Amazing family holiday with our 1 year old daughter in a self catering cottage. The beauty of it was we could get breakfast in the main house or even order dinner to have in our cottage. Couldn't have asked for more. Love it so much.
A little welcome pack with tea/coffee/milk/sugar in the self catering accommodation would be lovely after the long drive.
Anything we needed was given when we asked and the staff were so helpful but it would be nice to have those basics in the house upon arrival.

Location was superb and staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent as was lunch.
Coffee/tea in rooms would be good. Gift items were very expensive but excellent quality.

Everything about this place is fantastic. Its history, its staff, its beauty… very restful place. The dinner and the breakfast were simply delicious. Thank you so much !

Everyone was absolutely phenomenal at this property. It was a stunning location that was well-adorned with this lodge and its offerings. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a bit of luxury in the nature of the West of Ireland.
There was nothing that deserves a significant negative impact on the overall rating. It may be possible to hear other guests somewhat if you go to bed early, and the key may be finicky when locking from inside the door.

Breakfast outstanding. My personal preferences were accommodated . Staff all friendly and helpful, high standard of customer service that came naturally to them.
Nothing my only regret was that I could not stay longer. Have recommended to others.

Very nice place and location is accessible from major Connemara attractions.
Room is very convenient. Staff is very friendly specially Anne and Maureen.
Nice forest walk there just like a more than half a kilometre. Nature around the property is really relaxing.
I may go there again.

It was just as beautiful as I remembered it from yrs ago.

The scenery, the accommodation, the place itself, the foods by chef Kevin, Michael the manager so friendly and accommodating, Mary and Bulgarian girl specially Tanya with a lovely smile, wish we could have stayed longer. Defo we will be back.
