It was a last minute trip for us and our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect for us. The neighborhood was great to walk around and we used the fire pit every day. The property manager made sure we were set for our stay. If I had more time to plan what we needed I would have brought trash bags, dishwasher detergent and possibly egg crates for the beds.

We had plenty of room for everyone and also had plenty of room for a big group to hang out all together. It was clean and well kept. We had a few things we wanted to get checked out on the first night and a maintenance man was there to check on it with in a half hour. I would absolutely recommend this property to people. The only thing that bothered us a little was the neighbor who came over on the first night at about 7 o'clock and told us to make sure we were quite or we would be kicked out of the house. We understood that he lived there all year around, but we were just sitting on the deck enjoying the weather and cooking on the grill. We were concerned we would be too loud all weekend. Besides that it was perfect.

We had an amazing time at this property over the span of 4 days / 3 nights. We were a large group but never felt like we were walking over each other. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils. We brought a lot of our own things because we weren't sure what was in the house. The location is beautiful and we liked that the other homes in the area weren't right next door. The bedrooms are pretty spacious, however the beds are extremely squeaky. Every single move would be followed with loud noises. Not easy to sleep with if you are sharing the room/bed with others. Also, it would have been nice if the bathrooms came with a hand towel and hand soap. The house was overall clean however it desperately needs a new broom and mop! Both were filthy when we used them everyday to clean up. It wouldn't hurt to keep a few cleaning supplies also, a lot of people are coming in and out of the house so germs can easily be passed along to others. All in all, we can't wait to stay at the Acorn again for our next ski trip.

The entire team individually mentioned how nice the Acorn house was. It had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of space and very clean. Thanks for the memories.

For the most part, everything was awesome! The place was very clean and everything worked. I have seen some complaints about this property that the cooking pans and stuff were not good and took forever to cook, but I did not have this problem( May be that some people are not use to cooking with electric stoves). The only "issues" i would say that we had was that the Hot Tub was turned down to 58 degrees when we arrived, so we could not use it right away. The only other thing was that the beds were not very comfortable at all. They are very springy and noisy, reminded me of a college dorm mattress. If you rent this house, bring one of those foam egg crate mattress toppers.

The bedrooms are roomy and the downstairs rec room was a big hit with the boys and adults alike: hot tub, pac man, pool! Property manager was great. A broken coffee pot on the first morning was fixed right away. Mattresses were new but lower end. Location was perfect for the 2 days of skiing we did and was 5 minutes from the indoor water park.

The house is even bigger than it appears and was perfect to put the kids down to sleep and the adults could still hang out comfortably in the living room or on the large deck. Carmen was an excellent property manager and was helpful and super responsive (under 5 minute response time for emails) every step of the way. The optional linen service supplied all the bedsheets, bath towels and kitchen towels that my group needed - highly recommend! The house was very clean when we arrived and the deck looked like it had been recently powerwashed. There was some trash on the grounds outside but nothing horrible. A few things to note if you're traveling to this house: 1) Don't worry about bringing your ammonia to cover the trash. There were several bottles of it in the house. There was also handsoap in the bathrooms and there were some dishwasher soap pods in the kitchen. 2) Bring your own pans if you plan on cooking inside. I read an earlier review that said the pans were bad but I didn't listen lol, and it took a longggg time to cook with the pans they had at the house. 3) Appliances: The grill had propane and worked well. The fridge was cold and ready to use when we arrived. We never got to use the hot tub so I'm not sure how well that worked. Overall my group loved the house and we had a great time in Lake Harmony. We had 12 people and it felt just about right for the size of the house. Carmen and Acorn Lodge were fantastic!!

The home was clean when we arrived, and the property management was helpful in accommodating an early check in for us. We reported minor issues after arrival, including a loose handrail at the bottom of the outdoor steps, a screen that was off of a window, and a sliding door that was off track. Otherwise, all was in good working order. I would recommend bringing kitchen knives, food storage containers, and any special cooking supplies that you are accustomed to using. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, mugs, bowls, and silverware. The grill outside worked well. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would rent again.

Reviewer Comments: The stay was beautiful. everyone had a good time. easy to access, quite location. lot of activities to do in the area.. boating, hiking etc all near by. only thing that irritated us was the fact that police were send out to our rental place twice based on some call they received apparently. both the time, cops came and said they do not see anything wrong and they left. our kids were scared by it and we are no happy about it. do not appreciate it one bit. we do not know if our race had to do with anything and the neighbors did not like us or something. we do not know why it happen. That would be only thing that would keep us from recommending the place to others.
