The location, the staff, the size and beauty of the Challet. We had to change our dates due to flight cancelation and got a great response from the management even though the payment was nonrefundable. The Challet is self catering but the hotel provided free fresh bread service each day which was very appreciated. They also helped us with tickets to the castles. The service was very personal and we felt welcomed. The rooms were nice and the bathroom on the first floor was to die for. The kitchen is has all the appliances you can think of and tons of dishes.

Vom Bett aus hatten wir den Blick auf das Schloss, was will man mehr.. Supernettes Personal, sauberes, großes Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück und die Tiefgarage macht es rundum schön.

Tout d abord le cadre est magique juste au pied du chateau de Neuschwanstein , tous le personel nous a extremement bien accueilli spécialement la charmante dame qui nous a reçu (en français en plus) . Le cadre est exceptionel notre sejour restera inoubliable et nous comptons bien y revenir !

De locatie is geweldig, je loopt zo naar slot Neuschwanstein. Luxe comfortabele kamer. Gebruik van de sauna is ook heel fijn na de wandeling omhoog.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sehr sauber, man hat sich richtig Wohlgefühl und konnte sich nach den Ausflügen sehr gut entspannen

Breakfast was excellent! Front desk super friendly and extremely helpful! Romantic setting in room was unexpected and lovely! Very well managed hotel! Once we checked out and went to visit the castles they let us stay in our parking spot. Very accommodating!

Im Sommer kann man schon die Klimaanlage vermissen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für den Besuch der Schlösser Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau. Die Anreise klappte problemlos und wir fanden gleich einen großen guten Parkplatz in der Hoteltiefgarage. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchwegs sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe im Vorhinein zur Ankunft eine Sektflasche auf unser Zimmer bestellt, auch dies klappte reibungslos. Unser Zimmer (Romantiksuite) war sehr groß, sauber und ansprechend. Der Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad und Infrarotkabine ist gut ausgestattet und lädt zum verweilen und entspannen ein. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist vielfältig und von sehr guter Qualität, hier findet sich jeder was! Der Kaffee wird von der sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiterin serviert.

Leider hat bei uns der Sternenhimmel über dem Bett in der Suite nicht funktioniert. Als Kompensation hat man uns den Erlass der Parkgebühren angeboten, vorbildlich! Im hinteren Teil des Frühstücksraumes sind die Tische leider sehr eng gestellt, deshalb haben wir ausschließlich im vorderen Bereich gefrühstückt.

This is a stylish hotel with a beautiful view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The decor is modern but evocative of the nearby castles and Wagner’s operas. The setting is charming and quiet, but still only steps from the attractions which also include the Tegelberg gondola leading to various hiking trails and the Alpsee. The rooms are spacious and most have views. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with many local specialties as well as fresh fruits and baked goods. The best thing was the very friendly and fun staff. There have bicycles which we borrowed to ride into Füssen.

Beautiful Hotel with a gorgeous view of the castle. Incredibly quiet and peaceful location, only noisy neighbors were the random goats that would be active around 4:00pm 😊 Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Very clean rooms. Very impressive breakfast buffet for such a small hotel.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is very nice and clean, close to the restaurants and the castels. We had a room with a view to Neuschwanstein. The rooms are very big, clean, there is tea and coffee. The staff is very friendly and helpful, helped us to get tickets for the castles. Next time, I will definitely book this hotel. Thank you for the comfortable stay.

The room was finished to a very high standard. Gorgeous bathroom. Great having air conditioning. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the mountains and the castle, outstanding. The garage was easily accessible and secure. Staff were welcoming and informative organising trips to the castles for us at a time we requested. The hotel is 100 m away from Hohenschwangau’s centre with restaurants and a few shops.

Limited number of restaurants open in the evenings but enough.

Too many positives to write in this little section, but to sum everything up....Staff (big kudos to Judith - greeted us with smiles, extremely knowledgeable about the area, so very helpful), the room (amazing with a great view of the castle), the location (the best possible), the restaurant (most wonderful breakfasts), the parking (safe, secure and best of all, it's underground), and it goes on from there.

Honestly - there is NOTHING to not like about Villa Ludwig. It was the perfect hotel.

Clean, comfortable, very large rooms. Excellent breakfast. All staff were top notch and very hospitable. So happy to have found this gem! Having a view of Schloss Neuschwanstein from our balcony was EPIC.

It was so clean, the hotel employees were extremely helpful and kind, and the rooms were amazing. We had an early start and they offered to provide us with breakfast to take with us on the go—very kind and thoughtful. Also, absolutely loved the view of Neuschwanstein from our patio.

I'm used to sleep on a hard mattress so not every hotel has this option. The pillows could be better, to soft an to low...

We have got the upgrade and the room has views of both Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. One from the balcony, the other from the window. It was lovely and relax stay. Staff did arrange tickets for us to both castles with great recoommendation. The property is in a short walk to castles, museum and the lake.

The road in to the property is underconstruction, so we have to divert our way to reach the property. However, the divert route is the scenic route, green glass full of yellow flowers with Neuschwanstein at the BG was superb.
