excellent restaurant and exceptional friendly staff

Great location with beautify views of two of the three the Castles. The restaurant was fabulous! The staff were extremely helpful.

The hotel is a short walk through a lovely small town. located about two blocks from the main plaza area, it is very quiet and peaceful. The room was a good size with an extremely comfortable mattress and high quality bedding with two good pillows per guest. The shower was excellent and everything was spotlessly clean. Water and coffee are in the room, free of charge. Wi-Fi worked great. The hotel communicated with us professionally at the time of booking and to confirm our arrival time. Our train was late and we arrived at almost 11 pm but it was not a problem. The view from our room on the second floor was grand, even at night. The castle is on a hill just above the hotel, and it’s bathed in a golden light. The morning view was equally impressive. Breakfast was generous and of good quality- meats, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, croissants, and fruit. Coffee, tea, cappuccino made to order. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Locanda Marco Hotel a lot. The room was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a nice bathroom. Very lovely and helpful staff.

everything. the room is very well designed and a very nice walk-in shower. Both the breakfast and dinner options are superb. it has been one of the best dinners we have had. excellent. the staff are very friendly and do what ever to make your stay fantastic.

Recently renovated, fantastic location. view from our room named ("Castelgrande") was unbelievably amazing with unobstructed view of the castle (photo below). Location great - short 12-14 minutes walk to main train station.

The only reason I don't rank the property a 10/10 was because of 1 small mis-understanding. When checking in, we were asked what time we would eat breakfast. I answered "between 8am and 9am" which was fine the first morning of our visit because we ate around 9am. Unfortunately on our second (and last) morning, we went to the breakfast room at 8:10am and it was dark and locked so we had to leave the hotel without breakfast. I kind of blame myself in this situation, because I could have been more specific about when we wanted breakfast. Of course they ask because there are only 4 rooms in this "hotel".

Very nice, new rooms with great views of the castles and mountains. Breakfast was good and dinner was really good. The 7-course meal was a great experience. Staff was very friendly and professional. We were very happy with our stay.

This is a wonderful hotel. The views of the castle were fantastic and it's a short walk into town or up to any of the castles. The room was very comfortable, clean, and updated to perfection. Our dinner was also superb!

The location is great, the rooms are very nice and large and modern, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet.

The breakfast is too frugal, there is only a bit of meat, 1 stove of cheese pet person and no vegetable e.g. tomatoes.

Great place with wonderful views and a good location. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was well organized for the pandemic and was satisfying. We had the tasting menu for dinner and it was very tasty, portions were a bit large for tasting menu but cannot fault them for that.

Nothing really. If I had to be picky, the rooms were on the small side but we didn’t spend much time there during the day so not an issue for us.

Helpful staff. Super quiet location. A/C worked well. Very comfortable bed. Room was spotless. The room was a bit smallish, as a lot of space was allocated to the bathroom. All in all, recommended.

Overall: great experience, worth recommending! Rooms are recently renovated, spacious, luminous (2 windows in the room with a view on 2 castles), super comfortable beds, coffee machine, amazing bathroom (with a window!). Staff and service is great as well (we left the luggage in the morning before check-in time, and in the afternoon when we came back, they brought our bags in the room): staff very helpful and welcoming. Restaurant experience wonderful as well. Location in a calm area, up to 10 mins by walk to the station.

Modern, newly renovated room. Staff were very kind and friendly. Quiet, convenient location, close to the center and major sight-seeing spots. Breakfast was limited but good enough.

The reception and restaurant were closed on Sunday. A bit far from the station. We were fine to walk to/from the hotel with our luggage, but could be difficult for seniors or families with small kids.
