Lovely location. Really nice room, hotel and restaurant. All the people were fab.

could have a pool although a bit cold for one in Monteverdes climate. If you want to be able to see the sunset from another hotel maybe choose a different one.

Family of 5 with kids ages 16,14 and 11 stayed in 2 rooms and enjoyed our stay at the Monteverde Country Lodge. The property is off a side road outside the main downtown. There’s restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. The rooms aren’t large but are very comfortable. The grounds are very nice and the breakfast at the restaurant is very good. The staff was wonderful and helped us fix a scheduling error. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Not really the properties fault but the motorcycle and car noise starts early. The road in is rough but no worse than other roads in the area.

Very comfortable place. The cabin was nice and had a little kitchen. The staff helped us with tours and we're very attentive

One of our rooms had a bad smell. The rooms did not look as in the booking.com pictures. Not at all, like a different hotel. The bathrooms had not been renovated for 30 years or even more, not modern as in the pictures. Everything white in the pictures, not as online. the toilet seat was too small for toilet, which is not very hygienic.

This is actually a large hotel, in Santa Elena, with pretty meandering paths and a fountain here and there, and close enough to town to walk to restaurants. The manager, Carlos was very helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.

They need a little sign to tell the maids to clean later.

The staff is really nice and the hotel is really well located. I have a condition and the staff helped a lot with the food. The hotel is really beautiful and it’s really confortable if you go by car.

The shower needs more pressure and they must include gluten and diary free good, but that’s an issue that all the hotels should take care of.

The service level at the Monteverde Country Lodge was above expectations. They were readily available to answer questions and assist with restaurant and activity suggestions. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Their breakfast was good with enough options. The food was amazing! BTW-make sure to book a table for dinner because the restaurant is not that big. You can organize all your tours on arrival. Hats off to Carlos at the front desk; this man was so awesome checking us in and explaining all the details to our group. He answered all the questions, helped us book tours, and so many more things; he was just amazing.

A heated pool would be awesome! Monteverde is all about exploring nature, which could be pretty exhausting. So it would be nice to have a heated pool at the facilities to relax in the afternoon.

the worst experience ,we went to the hotel to tell them about room cancellation and if we are entitled to a refund… he asked us if we were booked somewhere else and we said yes in another area but far away… the manager just tricks people…manager said that the hotel was full of reservations but i checked on the app and the most of the rooms was available… the worse experience ever
