Location to lake and town

EVERYTHING ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT… IT WAS THE PERFECT GET AWAY THAT FELT LIKE HOME… THE HOUSE WAS FULLY EQUIPPED W EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED… THE GAME ROOM NOT TO MENTION FULLY EQUIPPED FOR A LAKE DAY AND FUN GAME NIGHT 🙏🏼… BEING THERE FELT LIKE A TRUE BLESSING ❤️‍🔥

It had everything we needed and even had a fire pit! We really enjoyed our stay! Plan on staying again!

The property met our needs. There were 5 in the group and overall we enjoyed our stay. The gas grill had been damaged due to all the snow, fortunately we had brought our own charcoal grill.

My overall experience was okay. The place is a little outdated. It has very old furniture. My main complaints will be regarding the dirty living room carpet and the stove. The living room carpet is disgusting dirty. It needs to be either shampooed or thrown out. The stove is super slow. It took over 3hrs to cook breakfast. The burners are really slow to cook. Otherwise, everything else was decent. It’s close to shopping center which was nice!

The cabin was clean and it had all the supplies we needed. Blankets and pillow were so comfy and warm. It was the best stay ever. Tha game room was awesome.

The only reason I am giving it 1 star is because of location. I have rented multiple times from Vacasa and never have I experienced such a mess. We rented this cabin specifically for the game room (more on that in a moment). When we arrived the path to the house was covered in burnt sticks, sap, leaves, sap, dirt, and sap. We spent 45 minutes clearing the walk but the damage was done. All of our shoes are destroyed and even though we were asked to removed our shoes upon entering the house, we literally had sticky sap EVERYWHERE. There was no welcome book that explained anything. There was no key to the gameroom and no code to the lockbox that held the backup key. There was no remote to the roku TV so we were only able to watch the home screen, so nothing. The fan in one of the bedrooms didn't work so the kids slept in the living room since it was 100 degrees upstairs with no fan. There was a leak under the kitchen sink so when we drained the water the bowl under the sink would overflow and run all over the floor. The freezer has one shelf so everything had to be stacked in the bottom basket. The water and icemaker do not work. I spent much of day 1 on the phone with customer service (4 calls and many texts). Someone did come out the NEXT afternoon and left the wrong keys, no fans, and a remote that didn't work. Again, we rented this property for the game room and were never provided the keys to access it. The shower drain was broken and I am not certain the sink or bathmats had been washed. The only think clean about the cabin were the towels, thankfully. Our checkout instructions were never given so I called again on the morning we left and they sent me the instructions: pack your things and turn off the lights. That's it! I have now been promised a call back 3 times. I have never heard back. Do NOT rent this cabin if you are expecting a game room or cleanliness. If I could attach the pictures, you would see I am not exaggerating.

This was a cozy cabin with well stocked amenities and easy access to the Shaver Lake and close to town. We enjoyed the large deck, fire pit and game room. Warm and inviting space with plenty of parking too.

This was our 4th time here at this cabin, loved the new couches, floors, lights on patio (we usually have to bring our own)and mattresses updates. In the past we were able to park in front of garage / game room but since our last visit the extra long parking space has been blocked( not sure why, it’s not being used) another thing is we had little rodent droppings every morning in the bathrooms. Other than those 2 issues I would have given this cabin 5 stars.

We had the best stay here. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. We had four adults and six kids and everyone was comfortable in a bed. The kids had the best time playing pool and hiking around the area. The adults enjoyed the large outdoor patio for food and drinks. I loved that the dining room was large enough for our group. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

I tried numerous times to contact me casa regarding some property that I left on the cabin a huge large Teflon pot that I took to make a special dish I am going to have to purchase another one because nobody has answered the phone or returned my call regarding this I do not know how to get a hold of a host that was never information given to me so that they may set aside my pot and I can come up and get it other wise Really enjoyed that our teens had the detached game room and plenty of out door space large patio for family BBQ

If your looking for a simple, rustic cabin feel, this is your place. I've stayed here a few times in 2020 and keep coming back because it's always so relaxing and the perfect place to hang out with family and friends. There's definitely been some upgrades that are not displayed on the images such as new flooring in all four bedrooms, new mattresses, new couches and a new stove. We had a blast hanging out at the lake which is walking distance from the cabin. We also had a great time bbq'n on the back deck and playing in the game room. This is definitely our favorite spot and we can't wait to book our next family weekend getaway!

Very cozy cabin...has everything you need. Lake is close by and you can walk to the village. Perfect for all ages. Loved it!

Photos do make it look a lil bigger than what it is. We loved it, calm, cozy & quiet. No neighbors next door for most of our stay. We took sheets to cover the couches. I really appreciated the Washer & Dryer. I loved the lawn cots/chairs. We over packed but everything you need is there for your use.
I look forward to Booking that Cabin again.

This place has a great location but it really is a step up from camping. Rugs, couches, bedspreads, bath mat, and carpets are stained and dirty and any spaces in between two areas (e.g. bathroom sink and shower) don’t seem to have been cleaned in decades. We brought old sheets from home and put those on couches so kids bodies/faces weren’t touching the couches as is. One dining chair was broken upon arrival, bunks were janky and unsafe, and we killed 4 spiders on night one. Kids found the largest spider we’ve ever seen in the game room and were terrified to re-enter even after I killed it. They said “tarantula” and it was pretty close in size. We also found mouse droppings on the bed we stayed in on our last morning and several droppings in the adjacent room closet. We all walked with shoes on the entire time we were there. We did call Vacasa re the bunks (and heat) and they came out to fix the bunks and give us fans for each room right away. If some time went into updating this place, replacing couches, rugs, furnishings, and carpet, and giving it an extremely deep cleaning, it could be worth the price point based on location. Other reviews mentioned cleanliness and I should have heeded those. Location is a positive for sure but I expected a little more pride in upkeep.

For a large family it has enough beds and is close to town. I wish there was a second shower upstairs.

I Loved the cleanliness inside the cabin, I loved the location, I loved the game room which was a plus, and I loved the hammock and the swing outside. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 was because the kitchen was small, you could hear all the steps from upstairs in the downstairs bedroom, it was kinda hot which could of used some kind of air conditioning instead of just fans and the outside deck could of used some cleaning, it was dusty and full of spider webs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank You!

Had a Great time. Cabin had plenty of space, a lot of beds for a large family. Furniture was a little dated, if you are into more of the modern look. But worked out fine for us, since we were just there for the Great outdoors and the relaxation. We enjoyed Our stay, Cabin has everything you need. We would vacation there again. Thank you, Ron A.

This cabin is in a gorgeous location and very convenient to Shaver lake. The house could be very functional and comfortable but it is in DESPERATE need of a deep cleaning and update. We checked out early (thank you Vacasa for understanding our concerns) and had to find other accommodations, last minute.

Great location lots of parking, you can walk to lake but it is a distance and you will need to be mobile as there is incline. Was disappointed that the house is run down..we found several large trash bags in garage from previous occupants and that the BBQ grill was filthy and no propane which ruined our plans for that evening not to mention the smell. This is where the pool table and foosball games are which the kids did like. There was also multiple light bulbs that did not work in there...their is only one full bathroom with shower and it is very outdated and not very clean as is the rest of the house, kids upstairs complained of rotten egg smell. One set of stairs on the back porch we're broken and was covered with a piece of plywood..very dangerous wobbly and uneven.. expected this to be better for the cost.

Loved the location. Had great amenities: Bbq pit, fire pit, great deck for star gazing, very comfortable hammock, fun swing and the game room was cool.

Loved having my morning coffee on the back deck while catching up on some reading...so relaxing! Also enjoyed the short walk into town and the perfect little hike down to the lake...what a great weekend!

The cabin had plenty of beds and space to spread out. The pellet stove heated the cabin well.

I don’t know where to start.. ‘this property was dirty and I would never recommend anyone to book it. We didn’t even stay the two nights we booked. We found throw up in one of the beds, dog hair on the nasty sofas. The sofas smelled and there was hair and crumbs under the cushions. Under the beds there were trash and the sheets smelled like they had not been washed. We went into the game room and there was open beer cans and dirty wine glass cups with dried wine in it. The bbq grill was nasty and vary dirty. It was like a bomb had exploded in it. There was dried foil with grease all over it. There is just so much more to explain but I am sure you get the point. I left and forward all my pictures to the company and am waiting for a refund or I will take other actions.
