The location is very central and convenient. The rooms and building is very modern, clean and cosy. We were offered free breakfast during our stay as well, and the hotel is surrounded by nice restaurants and very short walking distance to shops in Thamel. Even though there were other hotels in the area, Kumari is located in a corner where cars cannot drive past, this was a good bonus as the cars and bikes can be quite noisy! Don't worry, your taxi can still stop right at the front door of the hotel! The staff are very friendly and help organised taxi service to and from the airport. Everything was very seamless, smooth and comfortable, overall our stay was really good and we would choose Kumari again if we return to Kathmandu.

The beds are quite soft, would prefer a firmer mattress.

El desayuno es bueno, conveniente, aunque sin un gran número de elecciones, si bien todo lo que hay está bueno. La ubicación del hotel es conveniente para poder visitar el centro de Katmandú a pie, a unos 10-15 minutos de Durbar Square (aunque está en un callejón y es poco conocido por taxistas). El personal del hotel es muy atento, y el wifi funciona bien

La ubicación en el final de un callejón que de noche sólo tiene una salida, y que hace que sea poco conocido por los taxistas. Por otro lado, el persona del noche de recepción duerme en la propia entrada, con lo que una de las noches regresando tarde no podía entrar. Me costó despertarle para que me abriese la puerta...

We liked everything about the Kumari Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu. The location in a quiet, narrow street away from the main traffic areas in Thamel was perfect for a peaceful sleep but still close-by to restaurants and shops etc. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and did everything possible to ensure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Breakfast ( included in the price) was delicious and the rooms were clean, spacious and furnished with really comfortable beds. Thank you very much Kumari Boutique Hotel- we would definitely stay here again next time we are in Kathmandu 😊🌟

Its location was great, just a few minutes walk to shops, food and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The staff were v friendly, polite n helpful, making our stay v comfortable. The hotel is small, with only 4 rooms per floor thus giving it a very homely feel n d rooms are clean. And lastly, I especially like the verandah outside d coffee house where we can have drinks (photo enclosed)

The meals were great. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the Garden of Dreams and Royal Palace.

There is no close in parking and the hotel is on a very narrow lane - logistical issues that likely won't improve over time.

My stay at Kumari Boutique Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. I'm impressed by the exceptional level of service and the warm hospitality I've experienced during my time there. From the moment we arrived at the airport, exhausted from a late-night flight, the hotel staff ensured our comfort. Despite the late hour, they promptly picked us up, making us feel instantly welcome. The staff's kindness and their dedication to ensure that our stay was comfortable and stress-free was remarkable (they even printed some work documents for us without hesitation). Our room was big, clean, silent and confortable and the bed was super cozy. Also the food was great, and we had delicious local cuisine on the rooftop, a very intimate experience. I must also commend the hotel's prime location, central but quite, which allowed us to easily explore the city's attractions without any hassle!

I loved my room at the back of the hotel overlooking trees and mountains in the distance. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Friendly helpful and experienced staff. Excellent breakfast. I go to Nepal regularly and will continue to stay there.

Staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. The bed was so, comfortable and the room was lovely. Food was delicious.

The remote for the TV was cracked, so took a little work to get it working.

Management and the manager of the hotel are real cheaters., looting tourist and misguiding them.

Premises and Facilities are a bit dated, but that may be true for all other places as well.

Very good location: 5 minutes walk from center, but in very quite area, so you can sleep well, which is a problem in the center. the staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and even mattress on the bed was much better that I expected. Breakfast was good as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the stay in Kathmandu.

nothing. maybe the only thing that when we arrived late (our plane was delayed for 4 hours), the guy from reception was sleeping and the doors were closed. But when we knocked he arrived soon and helped us. This was not a reason lower my 10 points mark for the hotel.
