Pur had an intimate setting enough off the beaten path to be very attractive. The staff was wonderful and the food was great and we weren’t that far (via golf cart) from anywhere on the island. This location was very chill and people who weren’t staying there would stop at the bar and swim/eat/drink because it is an awesome place to just hang out. We met many nice wonderful people from all over this way and it added to the charm.

The only negative was the water pressure and quality. This ding probably applies to any hotel this far away from the main drag because it is remote (which is good) and it is on an island with limited resources. We had plenty of drinking water, and the showers weren’t horrible, but the water was really soft and tasted a bit salty. I could argue that it did add to the charm of the place, but I’m trying to be objective.

Bathroom faucets were the misting kind that sprayed everywhere. Beds were too big for the tiny room. While at the bar, you constantly smelled the exhaust from all the vehicles passing by.

The staff was amazing! the location was quieter than in town and we loved that. easy walk to restaurants & coffee. great little pool. meals at the hotel if you want them. and the food was really good! comfortable room. and access to their beachfront sister property. dive shops picked us up at a dock that is a five minute walk away. we used the bikes to explore.

the only downside is that it’s loud because all of the rooms surround the pool/bar/restaurant and the property is very close to the main road.

The hotel was in a great location, rooms were very clean. Best part was the staff though. They are amazing and treat you like family. Nelson is the best bartender and was so welcoming. We enjoyed always sitting at the bar and chatting with Nelson. James and Javier took great care of us as well. Everyone was always in a great mood. Not to mention the food is amazing. We cannot wait to go back!

PUR magic! The staff and people in general of San Pedro are wonderful! It’s difficult to put into words just how amazing this place is. The whole property was clean and well laid out. Many travelers stopped in to eat, drink, and play in the pool. We watched a lot of the action from our own veranda. The food and drinks at the taco bar were fresh and delicious! They even offer on site massages, which we took advantage of. We made many new friends with the lovely staff. Ian, James, Nelson, Lucy, Flor, Javier, to name just a few. We stayed in Jaguar, which is front and center to the action. If that’s not for you, I recommend staying in a different cabana. However, we were never bothered by noise or anything. They have nice shades you can close for a bit more privacy. Make sure to visit their sister property, Bella Vista, and their restaurant, Aji. You will not be disappointed with either place. Ask for Linda, Manny, Pablo, or Shari. So wonderful! We chose this place based off reviews and couldn’t be more happy with our decision.

The only slight negative might be that due to its location, there wasn’t much of a natural breeze, making it a bit more stifling. They always had fans running though. The mosquitoes do not play. Buy Avon Skin-so-soft and/or any bug spray that includes Picaridin. You will need it.

My husband and I visited PUR Boutique Cabanas for a couple nights during our stay in Belize. Upon arrival our names were beautifully displayed on chalkboard by main office and bar. Such a nice touch!!! We enjoyed the tacos and the micheladas at the bar! We also enjoyed the pool and the nice cozy rooms! But more than all we enjoyed the hospitality from the amazing staff including Nelson and Hilary and the many others that made us feel at home during our stay! It may sound cliche but it was "Unbelizeable"!! Thanks you everyone as we'll be recommending PUR to all our friends and we will definitely see you soon!

PUR exceeded our expectations. All the staff were amazing, especially Nelson, and knew us by our names after the first day. We ate a few meals and was never disappointed. They make the tortillas fresh in house. The rooms AC worked perfecting, they cleaned them daily for us, and we made some great friends with the other guests.

Our room was right next to the pool which probably wasn't as private as we had hoped but there was a privacy screen and great blackout screens for all windows and doors. It's a bit far from the main area of San Pedro but closer to Secret Beach so as long as you get a golf cart, you're good to go. We used the bikes a few times too! The pool gets pretty warm which is expected (we were there in the hot season) but not sure if there's a way to make it cooler.

PUR is a great place to stay. We spent 2 nights there and chose to spend the majority of our time at the hotel because it has everything you could ask for. The pool was nice, the food was great, and the bar makes amazing drinks. The staff were all super friendly, especially my boy Nelson who we looked forward to chatting with and ordering drinks from. When we go back to San Pedro, we'll stay here.

from the moment we stepped off the ferry we saw our names on a welcome board, handed cold water and cold wash towels followed by a short tour, welcome drink and they let us check in early! the food is great, the cabanas are amazing, super clean and comfortable and safe. the pool side and swim up taco bar is so unique! there is a great view of the beach via a short walk through back way which is a super quiet lane way. the landscaping is just stunning. its hard to leave this place. also, they drop you off when you go, both the pick up and drop off save you like $20US. also, just rent a golf cart and go to secret beach at blue bayou, just do it. thank me later.

the only downfall is that they are so popular that so many other groups come to visit it. ours was near the back so it wasnt an issue but i could see the first 2 units bothered by this. most people leave around 5 so you dont have to worry about it being loud at night. also the service seemed to go to new clients over those that were checked in but really wasnt an issue. im just reaching to add to this negatives

pool and bar basically right at the road and open for a public. didn’t felt privacy while swimming or eating at the bar…. the whole place by itself together with the cabana is very petite. I’m some oases even too small,for the price what the asking I don’t think it’s worse it. comparing to the fact that there’s no privacy at the pool.

quaint, well designed, close to town but removed enough that it is quiet and feels like an oasis, AMAZING staff. you can tell management has put a lot of effort into customer service from the moment we were picked up from the ferry. everyone working here was welcoming, attentive, friendly, had good energy, and made us feel at home. it truly sets this place apart for how they treat their guests.

very hard to find anything we didn’t like. we stayed in eagle ray and would suggest towel hooks near the hot tub.

Loved the attention from Billy, Jenny, Nelson, and Rosy. They made us feel welcome and part of the family. Everybody knew our name. The check-in process was easy, especially with a courtesy rum punch in our hands. They paid attention to details, had a nice surprise for us in our room upon arrival. The bed was very comfy. The shower was huge. And the hammock was a very nice touch. As small as the place is, we felt we were the only guests, even though all the cabanas were full.

You need a tutorial to watch TV... but who goes to San Pedro to watch TV?
