You are right on the beach, have your own private pool, steps away from.Wanna Wanna, and close to many restaurants and shops. The cost is worth the experience! Great location directly on the beach and an easy walk to Wanna Wanna Bar and Grill! Beautiful views of beach and ocean from comfortable chaise lounges on 2nd floor balcony. Well cared for home with everything you need plus more...only needed to buy groceries for the week...everything was already at the house. Entire house was comfortable and there is so much room! Loved the aluminum exterior roller shades on the beach side of the house...provided complete privacy. Already planning our next trip for the Fall. Spacious home with just about everything you need for a relaxing beach stay. My 5 year old grandson loved the bunk bed, his 20 month old sister loved the stairs, their parents loved the amazing view from the master and grandmother loved the second master. Beds are very comfortable, house is very clean, the treasure chest is a warm welcoming. We all enjoyed the pool, hot tub, so very many beach toys, the easy walk to the beach and next door to Wanna Wanna. Communication was outstanding. Terrific location! We would love to come back.

From the time we walked through the front door until we reluctantly left, we felt at home. The house was beautiful and laid out perfectly for a multi-generational family. The kids loved the bunkbed room & their parents had great access through the jack & jill bathroom. The master bedroom w/balcony was a perfect get away for us grandparents to have some quiet time while enjoying the ocean. And the bathrooms? Beautiful! The kitchen had everything we could have possibly wanted/needed. With small children having a private pool and hot tub was amazing and they loved playing with the toys included in the vast storage bin (beach toys as well). Sunrise walks on the beach were breathtaking & being so close meant we never missed a morning. And we can't say enough about our host. Issue with the coffee pot? A new one showed up the next day. Communication was fabulous and they were so kind. We will definitely be booking this house again.

Our second stay at the Sandpiper did not disappoint. The house is great with lots of space for our group of eight to spread out. The proximity to the beach (out the door, past the pool and you are there) is what first drew us to this property and while that is one of the reasons we come back the other has become working with Billy the property owner. He is easy to work with and seems to really care that y ok have a great restful time at his property.

This was an amazing place to stay. I loved that they had everything we needed there and I didn’t have to pack so much. Beautiful house and very comfortable and clean. Thank you for an amazing spring break trip for our family.

Sandpiper House was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a memorable vacation. Fully stocked kitchen, towels, paper products, laundry, private pool and hot tub, and best of all, right on the beach! The home is well sound proofed, both for interior and exterior noise. The bunk bed room was perfect for our 3 kids and the grandparents enjoyed the large master and private balcony with an unobstructed view of the sunrise! Lots of family-friendly activities close by, including the sea turtle rescue, SPI Birding and Nature Center, and lovely boardwalks for nature strolls. Our 8-year-old was able to hold an alligator and be hugged by a ball python. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this perfect spot!

Should of taken 2weeks instead of 1

Everything about the place was just as it was advertised. We had an issue with the hot tub and the host was very responsive and had someone out the next day to take care of it. They even apologized for not being able to get someone out on a Sunday. There are a few nitpicky things that I always look for and they had most of them: ✅Hooks in bathroom ✅dresser space ❌full length mirror ✅scissors ✅cooler ✅small/plastic cups for kids

The description of this property, along with the reviews say it all. For three of the days of our stay, we did not leave the house at all, because we just wanted to stay "home" and enjoy the ocean and the pool.

If I could give this stay 10 stars I would! The host is amazing and had the best recommendations for dining, family fun, etc. The house was just as pictured if not better! You can walk to so many shops, restaurants/bars and markets! Can’t wait to book our next stay here!

We had the best time staying in this beautiful, clean beach house. We had plenty of space for our group of Seven. The views are incredible and the sand is sugar soft. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and cooked some great meals in the spacious, well stocked kitchen. Definitely recommend renting big tire bikes and taking in the beachfront. This property was fantastic and the owner was extremely helpful. We had family ranging in age from 10-84 and the location of this house gave everyone the freedom to come and go from the beach as they pleased. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, right on the beach. The house is nice has everything you need. The welcome gift was great. The beach bar has excellent food and drinks. House was perfect for our vacation.

Everything about this property was as promised, the process went smoothly, and we had a fantastic stay. I especially appreciated that the host did not have a myriad of rules and our departure instructions were to run the dishwasher and leave the house like we would want our house left. The host was so gracious that it felt like we were staying in a friend's house instead of a rental.

This is our second time of staying at the Sandpiper. We love the peace and quietness this place allows for. If you want to be around more people and find different things to do-you have all that on the island. It’s not very often that someone owns such an amazingly clean, filled with endless amenities and views beyond imagination. That end up sharing it with others! You won’t be disappointed and will carry this place in memories for years after!

This house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed to make our week comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and beach and all the water and sand toys that were available. The location was perfect and the beach access was amazing! Check in and check out were very easy. We definitely recommend this house and would stay here again!

This home on the beach is so amazing. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy a week on the island. The host Billy is gracious and very communicative. The location is perfect. The pool overlooks the beach and is the perfect size to chill and relax. The house was very clean and the bedrooms are spacious. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and the treasure chest of goodies is a nice touch. We have stayed at several different places on the island and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed at. We hope to stay here again next year. Thank you Billy for sharing this amazing home with my family. We haven’t stopped talking about it since we left. 5 stars all the way!

This place is perfect! I have been renting beach houses on VRBO for nearly twenty years and there is always something about the experience that is lacking- not with this rental! The location is superb- right on the beach with a private boardwalk and 75 yds from the best beach bar on the island. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and the AC units were able to keep us cool even during this Texas heatwave. When the owner (Billy) tells you the rental is completely stocked, he wasn’t joking. You could fly to SPI with only your bathing suit and pajamas and have everything you need for a weeks stay. Juan and his crew had the house spotless and they helped us out with a lost item without any charge. You can’t beat the professional service of the the owner and his crew. Thank you Billy for a great stay. We will be back!

The perfect beach house that’s literally right on the beach. The location made it so easy with kids to go back and forth from the the beach. The living room had plenty of space for everyone and the bedrooms were plenty big! The pool was just the cherry on top! We’re already trying to plan our next family vacation using this rental! Billy was so easy to get ahold of and very responsive with any questions/requests.

We had a fantastic stay at The Sandpiper House. The beachfront view was absolutely stunning and it added a magical touch to the entire experience. The property was clean, had all the amenities you might have forgotten or did not think of packing which allowed us to focus on enjoying our family time together. The house and the view were perfect! You are definitely right on the beach. My family had a wonderful time!

We love staying at beach houses in South Padre Island but this was one of the best by far. Liberally 50 yards from the beach. We were able to set up our tent and chairs and just walk back to the house for a bite instead of having to take food to the beach. Wanna Wanna was like 2 minutes down the street and we could enjoy the live music from the comfort of the pool and patio. House had everything we needed and communication with the owner was always quick. Will definitely be staying here again.
