The owner Joy, truly is a joy!! Most welcoming , personal and friendly host I have ever come across. We stayed bed and breakfast in April and would thoroughly recommend. Home cooked breakfast in the tea house was so quaint and comforting and our room was spotlessly clean. Bailey our dog had a great time too and was made to feel very welcome. Thanks Joy! Going home!

We were in a three-bedroom cottage so had lots of room. I loved the location. It is at the edge of town and was very quiet. It is only a short drive to downtown and restaurants. The shower was good with a steady temperature and decent pressure. The bed I slept in was just a tad firmer than I normally like, but I slept well. I think the average person would like it. The other beds seemed firmer (I sat on all three before choosing which bed to sleep in). The clothes washer in the cottage worked well. The owner was very nice.

The clothes pegs were dirty, so I washed them before using them. (As long as future guests remember to bring them inside after use, they should remain reasonably clean.) I do recommend that future guests who use the clothes lines wipe them with a damp paper towel before use. Future guests should also store food items securely so as not to attract ants. Everything that can go in the fridge should. Otherwise, I recommend that groceries (if open) should go in tightly-sealed plastic bags or zippered grocery-shopping bags, etc. I'm doing this for the rest of my trip in Western Australia since they have lots of ants in this state.

Breakfast was just simply beautiful. Joy has an attention to detail that very few have. She is an amazing host.
