The rooms were spacious, decorated very authentic but stylish and included a mini fridge, a dressing table and a full length mirror which was great. Also really good location to be close enough to the action but not so close it keeps you awake.

An hour after we checked into our room the staff asked us to move rooms to accommodate a guest who did not like their current room, then after moving all our stuff out and wasting a lot of time, we were then moved back into our original room. I think the property should consider guest experience. The breakfast menu looked great but the food was really bad - simplify the menu and focus on the food you can deliver to a high standard.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a great location for exploring the island and seeing the turtles.

There is absolutely nothing I could fault about our stay! All the members of staff we came into contact with - the front-of-house, spa staff, housekeeping - provided exceptional customer service, and a willingness to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was a wide choice, was served quickly, and consistently high quality. We ate it on the beach! The areas of grass and plants around the rooms are maintained everyday, and the cleaning was very good. The room was really comfortable, and the shower pressure was strong. It is a brilliant location - not far (under a ten minute walk) from the harbour, and amongst the local shops/eateries etc, but also on the cusp of it so it is a little less busy/bit quieter. We appreciated having a safe in the room, and the fridge was helpful for cooling water etc. It is situated right next to the beach, where we ate our breakfast everyday on sun loungers/beanbags. The cocktails were fantastic. We extended our stay as we felt so relaxed there. Most of all, the staff were just brilliant - thank you for being such great hosts.

We had such a fantastic time here that we ended up extending our stay. The location is excellent. Very short walk/cycle to the main area for restaurants and bars but far enough away that it's peaceful and not too busy. You can rent a bike through the reception area for a very good price. We also booked an excellent and well priced snorkeling tour through reception. The spa connected to the villas is very well priced. You can rent a snorkel for about €3/day and if you walk a few minutes up the beach, there are a ridiculous amount of turtles. Magical! Samba villas supplies bean bags and loungers on the beach front which we loved. The breakfast was pretty good. Not the best we had while in Indonesia but excellent for the price. We have to give a special shout-out to Roby and all the staff for making our stay so special. Roby always had the biggest smile for us and was more than happy to help me organise a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I had messaged before arriving to ask if they could help me to organise a cake and a balloon and they went absolutely above and beyond. Roby organised 2 massive pieces of cake with a birthday message written on the plate, our room was decorated while we were at breakfast with birthday banners, flowers and balloons, and all the staff came to the room with a guitar to sing happy birthday!! It was so special (and my boyfriend was very surprised!) and so fun so thank you to Roby and the team! They did all of this free of charge. Just amazing. The staff also organised a horse to carry our bags to the dock when we were leaving. The staff made us feel so at home and welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and smiley. Thank you for such a special stay!

The pool was closed for maintenance and this wasn't advertised on booking.com but considering you're a 30 second walk from the beach, this really didn't impact our stay.

Perfect location. kinda out of the party zone, but still very close to everything. You have the beach right outside where you get served your breakfast from 08-11. Go snorkle just 50m to see the turtles. The Spa is the best with the prices and service you could dream of. Always aveliability for a pedicure, manicure or massage until 23:00! This is not a 5 star, but the service is. Recomend at the highest. Remember to smile and you will get the best out of your stay!

We loved everything about this accommodation - The location is perfect, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and never hesitated to help us organize other activities around the island. Roby was especially helpful. There is also a spa to get massages on site which was only AUS$10 for a whole hour massage! Simple layout but amazing massage.

Nice hotel to stay at Gili. Very central, quiet, nice breakfast, very good massages and close to all.

The room was good size. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa with dedicated room available in the hotel and massage is cheap and very good. Very good location.

Roby was amazing he looked after us so well for the whole trip. he organised everything and was so friendly, always greeting us when we came home. he even organised a surprise for my birthday! the location was so convenient and the 2 rooms at the back were very spacious. great water pressure in the showers

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Samba Villas. The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful, the room was georgeous, and the location was spot on. They also have the best massages. Next time we're going to Gili Trawangan, we will definitely stay at Samba Villas!

Best location ever !, literally from my bed to the beach in 3mins !! Breakfast on the beach. Staff are so amazing, so friendly and so attentive, and super flexible. Also a good massage in the front of the hotel.
