Location is great

The grounds were very dirty, lots of litter in the kids play area and around the property grass areas.

Room served the purpose, mattresses adequate but not great, rest of facilities good. Staff very very friendly

It’s too noisy. It seems more like a party stay. Too load thru the the whole night. No control from security to keep the noise level down from other guests.

Neither phones or remotes worked - very low toilet - curtains did not close properly - no soft lighting in lounge - heat pump in bedroom did not operate properly

Service and location. The staff (all inclusive) made it all worth it. I would definitely go back.

The safe was not working. I did not attempt to get it sorted out, so I don’t know how the service would have been.

Breakfast was terrible. Asked for late check out, guy at reception extremely rude that's no way to speak to guest,waiters just stand around and do nothing, coffee cold,food cold and nobody comes and clean your table...absolutely terrible service

Excellent variety for breakfast. Minimally affected by loadshedding due to solar and generator.

Better quality food for lunch and dinner, although there are a few restaurant options nearby until the hotel restaurants ups their game.

The view from the hotel is literally the only good thing about the hotel.

The staff was very dull and emotionless and unpassionate. Felt like everyone from the reception to the restaurant was unhappy to be there and there vibe was unwelcoming. The only two people that made me feel welcome was the guys making the omelettes Thursday and Friday. Tuesday night my neighbors made such a rachas and noise, when i phoned reception and security a few times at 00:30 am no one answered, made the service felt useless. Really not a pleasing service i felt this week for 5 days, which justived the 3 star rating... at least the view was somewhat pleasing.

Lovely room, fast complimentary Wi-Fi, excellent room service, location (!!), peaceful. Hotel has the best view of all the hotels we've stayed at in Stellenbosch, unmatched.

On this trip we got a ground floor, west facing room with zero view, next to the cleaner's storeroom. Noisy in the mornings. Margarine, not butter (!!??) at breakfast.

it took 5 days to get 2 chair to go on our balcony/ they promised a room with a bath and a free upgrade which we never got / they never answered emails once. I will look for another hotel when we go back to South Africa

Great location with beautiful views overlooking the vineyards.

- We had to ask for the rook to be cleaned after leaving and coming back in the afternoon and finding it dirty but people had been there because towels & water were cleaned. - cleaning staff is super loud in the mornings so if you are trying to sleep in and have a relaxed morning you won’t get that. - Shower is tiny so if you are on the heavier side it will be a challenge.

Like always.... best place to stay in Stellenbosch. I'm quite a regular there. Always stayed there even if it is for pleasure or business. Excellent family units and best breakfast.

The unit wasn't ready at the time stipulated. The bedroom floor was full of dust. Haven't been broomed.

I booked for 3 days to rest after international travel and before a work conference. It was ideal with very comfortable, clean. quiet accommodation. Plenty of space to work and rest. The large pool is great for exercise. There is also a good gym although I didn't use this. The staff and service are excellent and worthy of a 5 star hotel. So friendly and accommodating and should be congratulated. The breakfast is very good with great options. The dinner options are casual but sufficient for a few nights and good wine choices. It is also a good base to explore Stellenbosch and the vineyards. Overall excellent value for money compared with the pricey, local boutique hotels.

The breakfast was lovely. 10 out of 10. The room was comfortable, bed and bedding superb.

Our shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom. There was no remote for the aircon. Also thought it was too expensive for what we got.

View was stunning and breakfast was lovely.

I asked for 2 separate beds and me and my friend had to share a dubbel bed. Also the ground flour room was unfortunately not wheelchair friendly. The bathroom is to small for a wheelchair to enter and the door to close. We had to make another plan. So please do not put visitors in wheelchairs in those rooms.

We loved everything except our room. We wanted a mountain view room but we were given a garden view.
