space, convenient grocery store and guaranteed parking right in front. Highly recommended!
