Older style house but renovated very well. Spotlessly clean, neat and tidy. Our dog loved the large fully enclosed back yard.

The property is walking distance to town and all amenities. Extremely clean and well presented!

Very old style house with old furniture. The kitchen , bathroom and garden were lovely but the living room and bedrooms were dreary.

Alison’s house was a perfect stay for us and our dogs. We live in Sydney and come down to visit family so it’s nice to have somewhere we can take our fur babies.

House was clean and spacious with easy access into the property and very close to town. Big back yard which was well maintained. Very quiet neighbourhood. Over great experience.

Kaylee cottage was great. The location was perfect - an easy walk to the main centre. The beds were extremely comfortable and the large enclosed backyard was lovely. Everything we needed was there, as well as other thoughtful touches. We loved the retro decor. In fact, we liked it so much we stayed an extra day.

I recently stayed with two friends. One of my friends brought her small dog as well. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The back garden was secure which was perfect for my friend's dog. There were many nice touches - milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, a packet of biscuits, some nice extras in the bathroom etc. The heater was on when we arrived which made for a very pleasant and warm welcome. We were in Mudgee for a golf and wine weekend. The accommodation is exactly what you see in the pictures. The property was spotless, a close walk into town, and a comfortable stay for the weekend. The checkin process was easy, communication was excellent and nice touches like milk and the heater being on when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the cottage was ideal. Extra bedside reading light in each bedroom would be the only suggestion to improve the stay.

Kaylee Cottage has all you need for a comfortable stay. Just a couple of blocks from the town centre of Mudgee. Close to Club Mudgee for their cafe and bistro. Whilst it is an older home it has a bygone era charm and is well suited to a couple of family. Alison provides provisions you can use including coffee, teabags, carton of milk and biscuits for a gold coin donation. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. Good wifi. Can recommend this old worldly charm home stay.

We were passing through and just stopped for one night and this house was great for our needs. Central location, quiet street, and spacious back garden. Very clean and well accessorised with nice touches.

What a pleasant memory jerker - it was as if I stepped back into the 1960’s and absolutely loved it. We are Mountain bikers, and this cottage suited our needs perfectly. We always have a lot of cycling gear and need space to organise our stuff as well as ride food. This cottage met all our needs. I loved the bench in the bathroom - so practical! The temperature in Mudgee was two degrees yet the airconditioners kept the house warm and the electric blankets made the beds snug.

My husband, three children (5,4,1) and I had a short one night stay at this gorgeous cottage. It brought back memories of staying at our grandmothers house, with a few modern touches. It had absolutely everything you would need for a short or long term stay (full kitchen, dishwashing liquid, cloths, cling wrap, shampoo, conditioner, soap, air con, towels, sheets etc). The thing that impressed me the most was how immaculate this cottage was. It was impeccably clean. There wasn’t a speck of dust to be found (and I’m a clean freak!) We would definitely stay here again although we acknowledge it may not be everyone’s taste. Given the age of the kitchen, bathroom, carpet etc I’m amazed at the condition of the furnishings. If only these walls could talk! I hope the owners keep this cottage in its original condition for as long as possible as it provides a snapshot from our past.
